Celebrities / “who’s This” – Don Jazzy Makes Fun Of Ayra Starr For Joining The Long Skirt Gang by Kingzjayzee: 2:51am On Feb 08
In a recent social media post, Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy, the boss of Mavin Records, mocks Ayra Starr for joining the long skirt group.

The “Rush” crooner, Ayra Starr, who is well-known for her tiny attire, said today, February 7th, 2024, that she will henceforth be wearing long skirts.

The singer claims that her mother encouraged her to start wearing long skirts, which was the spark for her decision to do so.

Ayra Starr posted a video of herself dancing to her recently released song, “Commas,” while wearing a long skirt, demonstrating that she followed her mother’s instructions.

She wrote; “My mom said I should start wearing longer skirts 🤭 #ayerastarr."

However, the new video of Ayra Starr in the long skirt got many people talking as many said that the skirt was too long for her.

Don Jazzy, a music mogul, too joined the group of Nigerians mocking Ayra Starr for her long skirt.

Don Jazzy wrote; “Who this? 🤷🏾‍♂️.”

Many Nigerians are used to saying SORRY instead of EXCUSE ME and that can lead to a whole lot of unwarranted "SORRY" especially in an office with high verbal communication rate.

SORRY, where is the door
EXCUSE ME where is the door.

somebody dey sick, na 'excuse me' u go tell am abi na 'sorry'?

Career / Nigerian Lady Fired From New Job In Canada For Saying Sorry Too Much by Kingzjayzee: 3:07am On Feb 06
A Nigerian lady in the diaspora, @mmariaammx, has revealed she was fired from her care attendant job in Canada for saying sorry too often.

In what came as culture shock, the young lady said sorry is a default word in Nigeria but that is not the case in Canada.

In a TikTok video, she advised people to be ready to unlearn and relearn when emigrating to foreign countries, saying she has learnt her lesson.

She explained that she got a care attendant job as a side hustle as she already had a 9-5 work in Canada. On the first day of work, she noticed her employer had a health challenge that put her in pain daily and tried to be empathetic by always apologising.

@mmariaammx's employer called her to order, noting that the constant 'sorry' gets on her nerves. She refused to listen and this got her sacked days later.

Career / I’m Depressed, I Have Only N1.3million – Unemployed Man Laments by Kingzjayzee: 2:36am On Feb 06
A 31-year-old Nigerian man has cried out online that he’s battling depression due to being unemployed since he graduated from the university.

He, however, revealed that he has N1.3 million in his bank account but he still does not feel fulfilled because he’s been searching for job tirelessly without good result.

Taking to anonymous messaging platform, NGL, the man said most of the job offers he’s been seeing are the ones willing to pay N150,000 salary per month and he feels they are not tangible.

According to the distraught man, he has considered relocating to another country because it is hard succeeding in Nigeria, but making travel arrangement is also expensive.

In his words; “I am tired and depressed and jobless. I am a 31 year old man with only 1.3 Million Naira in my account. Being job hunting for a while but nothing tangible other than 150k job. It’s depressing making it here in Nigeria. Considered leaving the country but japa is very expensive.”
