BlueRayDick: I won't doubt this one bit! That bobrisky case has shown this and more is possible within Nigerian prison system. There's even an underground system whereby you pay miscreants and riffraff on the street figures as low as 500k, to serve your sentence for you |

Tochex101: Now imagine how it would be for the rich and powerful...... dem go dey carry olosho enter there sef. Justice forgive me but in Nigeria crime pays. Not only Olosho, the rich have full access to amenities like living rooms and WIFI. I remember Orji Uzor Kalu's short stint that year |

BlueRayDick: She served 5 years plus in jail, but like you rightly said she will probably spend it in the VIP wings. Who knows maybe they were allowing her to go out sef. The Nigerian correctional system is something else chief. I was in a abeokuta last year when I saw one of our guys who was sentenced to prison for macheting another man over APC LP disagreement. I was surprised when I saw the werey ordering isi ewu and drinks for us at the bar na hin I corner him brother ask am kilon sup? That one said he (prisoner) gets weekend passes whenever he likes and travels from Lagos to ogun to chop life then returns on Monday morning |

izzou: I doubt that too, but I guess maybe there's more we didn't know about. I also agree that it would have been easier to forge then.
Reminds me of a movie by Leonardo DiCaprio. His name was Frank something sha. Baba forged cheques, scammed airlines, even Olosho sef . The FBI had to employ him in the end.
And that was in the 70s and 80s 'Catch me if you can' the legend of Frank Abagnale |

BlueRayDick: That is what happens when they give someone like that such platforms. The organizers should've invited someone as musically versatile and cerebral as Saheed Osupa instead of Taye Currency. Currency is not worthy of the platform and he confirmed it with his yeye performance.
Imagine singing "weyrey la fin wo weyrey " at the coronation of a first class Oba like the Olubadan. Something that even hip-Hop and younger artistes like Olamide , Wizkid, Davido, etc won't do. And I learnt that Currency's son is in the Oyo state House of assembly as chief whip or something like that. Man wey get piking wey don old reach that level come dey sing rubbish for the Coronation ceremony. 'Werey la fin wo werey' Chai |

BlueRayDick: PENGASSAN will most likely picket Dangote Refinery premises and ground activities in conjunction with other sister trade unions.
If that fails, PENGASSAN and NUPENG may go on strike which will ground economic activities in the country.
All the multinationals and IOCs in the oil and gas sector like Shell, Total, Mobil, Oando, etc allowed union because it is the standard practise and it is in accordance with Labour laws. Dangote prohibiting unionism is just the usual big man impunity that Nigerian elites like to get away with.
Personally, I believe Dangote is trying to test the resolve if the unions and wants to appeal to public sympathy and sentiments in his favor to the detriment of the concerned staff.
Unfortunately if Dangote gets away with this, it will shape a lot of things as regards employees welfare going forward. Some foreign owned organizations will want to follow Dabgote's footsteps to hand their own staff the short end of the stick. If he gets away with it like you rightly pointed out then company staff are doomed, the private sector in Nigeria will be reshaped into a full blown vile monster and the staff will be the beasts' meal. PENGASSAN have already taken care of the emotional angle with the whole Indian employees thing so that one is in their favor, although I'm on X now reading one Sergio Ramos ranting about how the Indians and Nigerians are not equals and the pay disparity is not a disparity at all but the right thing to do. In his words 'We are a bad people, highly religious but very corrupt and immoral' |
