Jobs/Vacancies"5 Terrible Mistakes Employees Make That Are Unforgivable" - Vineck.com by Kingstel(op): 9:58am On Mar 02, 2017
The word ‘employees’ is usually used in the corporate world to mean ‘workers’ or human resources who are charged with the responsibility of running an organization by managing other vital resources to the satisfaction of all the stakeholders. If you are reading this piece right now as a worker, but you are not an employee of any organization, then it is easy to guest that you are in the opposite side (i.e. Employer).
However, with the political and economical changes occurring around the world, it is not surprising to find many in both sides of the divide with a view to earning more income to meeting their growing bills.
One of the major problems the world is grappling with today is the high rate of unemployment. Being a serious threat to the earth, this is causing so many social vices, extreme poverty, economic sabotage, etc.
Sadly, for most of those who are gainfully employed, they make some costly mistakes that life itself would not fail to forgive them as there is hardly a second chance to remedy them as you will come to know soon, as revealed by Vineck.com.

FAILING TO PLAN YOUR EXIT STRATEGY
It is advisable for every employee to have a defined plan so as to know how he intends to work, the length of time to put in, results/growth strategy to adopt, etc.
One secret question always in the mind of your employer, especially in the private sector, is: “How can I do without this staff?” It is stupid to think that because he likes you and you are smart; so he will not sack you and will keep increasing your salary.
Well, you need to plan your career path for the short and long terms with a plan B strategy (even government jobs are now becoming unsafe due to political instability, among other reasons). This you should always ask yourself everyday: “Should I lose my job for one reason or the other today, what would I do next? How would I survive? This is how smart and successful employees think, unlike the unwise employees who feel that they have arrived; and so, become relaxed.
Whether you like it or not, you will surely live the company one day for some good or bad reasons. One interesting thing I have come to notice among those who plan their exit strategy is that they are able to harness opportunities when they show up in disguise. These set of few people grow fast and successful in their chosen career. Just be well prepared, OK?

BEING WASTEFUL
It is not uncommon to find people spending money or other resources carelessly especially after getting a well paid job. That is when they remember that they just need to change phone, car or move to a more decent apartment. I remember a friend who likes throwing party every weekend for his friends having secured a job as a manager with about ten (10) subordinates under him. He didn’t last there for more than 10 months due to some unforeseen challenges the company run into. Right now, he can barely afford a meal in a day just less than three (3) months after quitting the job.
The important lesson to take away here is that you should be very disciplined with time, money, etc for the good of yourself as well as your organization.

NOT WILLING TO IMPROVE
I am sure so many are guilty here…hope you are different? Upon landing a good job, many would simply become lazy to try improving on the job or for personal development. I am not talking of just acquiring new certificates, but I am referring to personal development that would help you stay relevant with change in time and technology in each passing year. For example, you still find many staff who do not know how to use the computer system in enhancing their work.

BEING ALWAYS IDLE AT WORK
Unless you are sick, one of the situations your boss hates to see you is being idle during work hour. This is very more common in private establishments. Those times your boss observes that you are not busy makes him feel that he is losing money and start having a rethink as to the need to keep retaining you.
Even if you have to fake it sometimes, it is necessary to keep your job intact so long you can defend yourself. This is what I used to do as an employee. I made use of the laptop and internet a lot in the office. So, any time I have the chance, I make my boss know how much free findings/studies I was doing with regard to my job which would cost the company so much if they have to pay for them. This helps me to justify my actions and also reflect in my performance; not forgetting the facts that I also do some personal stuff as well.

BEING OVERLY LOYAL
It is important to pay rapt attention to this so that you misunderstand it. It is good to be respectful and loyal to your boss. In facts, it is one of the traits your boss would always look out for, OK?
The point I am trying to make here is you should have an independent mind of your own. It shows fear or lack of confidence when you always agree with everything your boss says. One of the qualities most heads of organisations is to have a subordinate that can think fast and smart. People like this are the type their boss seek their opinion before taking some certain decisions.

That is it as composed exclusively for Vineck.com…now, you are better informed! If you are making any of the above mistakes, it is in your best interest to start making the necessary corrections straightaway.

Jobs/Vacancies"The First 5 Things Recruiters Check In Your Application" - Vineck.com by Kingstel(op): 8:02am On Mar 01, 2017
Job applicants are rapidly growing in the world and more of these numbers are becoming very frustrated since the chances of getting calls from thousands of jobs they always apply for many months are very slim. This has led many unemployed people to ask continuously as to what recruiters or employers actually want so as to help them perform well in their job hunting endeavour.

To this end, Vineck.com took out time to explore the major 5 (five) things recruiters check in applications during the selection process. It will interest many job applicants to know that the act of recruitment is really not an easy task, but one that comes with lots of stress, requires patience as well as proper planning.

At the end of this piece, it is expected that you learn the 5 (five) critical things recruiters check in your application in order for you to make adjustments where necessary. There is stiff competition in the labour market; and, therefore, it is the purpose of Vineck.com to help you stand out from the crowd with articles like this.

DO YOU PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS?
There is nothing more annoying to the recruiter than finding applications that do not conform to the instruction as to how you ought to apply for the job. This has made very qualified applicants to lose out from being hired as the recruiter would simply skip disobedient applications and move to the next without even thinking of giving it a though since that comes with extra stress.

ARE YOU ORGANIZED?
This says a lot about everything in your application. It either makes your application captivating or otherwise. It also shows how serious (or I should say, how professional you are). Being organized reflects from the way you present your application: the style of text used, the way you write your statement of intent which some call application letter, etc. the truth is that there is no best way of being organized with your application. What is essential to remember is that your application (along with your Curriculum Vitae) should look neat, easy to read and the layout should be simple.

ARE YOU REALLY QUALIFIED?
To make this simple, the recruiter would look at your educational qualification(s) as well as your past work experience with regard to the vacant job position. This can be said to be the most important thing that recruiters must carefully look out for since it would be dangerous to hire an employee who cannot perform some specific job functions as he claimed during the recruitment process.

IS YOUR AGE BRACKET RIGHT FOR THE JOB?
Many people have argued this over time on whether or not the age bracket of an applicant can affect his hiring success. The truth about this is that age bracket is relative depending on so many things to consider.
However, what is not acceptable is that there are some jobs which are meant for mature staff particularly in terms of physical appearance. The right thing is not too appear too young for a job that requires mature staff and vice versa. So, under consideration by the recruiter is the length of time your services would be needed if offered the job. It is important to add age usually goes with some level of responsibility and experience in life; and this is why many organisations take this seriously.

WHAT IS YOUR LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT (IQ)?
After considering the above information about you from your application submitted, the recruiter would like to know your level of intelligence as every organization wants staff who can think fast with some degree of accuracy especially when under work pressure.
To understand this, the recruiter would look at your school grade or any position held anywhere as stated in your application. The recruiter would also look at any achievement along with your skills as stated in your application in order to determine your level of Intelligence Quotient (IQ). For example, a first class student, who is a youth leader in his local community, or won ‘The Best Student Award’ at school, or knows how to use many different a set of software/applications in a computer system, would him appear intelligent, right?

There you have it. In case you have more critical things you feel should be added, Vineck.com would be glad to learn about them.

The institution of marriage is one of the strongest relationships that even the heaven and earth recognize; and this is why it is very important to be well guided before embarking on such union which is supposed to last forever.

As humans, to avoid making mistakes, taking marital decisions comes with lots of anxiety and a series of concerns as to what it will be like just after the wedding ceremony, as observed by Vineck.com.

In order to have and enjoy a blissful marital life, it is advised that young lovers begin to prepare early in every way; and making timely adjustments where necessary so as to make the marriage work and be a good model to others.

It is essential to add here that there is no perfect marriage in the world, but how you try to make yours work makes it perfect for the couple involved. Every marriage is unique in its own way and should be treated as such.

In the course of making the necessary arrangement of the marriage, there are many questions to ask. While some are more important than the other, some are sort of sub-sets for the other.

This informed the need by Vineck.com to highlight some very important questions that lovers (or I should say partners) need to ask themselves and their fellow lovebirds as captured below:
