The way Messi hits the post with long shots in almost every game is puzzling. I think he is the player with most free kick efforts hitting the bar or post.

As an attacking midfielder, I was pleased with Messi's game today. He created chances for Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria and was a distinct class above his mates in decision making. Neymar has been worryingly below par, and needs to improve quickly.

It's a loss PSG can afford, first in 9 games, so no qualms for PSG and Messi.

Surely Messi is not going to be hitting the post forever.
