Pasca07: don't mind the guy jare As in ehnn, i just tire for our pipu. Nigerians just love being hypocritical.
Now everyone is claiming he could have done something else to "Bless" them, when we all know that what they actually meant was "Give us the money eh"
If they wanted his autograph they would have said so.

Jayuba: In Nigeria, no musician is doing anything to change the poverty level in the country. They just make crowld follow them around expecting that money will be thrown at them. Oga when you make your money help the poor. What they decide to do with their money is strictly thier life, thier business.
Kapeesh!!
Its funny you made the statement @ bold. How exactly do they do that? Kindly enlighten me.

Family › Re: The DECISIVE Stage Of A Man's Life. by kinglekan: 6:09am On Jan 12, 2016 |
YoBoyfwend: Read this somewhere and found sense embedded....... Please Read:
"The most difficult age for any man should be between 24 and 29 years, the pressure to be someone important is so immense. When you look around you, everyone seems to be doing something for themselves, people seem to be living a life you only dream of. You have applied for jobs and the results have been more disappointing than you ever imagined. Sadly this is the age when most guys lose it, the age when if not careful, one is consumed by alcohol or drugs, because the disappointments become too much and you find alternative ways to face reality. Worse is when a few people you studied with have been lucky enough to land good jobs, soon your circle of friends gets thinner – mostly they don’t even cut you out directly but you're real with yourself and cut yourself off. Soon you realize this is no longer your kind of crowd because the more you stay around, the greater, the pressure to be someone important takes a toll on you. Have you ever sat in a group of people discussing the new iPhone on the market or how British Airways offers shit services and you can feel your heart whisper to you “You don't fit in here? But after a few years of job hunting, u are now ready to take anything even if is to smell a rich man’s farts as long as it pays. To imagine that 3 or 4 years of studying and getting a degree is now reduced to either picking and dropping off letters or being sent for cheap lunch by the employees. This is when conversations about where people schooled start, you go silent for it’s no longer of any use to say you also reached University, it doesn’t matter – you have resorted to surviving. The worst mistake you can make during this period is to try dating – there is nothing that a person going through such times can offer in terms of love. How do you have time for evening romantic talks when you are tired from walking delivering letters in offices around town? What are you going to tell your lady when she says she wants to go to Movenpick for dinner? Will you say that your financial religion doesn’t allow it or what? This is the age when you sit back and watch as the ladies you would want to be with, dating or getting married to guys 10 years older than you. And you can’t blame them – it’s only that your life seems to be progressing slower than their goals in life. Most of the ladies you meet during this period, if you are lucky, will be patient with you till you hit 28, and if by then your life is still in disarray like Liverpool’s performance in the EPL, then my friend be prepared for a walk out. If you can fight through this stage of life, the only hard moment in your life would be when you lose your parents - that’s if you are still lucky enough to have them. This stage teaches you a lot about perseverance, about appreciating the small wins you have each day, it teaches you something about friendship, love, career growth and personal responsibility. This is always your rise or fall moment depending on the choices you make. How you live your life in the 30’s is determined by how you handled your life in this phase." Very true.

Romance › Re: When your bae says "I love you" by kinglekan: 1:26am On Jan 11, 2016 |
Toks2008: And my answer is very crystal clear dude;Real Love exists only between man and GOD but what we have between 99.99 humans are flimsy conditional temporary feeling of affection mistaken as love....QUOTE ME IN HEAVEN. You are very wrong Mr Toks and I fault your line of thought considering the fact that you decided to go religious on the subject matter.
The statement in bold is far from the truth and as a matter of fact, nothing but mere conjecture.
Lets take a close look at the verse below.
1 John 4:20 (English Standard Version)
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen CANNOT love God whom he has not seen
You clearly asserted that love only exists between Man and God, yet this scripture says differently. The scripture lets us know it is much easier to love someone who you can see than to claim to love a God you haven't.
In other words the criterium for professing your love for God would be to love your brother (Sister, Relative, Spouse, Stranger, etc).
There is also a scripture regarded as the great commandment.
Mark 12:31 (English Standard Version) The second is this: ‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these
This was a statement made by Jesus and if it were impossible to truly love someone then it would mean that he gave a commandment no one could/can keep. But you know better.
The fact that people use the word "Love" and the next minute do something so silly that makes us question thier love doesn't mean love is a farce.
David was a man who loved God so much that God referred to him as a man after his own heart. Yet David killed a man and took his wife, thereby commiting adultery and he did other despicable acts but God never questioned the Man's love towards him.
You have to understand one simple thing, you don't need to spend 30years with someone to say the words "I love you". Love is a force that can be felt, it supercedes our emotions and it is the greatest power given to man.
We are still encased in our earthly vessel so there are times our actions might not be in consonance with love but it doesn't change the fact that love is real, love exists and we have the ability to love unconditionally.

Poseidon000: When you said obsession, I began to wonder if there's another meaning for the word "obsession"
Nigerians don't give a hoot on how south africans or ghanians choose to live their lifes. This is overt going through our newspapers, blogs,tv stations and even nairaland FP.
The only time south africa came under the radia of our attention, was during the lucky dube saga, which his killers claimed that they killed him bcs they thought he is a nigerian, and the xenophobic attacks against our people. Infact, the xenophobic attacks brought south africa to the attention of our masses who don't know jack about south africa.
I had lot of people that period, who asked for my help in listing south african investment in nigeria. In bide to boycott south african brands and products in support of our brdas.
If you notice, the dislike on south africa, has to solely do with the xenophobic attacks against nigerians and other african compatriot
That said. I won't dispute the fact that infinitesimal number of nigerians sometime make fun of ghanians, this is devoid of vitriol, cos anybody who know us well. Wouldn't take offence, cos nigerians make fun of lot of things. We do that to ourself(igbo yoruba hausa bash).
Aside from that, we nigerians don't have anything. Against ghanians, infact, my stylist is a ghanian.
So I don't get when you opined that we are obsessed with you guys...I mean, what is in south africa or ghana that gets nigeria obsessed Nicely put.
