Imagine someone not knowing the implications of abusing NSAIDs! Just a month in Internal medicine and you pity Nigerians. Poor awareness of health, late diagnosis, total lack of information.

I believe every opportunity should be used in passing useful knowledge. Preventive medicine is as important as therapeutic.

Funny, she’s not far from the truth. Ethanol gets detoxified in the liver into a more water-soluble and ‘urinable’ solvent. This is where the liver gets exposed to continous damage predisposing to Liver Cirrhosis (excessive inflammation).

The kidneys aren’t at risk. However, a heavy drinker is prone to hypertension due to artherosclerosis (damage to the blood vessels and fat accumulation) which is a risk factor for CKD (Chronic kidney disease) and intrinsic AKI due to Renal artery stenosis (ARVD).

So in a nutshell, alcohol have no direct damage on the kidneys. Although it contributes to the development of AKI and CKD indirectly (and that is highly multifactorial).

Omo, I don't know about lifestyle affecting, because person wey I know wey dey approach 70 and has never had kidney issues didn't do any of this aside the water at best. And I know three other proper drinkers that are 50+ and do none of this, yet, no kidney issues.

However, the three people I have known with kidney failure, two women and a man, only the man actually had a drinking problem. Salt can affect kidneys too, not just alcohol I guess.

I am just talking based on my personal experience, I don't know about others.

When Queen was being dragged around by our Okro ambassador for being too clingy and suffered some humiliating episodes from Boma, some of you felt pity for her, attacked Boma and endorsed her closeness with WhiteMoney.

When Queen embarrassed our warrant officer during the pillow fight, some of you went into wild jubilation, the type that reminds me of when Nigeria Olympic Team won gold at the Atlanta 1996 football event.

Now, Queen just had a little misunderstanding with WhiteMoney, you guys are now shouting “No Vote Splitting”


Lemme ask, are you guys the handlers of WhiteMoney's SM accounts to give such orders? If you don't want to split your votes, kindly rest, don't come here to make it look as if you were the one that carried my Mazi WhiteMoney in your womb for 9 months.
