Am amazed op put engineering ahead of medicine. Nobody does dat. D most respected and d hardest field globally is medicine n surgery. Dere must b a reason admission into med skul is so hard. Dey seive o level students to get d best out of dem. There is a reason med students spend an avrg of 7 yrs in skul, dere must surely b a reason why med skul is not usually located in d same campus wt other faculties n depts,. Op dere mst b a reason y med students hostels re separated from odas.dere mst surely b a reason for d massive withdrawal of students from med skul evn after spending 4 to 5 yrs dere. Op hop u kno d guys don't go n breaks lik ur engine guys. Hop u also kno dat med students do mor exams dan any other studnts.op do u also kno dat dere re more Dan 6 depts in wh dere curriculum re embedded in med skul curriculum.op do u kno dat if u Ve nt graduated from med skul yur heart kps pumping evn at 600lvl. Many at times nigerian medical doctors are so much hated and lambasted especialli by d allied health professionals i.e d nurses physiotherapists lab technicians pharmacists etc. Any slight opportunity dZ category of pple re usually at d forefront to batter d doctors. Wot cud b causin dis much beef in d health sector?

Peaceworld: Why is it that whenever there's an argument on this issue, the doctors here keep telling their opponents to go study medicine if they want to have something? This is blind, if you ask me...I never for once wanted to study medicine. I chose Physiotherapy from the get go. And it's also a sad development. What this means is that most of the doctors here feel that others in the health sector are scums who dropped out from medicine. Any sane human being should stop saying this here. It saddens me, really.

Dey are doing fine. Go to private hospitals, a nurse can man a hospital without the doc, she can handle any emergency, send for tests , prescribe drugs, treat and discharge ! The doc only makes occassional appearances. Ur relevance in govt hospitals is just out of due process so please wake up from ur slumber, u guys re just ignorant douche bags and ur proud heads are just atomic bombs waiting to xplode till u get some reasoning into ur calcified skulls. U cannot do anything without d members of JOHESU take it or leave it, u can ask my grandma in d village. Even she knows that.
