I have a visa USA B1 and I got it based in the fact that am going to the USA for training but I couldn't go for some reason, but now am ready to go and am also pregnant. Do I mail the embassy about the pregnant status now or I just travel because I plan to deliver there too after my training.

One of them doesn't cover medical, either B1 or B2. Find out which it is. If it's B1 that doesn't cover medical, you can't mail the embassy, you would need a B2 or b1/b2. If it's B2 that doesn't cover, meaning your b1 does, you can send them a letter, they may respond with the usual response, decide to cancel the visa or they may call you up for a chat. In that cause, have all your documents.
If you can use the visa for the purpose you got it, before childbirth. That would be your best bet.

I am thinking hard to reconcile or not just for the child sake. but so far my in laws highly incorporative. they are not even telling my the insurance company name. That making me more doubtful. They can go ahead without your consent. You know that right ? single women dont get consent from anyone. If she does, Your name won't be on the child's record. You have to do everything possible to offset that bill. Everything for your child's sake..

To be honest I wasn't aware that my wife used insurance for delivery until I asked for receipts.
Suppose I got separation later on, will they ask for receipts for my later visas too. can they still block my further visas. Can I prove someway that I wasn't involve in this process.
Can I cancel my current 6 months visa and along with that share my awful story.
Before delivery my plan was always to pay by cash not delivery.
Actually I intend to go for my post graduate studies after 2-3 years will this affect my visa.

Why do you want to abandon your wife and child, after she carried the baby for 9 months and gave birth? Why do you want to prove that you wer not involved? What do you want her to do? Her baby can do the test in Nigeria, it must not be in the US.( or better still, let the hospital tell her the amount before carrying out the test) lets be sensitive when we reply peoples post. haba... she has a right to decline, people decline hearing test, decline vaccines in the US, decline many things. Its her baby, her health,and her money...

It is, but na so some people dai migrate,wife go first then husband , lmao, No mind me, husband here is a good tie to home country. I am not a VO, and I haven't even gone to US to birth before, I just dai try help. 4500 total is very good. It's about what we all got in different states.

That is what the VO 's want to see my brother.It may boost her chances, but staying with your brother isn't illegal @ all. OK, lets do it this way, show that you can afford hospital, flight ,emergency and miscellaneous bills and also still have enough in your account. That way, the VO would say your going to California cos you have someone they not cost you can't afford accommodation else where. Bear in mind that when you say you are going to pay for somewhere to stay, it shows that this one must come back, abi? Lol. Dunno again o, head done block...

I think you should just weigh your options. If the cost of hospital in california will be almost same with cost of hospital plus accommodation in the less affordable states, I think you can just go ahead and use california for interview. But if the.cost of hospital plus accommodation in the affordable states is still lower than cost in california excluding accommodation, I also think you should use the other states.

I Thought we were trying to remove his brother from the picture for now. Ahaika23, if you Use California for interview , you would still have to add accommodation to hospital in California. Not that staying with your brother is a crime as such, we are just trying to make them believe you can take care of everything, but just as @gracydee said, weight your options.

One more thing, don't say she is going to California, use a hospital in an affordable state. When you get the visa you can go to California and have the baby. That isn't a crime , as far as you pay your bills.

@zeezahbee, this is the exact same thing I told him, his brother should send him the cash, den he slowly lodge the money in his account. 300 today 500 next week, till its up to what you need. package what you do properly, so that it won't also look like you borrowed money for interview.

Your brother should in addition to writing the letter of invite/sponsor, should include his statement of account, info page of his U.S. passport, pay stub, mortgage papers with or without letter of introduction frfamily. his place of work. Things to show he's capable of hosting her and paying her bills.
In terms of hospitals in LA, you see Cali is the most expensive state in the U.S.... Look up or pm Mama Tobenna, she's headed to LA and she can discuss the offer she got there.

$4000 won't cover oh. Bear in mind that the dollar rate is high right now.It depends on what you present. If you present bill of 8k and show statement of 4k.... am sure I need not say more.

It may not be a good idea, the VO expect that for you to go and give birth in the States, YOU should be able to foot your bills, but you can't rely on this information, I am not a 100% sure.

Maybe your brother can transfer money to you that you would slowly lodge in your account , so your statement has enough money to foot her bills? That has to depend on what you do to, so it doesn't look suspicious.
