Politics / Re: Third Term Agenda <Vote, Comments> by kinjhorghe(m): 11:46pm On Mar 16, 2006
African leaders have so much cultivated themselves into the habit of CHOP AND QUENCH IN OFFICE. They come into power either by rigging their way in or they forcefully take power and the very first word they utter from their mouths is that they have come to change the polity,to change morals, to alleviate the sufferings of the down trodden.

They accuse their predeccessors of corruption, mismanagement, indecipline and all the evils they have actually perpetuated. But before we have the chance to applaud them, they too starts to goof.

If we go back a bit into the political history of this great nation of ours(THE MOST POPULOUS BLACK NATION IN THE WORLD), we will notice a series right from Aguiyi Ironsi down to Abacha, when they forcefully came into power they all said they took over in order to restore morals and good governance to the country, but @ the end it was observed that they all tried but there was no sincerity of purpose,
@ a point in time they become power drunk, loose focus and begin to witchhunt perceived opposition with agencies of the state that are supposed to  be protecting the people, they kill tax payers with bullets bought with tax payers money.

However, some of these past leaders actually had good economic policies on paper but the implementation processes were faulty because there was no sincerity of purpose, and in Nigeria there is no continuity, imagine OBJ and his economic reform policies of today, they are working well, look @ our food & drug industry(DORA),Banking sector(Soludo),stock exchange(Ndi Okereke), Ribadu`s EFCC,Okonjo Iweala to mention but a few.
However after now what happens??

Therefore i would like to vote for the third term bid of Mr. President not because he is the best candidate for the job but because there is no TESTED and CREDIBLE person for the job yet, nigeria is not an organization like NNPC or a Laboratory where we test things out.

OBJ has been there for like 7yrs now and so far i can score him above average, even though he rigged his way in and will also rig in the next election IF,

Pls anyone who know`s the man that can move this country forward should pls mention the name of such a person and we shall all come out in mass and vote OBJ out of ASO ROCK, because we really need a change, we cannot continue with a one party rule.
           GOD HELP US.

Education / Re: Fate of a Graduate with 3rd Class in Nigeria by kinjhorghe(m): 12:47pm On Mar 16, 2006
Guy since nobody wants to give you a chance to prove your worth, i suggest you go for PGD after which you can then go ahead with your masters programme.
I`m tempted to believe you dont have the cash or your parents are not ready to pay your fees anymore. Take this piece of suggestion i have:Go to any northern school like Unijos, FUT minna, ATBU bauchi, BUK kano etc. PGD and MASTERS are affordable in these schools.
I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST IN YOUR FUTURE ENDEVOURS.

Abeg if you know say you no know wetin you go read for school, make you try to dey try by studying harder cos there is a great difference between being inteligent and being brilliant.

Career / Re: Are Nigerian 'Graduates' Really Graduates? by kinjhorghe(m): 11:53am On Mar 16, 2006
undecided embarassed   Most of our graduates these days are candidly not fit to be addressed as such, imagine a situation whereby someone who has a second class upper(2:1) cannot even define the course they read in school, he cant read or even write a simple application letter not to mention the fact that he cant communicate in english fluently(though not our mother tongue). grin

I have met graduates who has a 3rd class and they are much more intellectually and logically better than others i have also met who has a 2:1.
In summary i conclude that most of these guys who were awarded 3rd class or 2:2 has more to offer when employed because i believe they would want to prove to their employers that they can deliver too and that :

Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: A Ghanian Girl In Need Of A Nigerian Man by kinjhorghe(m): 5:30am On Mar 15, 2006
pls whats this all about??
Why do u need a nigerian guy? are there no more men in Ghana, anyway if thats what you really want then tell me who u are and what u do, then i`ll give it serious thought cos i`m strongly thinking of moving to Ghana so i can start a business out there since there are no jobs here in nigeria. I read Mechanical Engineering, probably i`ll put my skills to work in Ghana to bring about reengineering and everybody will be happy thereafter
Travel / The Government And The Oil Companies Have Been Greedy In The Nigerdelta by kinjhorghe(m): 3:53am On Mar 15, 2006
It sadens my heart when i behold what the youths in the NigerDelta has been forced to become. I lay all the blames on the govt and the oil companies operating there, imagine a situation where applicants are being asked for unimagineble years of experience. HOW does one gain experience without being given the opportunity ?   sad  That is just an excuse to employ the old thieves and their so called expatriates. The govt on their own part shout over the loud speakers that they give derivations and allocations to the governors in the south-south knowing fully well that public servants in this country are all corrupt with a few exception of people like Dora. Why not provide the basic amenities as Federal govt projects, for example, provide portable water, tar major roads, build low cost estates, build good classrooms. It is a gradual process,if the govt had wanted to do these things they would have been able to achieve these and more in the past 7years but no they have been too busy enriching themselves at the expense of the geese that lays the golden egg.
Now the boys have decided to take their birth rights by force, though not a very nice approach but they are out in full force. God help us all if dialogue is not embraced. Pls  add ur comments.
