Before or after the election, if Tinubu steps aside, Amaechi automatically becomes the official APC candidate. Even if Tinubu/Shettima win the election, if they havent been sworn in and something happens to Tinubu, Amaechi automatically inherits the victory.

It can only be Shettima if APC wins the election and Tinubu/Shettima has been sworn in. At least this was how the courts interpreted things in the case of Yahaya Bello.

I'm sure Amaechi must be praying seriously for a weird combo of events to happen; i.e. Tinubu wins but dies before May 29th next year. It wouldn't be the first time Amaechi would be inheriting a mandate without even contesting in general elections.

From my little observation, Igbo rich men do better in raising kids than other Nigerian tribes, followed by Hausa-Fulanis, I could be wrong though but its my observation.


Take a look at Aliko Dangote's daughter and other Nigerian rich men's kids from other tribes and compare them with Otedola, Tinubu, Obasanjo, Kemi Olunloye, Femi Fani Kayode dad, Abiola, many other Yoruba rich men's kids and you will see a big lapeses.


A man as wealthy as Femi Otedola ought not to allow his children to do certain things, neither should he allow them marry just anybody without considering their future. Why must all his kids end up with showbiz men, when it's a known fact that showbiz marriages dont last? There are Nigerian rich kids of their kind that you can fix them up with while growing up and they build real love and raise balanced, healthy family.
