AlexBells: [s]There had been serious bitterness between the Igbos and the Ijaws in a deeper looking, I figured out that the Ijaws are the closest related tribe to us.
When we keep trading the war rhetoric, it could all end up dangerously and I don't see the need for us to resort to hurting ourselves, personally some of my best friends and advisers are Ijaws.
In the olden days, the Ijaws loved marrying Igbo women and more than every other tribe the Ijaws as a result of earlier contact to the British kidnapped and sold Igbos into slavery at other times they had enculturated many other Igbos.
The reality here is that honestly if we don't get on in an agreeable ways despite our connections things can escalate.
We should remember that The English are also Germanic but the two nations of UK and Germany would fight the world wars at opposing sides. Igbo and Ijaws maybe related but if not well managed can escalate.
There are three options for Igbos and Ijaw post Nigeria either we all join together in Biafra, we all join together in Niger Delta Republic, whichever country we chose being purely autonomous or we shall both form separate countries while deciding on how to deal with common interest.
Opobo and Bonny, could both be independent city state while Opobo can be Igbo pritectorate, Bonny can be Ijaw Protectorate but if we love these common interest grounds so much we can both forget our pride and form a country together with ensured autonomy or continue staying in Nigeria together.
I believe in Confederate States of AlaIgbo also Igbo Province of Nigeria[/s] Pile of shit!

plaindealer: Lagos state generates N31 Billion per month
Lagos state collects N10 Billion monthly oil allocation
N31 Billion - N10 Billion = N21 Billion.
It means Lagos state generates almost 3 times internally than from oil.
So, how is Lagos state nothing without oil, since it's generating many times over what it's collecting from oil allocations?
See, your posts are mostly lowly formulated, they lack serious thoughts, logic and basic sense. What gives lagos the buoyancy to generate that much if not the IOCs and FG investments? Put same IOCs and FG investments in other states and see if they won't generate that much, especially coastal states. |

Is there no river in Abuja?
Coasts are linked with the Sea everything else is a SHORE
It is not by IPOB stronghead Mumu. Does Abuja share boundary with any country or any international body? Abuja is located in the hinterland of Nigeria and its only accessible via land or air, which already its a disadvantage. Worldwide cities close to large water bodies do better than those in the hinterland. I'll say this for the last time. Move the capital of Nigeria to any coastal state besides Lagos and see what it will be in 30yrs time. Even currently Abuja has already taken Air travel from Lagos as the city with the busiest airport based on recent figures. |

Rivers is the Richest in Nigeria simply because of oil, but even with the oil, it's still the second most indebted state after Lagos so the oil makes zero difference, it is still a very poorly managed state, the massive oil wealth, IGR and second-largest debt in Nigeria made no difference beyond common flyover, the same flyover that poorer states are building left and right, they have the best flyovers in Kano, not in Rivers.
Money and oil wealth can not buy good leadership.[/s] Why does this one keep repeating nonsense. When did Rivers become the Richest State in Nigeria? I can see the flyovers in Rivers dey hurt you... Wike please build more, some people are dying in painsssss

Rivers is the richest state in Nigeria by money, oil wealth and very low 5 Million population, but progress stopped after Ameachi and the only thing Rivers is known for right now is flyover, that's all, nothing imaginative, nothing futuristic or visionary.
Oil wealth or no oil wealth, Rivers is still the most indebted state in Nigeria after Lagos so exactly what happened to all the oil wealth and debts/ loans?
