Politics‘we Won’t Betray Nigerians,’ President-elect Says by Kingpinukecy(op): 7:30pm On May 07, 2015
President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari has
promised Nigerians that he will not betray
or disappoint them.
Buhari also thanked citizens of the country
for voting for him despite the many odds
they faced.
The President-elect made the comments on
Wednesday, May 6, 2015, while receiving a
delegation of All Progressives Congress
(APC) supporters from Taraba State in Abuja
“I assure you that the government that the
APC will eventually put in place will be
effective. We will never betray the people
because people risked everything; some
lost their lives for this cause to make sure
that they voted the leadership they believe
in, the leadership they trust in this multi-
party democracy,” Buhari said.
He also urged the APC governorship
candidate of Taraba, Aisha Alhassan not to
give up on her bid to be governor.
“Aisha, don’t give up. You are younger and
this is your first attempt. I contested three
times and this is my fourth attempt. I hope
that you succeed in court. I hope you will
win in the court,” the President-elect said.
Alhassan lost to Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) candidate, Darius Ishaku in the rerun
governorship elections which held on
Saturday, April 25, 2015.
She however described the result as
daylight robbery and has challenged it
before the state election tribunal.

ComputersSoftware Engineers Check This Out by Kingpinukecy(op): 8:17am On May 07, 2015
Software engineering (SE) is concerned with
developing and maintaining software
systems that behave reliably and efficiently,
are affordable to develop and maintain, and
satisfy all the requirements that customers
have defined for them. It is important
because of the impact of large, expensive
software systems and the role of software
in safety-critical applications. It integrates
significant mathematics, computer science
and practices whose origins are in
engineering.
Students can find software engineering in
two contexts: computer science programs
offering one or more software engineering
courses as elements of the CS curriculum,
and in separate software engineering
programs. Degree programs in computer
science and in software engineering tend to
have many courses in common; however,
as of Spring 2006 there are few SE
programs at the bachelor’s level. Software
engineering focuses on software
development and goes beyond
programming to include such things as
eliciting customers’ requirements, and
designing and testing software. SE students
learn how to assess customer needs and
develop usable software that meets those
needs.
Both computer science and software
engineering curricula typically require a
foundation in programming fundamentals
and basic computer science theory. They
diverge in their focus beyond these core
elements. Computer science programs tend
to keep the core small and then expect
students to choose among more advanced
courses (such as systems, networking,
database, artificial intelligence, theory, etc.).
In contrast, SE programs generally expect
students to focus on a range of topics that
are essential to the SE agenda (problem
modeling and analysis, software design,
software verification and validation,
software quality, software process,
software management, etc.). While both CS
and SE programs typically require students
to experience team project activity, SE
programs tend to involve the students in
significantly more of it, as effective team
processes are essential to effective SE
practices. In addition, a key requirement
specified by the SE curriculum guidelines is
that SE students should learn how to build
software that is genuinely useful and usable
by the customer and satisfies all the
requirements defined for it.
Most people who now function in the U.S. as
serious software engineers have degrees in
computer science, not in software
engineering. In large part this is because
computer degrees have been widely
available for more than 30 years and
software engineering degrees have not.
Positions that require development of large
software systems often list “Software
Engineer” as the position title. Graduates of
computer science, computer engineering,
and software engineering programs are
good candidates for those positions, with
the amount of software engineering study
in the programs determining the suitability
of that graduate for such a position.
Most IT professionals who have computing
degrees come from CS or IS programs. It is
far too soon for someone who wants to
work as a software engineer or as an
information technology practitioner to be
afraid that they won’t have a chance if they
don’t graduate from a degree program in
one of the new disciplines. In general, a CS
degree from a respected program is the
most flexible of degrees and can open
doors into the professional worlds of CS, SE,
IT, and sometimes CE. A degree from a
respected IS program allows entry to both
IS and IT careers.

FamilySome Major Reasons Couples Quarrel About Money by Kingpinukecy(op): 9:38pm On Apr 27, 2015
Money is one of the most sought after things on earth; man’s needs centres around money even. However, one thing couples quarrel about the most is money; when there is a lack of it there would be quarrels, when there is excess of it there would be quarrels, and there would also be quarrels when money is in moderation. Show me a couple that doesn’t have money quarrels and I would show you a couple that’s living in peace. It’s quite considered unromantic to talk about money before marriage; but I think it’s important couples know what and where they are heading into so as not to enter the trap of money quarrels unprepared. Why do money and finance come in between even couples that seem so in love?
1. DIFFERENCE IN SPENDING HABITS We all have different personality traits and it also shows in how we use our money; some are frugal, some are spendthrift, some love to save a lot, others don’t, and this could be a big problem if two people enter marriage unprepared for such antecedents that have led to a collapse in many marriages. Spending habits are a major reason couples have money disagreements.
2. OPPORTUNITY COST AND SCALE OF PREFERENCE Opportunity cost and scale of preference are useful economic tools in making purchases in order of relevance and preference, but like I mentioned earlier we all have different personality traits and this in turn can alter the effectiveness of opportunity cost and scale of preference if care isn’t taken. The man might be thinking of getting a new car to help the family transportation, whereas the woman might feel moving into a new house should be the major priority; they are both right in their thinking and this in itself is another major money problem couples face — placing priorities.
3. CONTROL Control of financial resources is also another reason couples quarrel about money. If one partner is more interested in making financial decisions in the home than the other then money quarrels would be a bit less; but when both partners are interested in the financial decisions and they have contrasting views then that’s a big problem that would result in quarrels.4. IN A SINGLE INCOME HOUSEHOLD When one partner is the sole bread winner of the home, especially in the case of the man, he expects to have almost total control of the resources, and this would lead to quarrels if he has a wife that wouldn’t have any of it.
5. IN THE CASE OF BOTH PARTNERS WORKING Even when both partners earn an income, it could still pose a problem. Partner A might feel partner B doesn’t put enough money into family use and vice versa; this could lead to quarrels also. Appropriation of funds and misappropriation of funds are reasons couples quarrel about money.
6. KIDS How to and how not to spend on the kids is another reason couples quarrel about money. When couples start having kids, the whole picture changes; their education, their feeding and catering for them become an issue with both partners having different ideologies on what’s right and what isn’t, and how to spend and how not to spend. If u get any one tell us

FamilyRe: 10 Habits That Ruins Every Relationship by Kingpinukecy(op): 9:18pm On Apr 27, 2015
continuation:
7. DOING EVERYTHING TOGETHER: Just because you are in a relationship doesn’t mean you should do everything together with your partner. Your partner needs some alone time and you shouldn’t deprive your partner of that. Many relationships crush because of partners not having an ‘alone time’ to do the things they love.
8. HOLDING ON TO GRUDGES: If you want your lovely relationship to last, then you should learn to forgive. Holding on to grudges isn’t good for any relationship and it could ruin your lovely relationship faster than you expect. You should understand that your partner would wrong you sometimes and it is expected you learn to forgive when your partner hurts you. Stop holding onto grudges. 9. LIES: Some people would say white lies are necessary to keep a relationship but I totally disagree. A lie no matter how little and irrelevant you think it is could destroy trust and ruin a relationship. You should ensure you build your relationship on honesty.
10. EXPECTING YOUR PARTNER TO READ YOUR MIND: It’s amazing to find lovers expecting their partners to read their mind when something is wrong. Your partner isn’t a magician so when there is an issue, try talking about it with your partner and also remember to do it at the right time too. I added at the right time because bringing up serious issues when your partner is stressed isn’t right.
Family10 Habits That Ruins Every Relationship by Kingpinukecy(op): 9:14pm On Apr 27, 2015
It’s really fun when you meet someone that truly loves and understands you. it feels like magic and we find ourselves praying that it never ends but do you know you could possess some habits that could ruin your amazing relationship sooner rather than later? Below are 10 habits that ruins every relationship
1. COMPARING YOUR PARTNER WITH YOUR EX: So many lovers are guilty of this habit and this is one habit that could ruin your relationship faster than you can imagine. You should understand no two persons are the same and everyone is unique. Try not to jump into a new relationship quickly after going through heartbreak to avoid comparisons.
2. TRYING TO RECREATE YOUR PARTNER: I sometimes don’t understand why people try to recreate their partners. You met that person the way they are so why try to changer them into someone they are not. You should understand no one human is perfect (including you) so try not to expect unrealistic changes from your partner.
3). BEING TOO DRAMATIC: Being a drama queen or king is bad for your relationship and would definitely ruin your relationship sooner than you expect. Like I said earlier, there is no perfect person; so don’t expect a perfect partner. Everyone is entitled to make mistakes sometimes and try not to overreact when your partner makes a mistake.
4. CONSTANT ARGUMENTS: Arguments is part and parcel of every healthy relationship and don’t expect a relationship without one. Just because arguments are part of every healthy relationship isn’t no excuse to quarrel and argue everyday as it could ruin your relationship. Try not to argue over every little thing and save the arguments for more important things in your relationship.
5. SNOOPING: A lot of people can’t avoid the temptation of snooping through their partner’s stuffs but the truth is that you do all that because you don’t trust your partner. If you don’t trust your partner, why be in the relationship? Trust is key for every relationship to work.
6. KEEPING SCORE: This is another habit that can ruin your relationship and it is a habit that you should avoid if you want your relationship to succeed. It amazes me when I find couples keeping track of every little detail in their relationship. Just because you called your partner for 2hours doesn’t mean they should do same. Expecting everything you give back can cause unnecessary tension in every relationship.

Food9 Household Crisis You Can Solve With Salt by Kingpinukecy(op):
Turns out a simple dose of salt can solve a whole slew of home disasters, like cracked egg messes and spills. And not only are the fixes incredibly easy, but they’re also usually cheaper than using other fancy cleaning products. Here are a few of our favourite ways to let salt save the day.
1) Get sticky gunk off your iron Turn your iron on high, and sprinkle a generous amount of salt onto a piece of wax paper. Move the hot iron over the paper, and watch the salt cause your gunk to fall right off.
2)Get rid of mildew To banish mildew stains and smells from clothes or towels, make a paste from salt and lemon juice. Rub the paste on the stain, then let dry (ideally in the sun). Run clothes through the washing machine for good measure.
3)DIY dishwasher soap If you find yourself in a pinch, make your own dishwasher detergent from salt, baking soda and regular dish soap. It works like a charm! Clean a grime-covered sponge Fill a container with 2 cups of water and a quarter cup of salt. Leave your greasy, blackened sponge in the mixture overnight, then watch the grime fall right off.
4) Get rid of caked-on pan grease Cover the greasy residue with a layer of salt, then add some water and wait 10 minutes. The solution will dissolve the grease, allowing you to easily wipe it away.
5)Clean a grimy wood cutting board You shouldn’t put wood cutting boards in the dishwasher, but you can disinfect them with hot water, salt and lemon juice.
6)Clean up a cracked egg There’s no need for wads of paper towels. Cover the mess with salt, and wait 10 to 15 minutes. The salt will turn the eggy goo into a crumbly sand that’s easy to wipe up.
7) Clear up a red wine stain Sprinkle salt on the fresh stain, and wait 5 minutes. Splash with cold water, and rub until the stain disappears.
cool Clear up a hair clog in the drain Make a natural drain cleaning mix by mixing 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of salt. Remove as much hair from the drain as you can with your (gloved!) hands, and then pour the mixture down the drain. Follow with 1/2 cup of white vinegar, and let sit for 15 minutes.
9) Rinse everything down with a pot of boiling water. Voila!

Politics‘keep Your Praises To Yourself,’ APC Leader Tells Kashamu by Kingpinukecy(op): 10:11am On Apr 22, 2015
Kashamu had earlier described Tinubu as his role model and the architect of the future Nigeria due to the APC’s massive victory in the recently concluded general elections. The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has urged Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Buruji Kashamu to refrain from praising him. Kashamu had earlier described Tinubu as his role model and the architect of the future Nigeria due to the APC’s massive victory in the recently concluded general elections. However, Tinubu has told the PDP chieftain, who is the Senator-elect for the Ogun East district, to direct his flattery to his true political fathers. The APC leader made the comments via a statement released on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, by his media adviser, Sunday Dare. It reads: “The days of false adulation are gone in Nigerian politics. Fake praise singers like Kashamu will find that their particular craft is no longer in vogue. During this election cycle, their practice has dramatically turned from the way things are to how things used to be.” “Politicians will no longer be able to change direction and loyalties as if they were changing clothes. Those in politics must know that responsibility and accountability shall now follow them. One can no longer walk both sides of the street at the same time. In case Kashamu has not noticed, the politics of principle defeated the politics of posturing.” “This same Kashamu rained insults on former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a vicious campaign of calumny. Kashamu’s party, the PDP, sponsored defamatory documentaries full of lies and innuendos against me, General Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders of the APC.” “Please keep your peace until you make your trip to the USA as a senator-elect. Upon your return we can then have a conversation. We can then proceed with your repudiation of the PDP with a promise that you will stop corrupting and fouling the political system.” “I am a patriotic, law abiding Nigerian and my achievements make me world- renowned. I am a global citizen that travels freely to the USA, the United Kingdom and other nations. I associate with individuals who seek democracy and good governance for all. I do not spend time with characters whose values are at variance with societal expectations and laws governing a decent society.” Kashamu is currently facing an extradition threat after allegedly being indicted for drug dealing in the US in 1998. Romance7 Ways To Remind Your Boyfriend You Love Him by Kingpinukecy(op):
To keep your romance alive, you have to assure him you are with him every step of the way, even when you are both at different places at that particular time. What if you aren't the romantic type or are not quite good at expressing your feelings, Jennie Mitchell of Binoni gives 7 ways to remind your boyfriend how deeply in love you are:
1. Non-holiday gifts: A sentimental gift, given on a day that is not a holiday or his birthday, is one of the easiest ways to remind your boyfriend that you love him. This gift doesn't have to be elaborate or expensive. You don’t need a special reason to give him a gift, other than the fact that you love him. It could be as simple as a funny t-shirt or book that reminded you of him. The amount of money you spend doesn't matter.
2. Texts: Do you ever just text your guy to remind him that you love him? Sending a sweet little text message shows him that he was on your mind. These texts don’t necessarily need to be long or dramatic. Just a quick “I love you” text is enough to show you care. You like receiving sweet texts, right? It only makes sense that he would enjoy receiving them, too.
3. PDA: Many guys like a little bit of PDA. When the two of you are out together, playfully show him some public displays of affection. This can be as simple as squeezing his hand or patting his knee. Show the world that you are proud to be with this guy. As long as you don’t go overboard with it, a little bit of PDA shows him that you love him.
4. Take interest in his friends: When was the last time you took an interest in your guy’s friends? Even if they are annoying at times, don’t diss his buddies. After all, if your guy likes them, they must have some admirable qualities. When you alienate his friends, your guy will always feel like he has to choose between you and them. By taking an interest in his friends, it shows your boyfriend that you respect that part of his life.
5. Trust: No relationship can survive without a certain level of trust. Trusting your guy to make the right decisions gives you an air of confidence. Guys love a confident woman. Unfounded jealousy makes you appear insecure and obsessive. If you have no valid reason to distrust him, don’t fall into the jealousy trap. Trust is an important way to show your love.
6. Give him space: Giving your guy space does not mean you need to leave him for days on end. Just give your boyfriend some time to do his own thing. This way, he knows that his happiness is important to you. This means you shouldn’t make your boyfriend feel guilty about doing guy stuff once in awhile, instead of spending every minute with you. You’ve heard the old adage, “happiness makes the heart grow fonder,” right?
7. Notes: When I started dating my current husband, we used to leave each other little notes in odd places. For instance, I might drive by his workplace and leave a sweet note under the windshield wiper of his car. I knew that he’d see it when he got out of work and it would bring a smile to his face. He once left me a note in the sugar bowl because he knew I’d see it when I woke up and made my morning cup of coffee. These notes made us both feel loved by the other.
