CrimeFather Jailed For Allowing His Son To Be Molested by KingGeorge1(op): 12:10pm On Jul 30, 2013
A man was arrested charged, and convicted after allowing numerous men to rape his little boy, according to court proceedings in Indiana.

Now, the man has been sentenced to 40 years in jail after pleading guilty to child rape charges.

The man, who was identified by police as an Australian native, was accused of using his little son for publishing online pornography. He has been sentenced in a U.S. court after authorities discovered child porn video streams being downloaded from his computer in Indiana.

The 42-year-old, was sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges related to child exploitation. The Indiana judge said he accepted the plea agreement Friday because the crime was too horrible for a jury trial.

Federal prosecutor Steve DeBrota said the defendant and his companion took the child to different countries and allowed other men to sexually abuse him. Prosecutors said that the crimes occurred in Australia, the U.S., France and Germany.
During Friday's hearing, the man told the judge he was sorry, and that he loved his son.

The man has purchased the child for $8,000 in a foreign country and has used false adoption documents to adopt the child in the U.S. The sexual abuse occurred when the child was as young as 2-years-old.
The judge also ordered the man to pay $400,000 in restitution to the abused boy.

It is so obvious the World is coming to an end and a times i wonder if the wickedness of this generation have not gone beyond what Sodom and Gomorrah experience before their destruction. Imagine a Man allowing 10 men to have carnal knowledge of his 10 years old adopted son? now i asked what is the world turning into?
I now asked the western and international community who frown at the recent position of our Government condemning and placing a ban with penalty for offender on the issue of same sex act/marriage,is this part of human right? cause i can't imagine a Man going to report a case of indecent assault against a fellow man to a law enforcement agent, that a fellow man assaulted u sexually, it is not just funny but a slap on the real essence of creation which and reproduction.
i commend the NASS and the government for that wonderful decision and admonish them for the sake of decency to also make a law with severe penalty for human trafficking to cause it was obvious the victim was adopted by the beast who called himself his father.

PoliticsForce Feeding In Guantanamo Bay At Ramadan by KingGeorge1(op): 5:00pm On Jul 10, 2013
Islamic community leaders are calling on the Obama administration to rethink its policy of force-feeding hunger-striking detainees in Guantánamo during the month-long fast of Ramadan that begins on Monday.

The US government has said that barring "unforeseen emergency or operational issues" it will respect the daylight fast by trying only to force feed 45 detainees at night. Muslim groups say that by refusing to suspend the practice during Ramadan the US is adding insult to injury.

"We believe it's wrong to force feed at any time but it is particularly upsetting to do it through Ramadan," said Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman of the largest US Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, the Council On American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). He said the situation was Kafkaesque: "It's not just a religious issue, it's also a human rights issue in violation of international norms and medical ethics."

Dr Azzam Tamimi, an Islamic community leader in Britain, said he hoped the Obama administration would reconsider. "As Ramadan starts, this issue is becoming increasingly embarrassing for the US government; it's about time President Obama took a brave decision to end this in a way that would be appreciated around the Islamic world."

The continuation of force-feeding through Ramadan is being legally challenged by four of the 106 detainees who are on hunger strike in protest at their prolonged detention without trial. A lawsuit filed with a federal court in Washington last week argues that night-time feeding could lead to long periods without water, endangering the hunger strikers.

To mark the beginning of Ramadan, the human rights group Reprieve has released to the Guardian a video in which the actor and rapper Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) submits himself to the enteral feeding imposed in Guantánamo. When the first tube was dislodged, he was unable to go ahead with a second attempt by the medical team to insert it.

The star said that he volunteered to be force-fed by two volunteer doctors to highlight what was happening to the hunger strikers in Guantánamo.

The four-minute video, directed by Bafta award-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia, seeks to reconstruct the specific force-feeding instructions set out in standard operating guidelines from Guantánamo leaked to al-Jazeera. It shows a plastic tube being inserted through Bey's nostril into his stomach. The "Medical Management Standard Operating Procedure" document leaked from the detention camp defines a hunger striker as a detainee who has missed at least nine consecutive meals or whose weight has fallen to less than 85% of his ideal body weight.

If force feeding is deemed medically necessary, medical personnel shackle the detainee "and a mask is placed over the detainee's mouth to prevent spitting and biting". A feeding tube is then passed through the detainee's nostril into the stomach.

The process takes about 20 to 30 minutes but they can be required to stay in the restraint chair for up to two hours until a chest x-ray confirms the nutrient has reached their stomach.

The prisoner is then removed from restraint chair to "dry cell" where they are observed by a guard for up to an hour "for any indication of vomiting or attempts to induce vomiting". If they do vomit, they are returned to the restraint chair for the entire duration of the observation period in subsequent feeds.

If they bite the tube, the guards hold their head still for "as long as necessary for the detainee to relax his jaw".

Other religious groups have also spoken out against the practice. Last month Bishop Richard Pates, chair of the committee on international justice and peace for the US conference of Catholic bishops, wrote to the defence secretary Chuck Hagel noting the opposition of the International Committee of the Red Cross to force-feeding. "Rather than resorting to such measures, our nation should first do everything it can to address the conditions of despair that have led to this protest."
HealthFake Drugs Uncovered At Beji Market In Minna by KingGeorge1(op): 10:39am On Jun 28, 2013
The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration Control (NAFDAC) has stated that those who specialise in selling fake and adulterated drugs have invaded local markets in Niger State.

To check this, the most prominent of the market near the state capital, Minna, the popular Beji Market, was yesterday raided and drugs of assorted forms were confiscated by the Agency.

Niger State Coordinator of the Agency, Mr. Dadi Mulak, who led the raid said those selling the drugs to unsuspecting public were merchants of death, saying that it was discovered that drugs were even sold and measured like grains in an open market.

He disclosed that in Beji village market, large quantities of various dangerous drugs were found on display for unsuspecting buyers and were capable of killing many if not checked.

Mulak declared: “We regard them as merchants of death and the cartel members sell the fake drugs like tomatoes in these markets. In some markets, the fake drug dealers sell Paracetamol tablets in ‘mudu’ measurements to the villagers”.

While saying that the situation is pitiable and disheartening, he wondered why the fake drug dealers have decided to make local markets their target.

With the upsurge of the fake drugs in circulation in the rural market, he stated that the Agency has decided to step up surveillances in village markets to check circulation and sales of fake drugs.

The information from the defence headquarters yesterday has revealed that Boko Haram members are not just fighting the cause of Islam alone, but also advocating safe sex,as the Special Forces in the North-East have found plenty sex condoms, drugs and explosive making items at abandoned insurgents' camps. Defence spokesman Brigadier General Chris Olukolade said in the statement "more of the dirty sides of the insurgents' life style are being revealed as troops continue to stumble on strange and bizarre objects such as several used and unused condoms as well as charms and amulets of various shapes seen in the captured terrorists' camps.
"Other common items are syringes, test tubes and hand gloves usually found in the rubble of most of the destroyed camps.
The Question is who are these political thugs decieving,Fighting the cause of islam with condoms n Narcotins not just Guns?

PoliticsState Of Emergency And Insurgency by KingGeorge1(op): 4:58pm On May 20, 2013
The recent declaration of state of emergency by the federal government on Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states as far as I am concerned is in order. It’s surprising that the government is getting criticisms from some people and group after this declaration, which means these persons or group do not want an end to the mayhem Boko Haram has brought on Nigeria.
This particular decision I think needs our backing. We just should not criticize because we want to be heard. So far nobody is offering a different solution. Let's spare thoughts for the victims (so far) of the Boko Haram insurgency, rather, the so called anti-corruption, good governance,Human rights activists, political and pressure group are spreading negative propaganda against the Government for their personal aims while gathering support from gullible Nigerian.
The menace of the Boko Haram is not news to everybody. This is a sect that wants the impossible,"ISLAMIZE NIGERIA and FIGHT AGAINST WESTERNIZATION" meanwhile, they cannot claim to be fighting against westernization, when they are using westernized weapons, using Youtube etal to communicate their criminal activities, while, for flimsy excuses they are carrying out robbery, kidnapping for ransom, killing, maiming and destroying innocent lives.
A state of emergency is a declaration by a government made in response to an extraordinary situation posing a fundamental threat to the country. The need to declare a state of emergency may arise from situations as diverse as an armed action against the state by internal or external elements (Boko Haram), a natural disaster, civil unrest, an epidemic, a financial or economic crisis or a general strike. So why politicizing the declaration?
ACF made a statement condemning the SOE,saying that force won't bring peace. Now i ask them which other suggestion have they brought forth? aside from crying for Amnesty for people who do not want it,just for the Financial aim they all seek to derive from it,as far as we all know, nothing will ever appease Boko haram quest for blood than more blood. Shekau earlier said Amnesty should be the other way round - they should be granting the FG amnesty. What is the federal government supposed to do in this case? Quietly sit and watch people die on a daily basis? Should the government wait until the entire North is wiped out? before declaring a SOE,which have already started yielding success.
Let’s see how the state of emergency fares in these states. Hopefully,if more success is recorded, then the federal government should be ready to make same declaration in neighboring states (where I am sure the insurgents will run to),this will make the other States government to sit up and be ready to tackle this monsters in their state instead of folding their arms and waiting for the Federal Government, after collecting security vote. My position is that, the priority of every good government is to make sure that the citizens are secure and protected from every threat both internal or external and I support whatever genuine measures that are being taken to make this come to daylight.

PoliticsHuman Right Group And US Silence Over The Killing Of Security Men. by KingGeorge1(op): 3:47pm On May 10, 2013
After the massacre of Security men by Ombatse traditional religionist(Militants) in Nassarawa State. One of the dare devil came to affirmed and justified the killing, telling NIGERIANS AND THE WHOLE WORLD that their group killed 95 policemen today, nearly four times the 23 the police have admitted. his statement read "We were in our place performing our rites, when our members alerted us that police may come for our father and leader,” he said. “Suddenly that day, the armed police came with guns and we say what happened? They did not answer us but started spraying teargas on us and killed nine of our members. In return for self defence we killed 95 of them, we have no guns it was machetes that we used in defending ourselves and eventually killed them. There is nothing like gun attacks"
And the whole country is quiet over such act, declaring war against the Nation, now the question is where are all the Human right activists,Amnesty international,Elder state men,and good governance apostle? their silence speak of only one thing "they are all in support of the Massacre of their fellow Nigerians,Fathers,Brothers, bread winners,Husbands and Friends, this showed the kind of people we are,a Nation where ethnic,Religion, selfish and most especially Political sentiment is most important than human lives,a heartless people with no good intentions for their Fathers land.
where is the BBC,CNN,AL JAZEERA,VOA,all the foreign Medias and our own very bias Media,I have been waiting to see documentary about the killing the same way the foreign media did few week ago, whenever any insurgent/Militant is killed, the whole social network goes gaga an or even an image from the satellite that was used by Foreign organisations in Baga's incident, why is the satellite no longer working over the Bama and Nasarawa massacre?

The act of kidnapping for ransom tactic used by criminal element in Nigeria have yielded so much gain that even boko haram have also adopted it for survival when there's too much hunger in hideout.the recent cash made from the french tourist have open their eyes to see the benefit of adding such criminal tactic to further the cause of sharia, now Ali Munguno another means of making cold cash presented itself and they took advantage of it,Munguno's kidnapping and the release must have increase the size of their purse as well. Now the question is that, is there any justification for using criminal means to further the cause of one's GOD or Religion which is seen as an organisation which seek to correct the societal ills thru it preaching..

PoliticsThe Many Stories Of Baga Massacre. by KingGeorge1(op): 3:55pm On May 02, 2013
It is worthy of note that the foreign media and their subordinate Nigerian counterparts have been awash with reportage of the Killing in Baga, with many unconfirmed stories and figures that will not only end up in raising more tension, fear and whip up sentiment/disaffection against the govt and it institutions but will also confirm the statement made by the west concerning the position of the country by 2014,while the Nigerian media who are assisting consciously and unconsciously in making the dream of the west come to reality soon by giving them a more friendly atmosphere to engage in their hostile propaganda aim at splitting the country. The Baga crisis have really confirm the position of our media houses through their various report like the unconfirmed mass graves report, few days ago the foreign media satellite that could not captured the exact location of Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the Osama bin laden's hideout in afghanistan and the various site were there was more civilians casualties in the middle east as a result of America's invasion, was able to capture more than two thousand burned houses in baga town, now the question is how many housing units do we have in baga town that over two thousands were burned(fallacy),on the part of our media the reported that the local govt chairman n chief in the area confirm a story, just for both party to claim that they weren't around when it happen? now the question is how many of our journalits have actually seen the mass grave(s) and where is the grave located among the three graveyards in the town? who has the story(s)aside from what they got from foreign media? just as the foreign media will doctor and manage issue concerning national security in favour of it govt, our media also should learn to put into consideration critical issues affecting the country without sentiment, cause we are concern about our country not the shameless and self centered politicians both from the ruling party and opposition..

PoliticsSultan Campaign Over Polio Vaccine Safety.... by KingGeorge1(op): 1:10pm On Apr 29, 2013
The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, in ensuring that the Nation become polio free in accordance with the effort of the present Administration, has appealed to parents to allow their children be immunized with the polio vaccine, saying it is safe to be vaccinated.
Mr. Abubakar made the appeal in Sokoto on Sunday at the launching of audio and video songs on polio, organised by the Rima FM Listeners Friendship Association, Sokoto.
The Sultan, who was represented by the Emir of Argungu, Sama’ila Mera, also said intensive researches had been conducted on the vaccine and it was found to be very safe.
“We wouldn’t have accepted it if the vaccine is not safe. NAFDAC also certifies all the batches of the vaccine imported into the country,’’ he said
In his speech Governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State commended the association for the gesture.
“The effort will help in further sensitising Nigerians on the dangers of polio and the need to eradicate it,’’ the governor, who was represented by the state’s Commissioner for Agriculure, Arzika Tureta, said.
Mr. Wamakko, who also noted the efforts of the Northern Traditional Leaders Committee (NTLC) on Polio and Routine Immunisation, urged the group to sustain the tempo.
The Minister of State for Health, Ali Pate, who spoke through Ado Abdullahi, reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment to wiping out polio from the country.
Mr. Pate, however, cautioned against politicising the campaign against polio by some Nigerians and commended NTLC for its sustained efforts.
The Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Ado Mohammed, expressed delight that no polio case had been recorded in the state this year.
Mr. Mohammed, who spoke through Shehu Abdulganiyu, said the agency was making frantic efforts together with all the stakeholders to fully eradicate polio from Nigeria.
The Chairman of the association, Nasiru Labaran, explained that the songs were produced with a view to further sensitising Nigerians on the dangers of polio.
The association conferred on Mr. Wamakko a merit award for his contributions to the success of the association’s activities.
Other recipients of awards at the occasion were the Sultan, Mr. Pate and the chairmen of Silame, Yabo, Tureta and Rabah Local Governments, among others.

PoliticsObtaining Tinted Glass Permit Is Free-igp by KingGeorge1(op): 3:20pm On Apr 19, 2013
Abuja – The Inspector General of Police (IG), Mr Mohammed Abubakar, says that obtaining police permit for the use of vehicles with tinted glasses “is free of charge and does not attract any charge”.
Abubakar made the clarification on Friday while speaking at a meeting with Assistant Inspectors-General of Police in charge of the 12 zonal commands in Nigeria.
He said that the meeting was to review security challenges, including terrorism, kidnapping, cultism and communal clashes in parts of the country in order to strategise on how to address the challenges.
The IG said: “obtaining tinted glass permit is free of charge, there is no amount of money written there for anybody to pay.
“Motorists should not allow any policeman, anywhere to subject them to paying charges that are not officially, legally and legitimately stated,’’ Abubakar stated.
The clarification of the IG comes against the backdrop of renewed clampdown on motorists driving vehicles with tinted glasses nationwide.
Motorists in the country have been lamenting that the police have been charging between N10,000 and N50,000 to grant the tinted permits, wondering whether the money actually goes into the coffers of the Federal Government.
Abubakar, however, said that those complaining about the clampdown were not sincere as they knew that “by all standards they do not deserve to have tinted glass vehicles’’.
He said that the police would enforce the ban as it was meant for the good of all Nigerians.
Abubakar said that to avoid abuse in the granting of the permit, the law only authorised the IG to issue it without delegating such power to commands commissioners of police.
“Do you know that most criminals use it (tinted vehicles) as hideout, to carry arms and ammunition, to carry IEDs, to throw bombs on innocent worshippers in churches and mosques and other places?
“We cannot continue to fold our hands and allow criminality to take place.
“Tell me what a commercial vehicle is doing with tinted glass, tell me what an ordinary Nigerian who has nothing to hide is doing with tinted glass.
“We appeal to Nigerians to understand this, that the essence of doing what we are doing is to ensure that people are safe and that innocent people are not just unnecessarily attacked,’’ he said.
The IG said that criminal elements such as kidnappers, armed robbers and terrorists used vehicle with tinted glasses to commit crimes, stressing that the police would not allow that to continue.
Motorists having vehicles with tinted glasses have been in dilemma over the police clampdown, saying that their vehicles came with factory-fitted tinted glasses. (NAN)

PoliticsMy View On Dr Datti And Sani Decision On Amnesty Committee by KingGeorge1(op): 12:45pm On Apr 19, 2013
With the recent outcry from the North for the federal govt to dialogue with the Islamic sect (boko haram) responsible for the reign of terror in the North and the recent step by the federal govt to constitute a committee who will work out modalities for the dialogue and subsequent pardon ( popularly known as Amnesty in the Nigerian context) for the notorious Islamic sect. The recent attitude by those who were at the fore front of the outcry for dialogue, are now pulling out of the committee set up by the govt for one funny excuses or the other, media report credit that Shehu Sani the kaduna base human right activist said he was not inform that's why he's not interested and that he has given Govt an information on who to contact, so Govt shld act on that. while Dr datti claim that the Govt in the previous attempt to bring the sect to round table discussion has been greeted by one form of insincerity or the other that's why he's pulling out.
Now i ask this question,If your father's house is on fire and simply becuz the custodians of the house(may be your elder ones) didn't inform you or was insincere in previous issues in managing fire outbreak in the house, you will not help in calming the fire,if so,then there's something wrong somewhere that the ordinary Nigerian need to know or it is simply that the public outcry by the northern leaders was just a Joke. cause i keep wondering when a call to serve one fatherland require Ceremonial notification? or the wrong doing in the past become an avenue for total lost of faith in ones own country? i call this an un-patriotic act, as it been it was a Political appointment will Sani wait for any ceremonious notification?
Nigerians have suddenly forget that the call to serve our father's land can come at anytime,,,that mean the neighboring countries around nigeria decide today to attack nigeria some people will sit and wait for formal notification before rising up to defend our father's land,, well if amnesty fail and the fire keep burning, soon it will burn to the point where we won't have anywhere to run to than face the worst.

The recent bombing galore in America though might not be related to the same issue in Nigerian still point out to the fact that even the Strong and Mighty(World power)do also have security challenges beyond their sophisticated technical and human well developed security agencies scatter within and outside the shore of America. The issue in Boston and Texas recently have shown that security challenges is not only peculiar with Nigeria but everywhere.who knows, it might be Boko haram that is responsible for the recent attack in Boston and Texas, after all,Nigerian not only Government called the Sect Ghost and adding it to African context of a Ghost,it is mainly believed to be an Evil spirit which has the ability to disappear from one Location to another. So Boko haram must have gone to America to show the Yankees how strong they are and the Foreign Media who are always on their toes to report negative events against the interest of Africa (black race) have refuse to give us the detail the same way they will do if it were to be any African countries, or the American Government opposition coming out to make an issue out of it like it is being done in Nigeria, were opposition instead of engaging in constructive criticism that will aid development will rather engage in subversive propaganda against their very own mother land as if they (Politicians) will do different from the incumbent and insensitive Government as claim by them, if given the same chance, with Nigerian political parties that have no ideologies (both ruling and opposition).
The truth remain that the attack on America might be possibly from our beloved Boko haram or their own terrorist group( known or unknown) but the west and their Media apparatus have doctored and managed it to their favor as against the way our own media and Nigerian will portray it,if it was in Nigeria.
PoliticsThe North And Power... by KingGeorge1(op): 5:06pm On Apr 17, 2013
Nigeria could have had her political independence before 1960, but because the northern region was not prepared for it, it was then moved to October 1, 1960.
Since 1960, when Nigeria got her political independence from Britain till date, the Northern region has ruled the country for 39 years out of 52 and half years of our political existence especially through military institutions.
The nearest a southerner was close to becoming a president was in 1993 but the same North annulled the election because they believe they were born to rule for life. When the head of state, the late General Sani Abacha, created nine more states to move the state to 36 and the country structured into six geopolitical zones, each region was to have six state apiece but the Eastern region were given only five states while North west was given seven states.
The old Kano State has 44 Local Government Councils while Jigawa that was carved out of the state has 36 Local Government Councils making it up to 80 Local Government Councils while Lagos State with 20 million population still had 20 Local Government Councils and Bayelsa State, the state crude oil was first discovered has only 8 Local Government Councils. The more Local Government a state has the more allocation for development especially when Northern political leaders have used land mass as basis for local government creation and allocation instead of the conventional population model.
The only thing the northern political elite have done with 39 years in political power is to massively amass wealth for themselves and their families but totally neglect the vast majority of the poor masses who are now murderers in the name of Boko Haram.
Most of the northerner political elites have been crying foul, accusing Jonathan government of neglect and marginalization just because for the first time in our political history a minority from Niger Delta is steering the political wheel.
Few years ago when the late President Umaru Yar’Adua was in power, 80% of political offices were occupied by the northerners and nobody raised any eyebrow.
Seventy percent of DGs of federal agencies were northerners and some people are still complaining that years of government neglect of the Northern region was the root cause of the security challenges in the North and that President Jonathan should be held liable for the backwardness in the North.
It was recently revealed that, the political elites in North control 83% of the oil blocs in the soil of the Niger Delta. For example, General Theophilus Danjuma who is an apostle of the Northerner total control and dominance of Nigeria was reported to be very poor and could only boast of one mud hut in 1979 in his village but after years of feasting on the resources of Nigeria he has become one of the leading African billionaires through ownership of oil blocs.
The other day he said he had about N500 million from the oil blocs that he did not know what to do with. Some of these owners of oil blocs collect billions of naira monthly without doing anything.
The criminal war and massacre in Nigeria is a struggle for political power, a struggle for the control of Presidency and a struggle to control Nigeria’s oil wealth.
Before the election of President Jonathan in 2011, the country was inundated with threats from the likes of Dr Datti Ahmed, Adamu Ciroma, General Buhari and others that there would be violence and Nigeria will be ungovernable if Jonathan is elected. Since the madness in the name of Boko Haram started, these men and other agents of Boko Haram arrested by security agents are still walking the streets of northern Nigeria as freemen.
Because, the sponsors of these evil act are running out of resources and also world leaders are beginning to pay closer attention to the evil being perpetuated by the so-called religions bug these elements created to fight President Jonathan’s government, they are now calling for amnesty for the murderers.
The first person to canvass for amnesty for Boko Haram is the sultan of Sokoto, followed by Bola Tinubu, Bola Ajibola, Mallam Ribadu, Speaker of House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal, Nasir el-Rufai, Sanusi, Lai Mohammed the ACN spokesperson, Buhari and others.
Tambuwal was quoted as saying that amnesty is a must for Boko Haram and since amnesty was granted to the Niger Delta militants it must be extended to the Boko Haram too, they are now comparing Economic struggle which all through the campaign didn't attack any mosque or moslem settlement with a Religious struggle called Jihad by those fighting and which main aim is churches and non moslem(Christians). The agitations of the militants then, to some extent, were germane save for the violence. They were being ripped off by multi-nationals, leaving them and their environment destroyed even though their zone produced the oil that provides for the entire country.
They agitated for resource control and also they wanted their lives to be touched by the oil that was being drilled daily from their soil. We all agreed, at some point in their struggle that the Niger Delta region has been neglected for too long. Regardless of the sympathy their plight elicited, their resort to armed banditry was widely condemned in strong terms.
Juxtapose this with the Boko Haram uprising and its attempt to forcefully impose a religious ideology on a secular Nigerian society. The terror, senseless and wanton destruction of life and property they have unleashed on Nigeria in a gutsy bid to oppose not only western education and culture is despicable.
Now the question is will the Jihad fighters accept the Amnesty or it will be taken over by those sponsoring them?
