semid4lyfe: *This thread will not be closed*
It has a lot of brilliant contributions, analysis, data and is an invaluable resource library / repository on Nigerian football and footballers
Furthermore, this thread has transcended Nigerian football into our personal lives as connections have been made and friendships have been forged here.
The thread will only be renamed to reflect our future aspirations and I welcome suggestions for that. Supported. |

Karlovych: Iheanacho played 90 minutes in the first leg, he didn't hit any shot on target neither did he drop deep or give any passes to lead to anything that was meaningful
The team has shown us that they don't deserve to be in the tournament.
Strikers missing sitters, selfish showboating wingers.
They've been squandering chances since the Afcon and Eguavoen refused to address it.
Our local coaches have done it again. At the bold, let me assume you forgot. The pass he gave to Moses Simon that he Moses couldn't convert is one pass that would have led to something meaningful if it was converted. |

Danielnino00: If the NFF is serious, now is the time to rebuild the team... Get rid of the coaching crew, especially Eguavon and that clown Agu... Also, some players in the team need to be retired... Musa, Ighalo and Shehu have no business being there anymore... The goalkeeping department needs urgent attention... What I'm also thinking. Get the coach sorted out now not few days to AFCON qualifier they'll now appoint someone and give him list of players to call up. |

komekn: It's really sad we are not going to the World cup.
I looked at the conceited contributions and how we dismissed the challenge of Ghana.
I don't think we prepared enough and our team selection was very questionable.
Am I shocked, absolutely not.
Gutted and sad painfully YES.
What may seem strange is l think Rohr would have done better. Your UK players failed us and that's my take home from not watching the match. |

JohnBullMySon: Our problem is coach. Ghana had European born players.
Senegal had them too. Morocco and Tunisia too. Why must it be the Nigerian ones that will give problem
Eguavoen and Amuneke needs to be sacked today, then we look for a proper coach. 8/11 na significant influence so they should have done better with the significant tactics that komekn said they usually taught them over there. |

To do what assess damage?
Is the work of the army and it's ilk now for search and rescue operation and not to protect the territorial integrity of the nation?
The bandits and terrorists are gaining ground and hoisting flags all over the place and all we get is the assurance of The COAS that the troops will be undeterred and vehement in the fight against banditry and other forms of criminality.
Tueh we never had it this bad.
May Nigeria never happen to any of us. |

The Etebo they also said we don't need came on and did calm things. Imagine the Ighalo that they said should retire actually repeating just what he did vs Cameron years back, on Tuesday.
E go pain them. This one you are mentioning Ighalo. Is he going to pick up the ball from the midfield to the net? Or was the issue yesterday that of the CF or lack of supply to them? |
