MamaTobenna: thanks Phema and kizluv. When labor starts, will they allow one to wait a bit in the hospital lounge while labor is progressing before checking patient in. I am asking this cos you know the way they do packages where u cant be on admission for more than a particular number of hours or else , you may have to pay extra. What I know is, they would try to go over the phone with you, ask questions l, about your contractions ans try to be sure it is true labour before they ask you to come to the hospital. I wouldn't know much dear, lemme include this to my question sheet for the doc. Sorry I can't be of much help... |

MamaTobenna: Abeg what kinda freebies do the hospitals give when u have your baby Are they really freebies, or included in your bill. It depends on the hospital, one friend of mine said she got breast pump, books n CD's, baby formula, Extra Baby clothings (caps, mittens, socks and flannels, another friend of mine got a cheap car seat (but what is $20 compared to 5k+ she payed )but ask if they are to be paid for . Someone I know had a baby in Maryland through CS, the nurses came and asked if she wanted assisted every night , for 3 nights , after everything she had an extra $600 bill for overnight care for baby. |

I've noticed that the hospitals don't have email addresses and even the doctor i want to use (New jersey). Is there any special website that provides these kind of information cus even when i called one of the hospitals, the receptionist said he doesn't know the email address of the hospital or even the doctors. please help. thanks They usually depend on fax. I wonder why, my sister in law has to get my correspondence through fax , scan them, and attach them in a mail and send to me so I can print and add to my burden of proof *phew*. Maybe you should call back and ask if they would atleast fax what you need down to you? Sorry I am not of much help... |

Pleases is there any disadvantage of going through this route instead of the usuall intown suites et al. Craigslist is no go area, one time it was known to be associated with serial killers, avoid it at all cost no matter how cheap. Maybe Google stories about it... |

I would be grateful if i get prompt response. Thank u Every hospital/doctor is different, some would accept some/all your test from Nigeria , others won't accept any test done by even a laboratory in the states that they ain't affiliate with. Try and contact them to get a list of test they would accept so you don't have to waste money here, only to be told to do the test again in US. |

Of course that makes the difference, he is her husband, so his money is as good as hers, she doesn't need to show her own bank account because her husband's bank statement is good enough for the project as a sponsor.
You made it sound as if she went with 500K for everything and was given a visa which is not true. WHAT!! justwise, before you carry knife and dagger why dont you read what I wrote well. I said I didn't have up to 500k In my account when I applied and the VO didn't ask me for my statement. When did I say I used 500k (or anyone used 500k)to apply!!!!! , are you for real?. I was only telling him that there is no need to start transferring 5M up and down, his statement is just as good. I don't come here to form stories. When I mentioned 500k, I said ME. How did you turn that post to the post concerning my friend. SMH |
