So its been a long time coming, very busy year doing research(quick updates on 1 of the projects i've been working on). I fell in love with the concept of vertical/urban farming from the first day i learnt about it (thanks pavore9 for hooking me up with my first bag), have been thinking of a way to increase the efficiency of the process. Which led to the marrying of two of my 1st loves, tech and agriculture. Thankfully a more efficient process might just be brewing in the brain lab(no more excuse, you can now farm on your wall).Almost everyone now wants to be aware of how and where their veggies are being grown, i have always had the opinion that we need to greatly improve our technological processes here in Africa if we really want to take agriculture to the next level. Much thanks to Rick, months of research work and prototyping we would be collaborating on doing further test runs of our urban vertical farm/garden concept in Q1 2017, since the urban dweller has refused to go the the rural area to farm we have decided to bring the farm to the urban dweller (lets see how much sexiness we can put back into farming). this isn't definitely going to solve all our agri challenges but it is a small minute step in in that direction. Easy, affordable, automated, technologically driven urban/vertical farming(modular, can be packed and moved to another location easily) systems with the capability of growing our everyday greens i.e lettuce, spinach, chinese cabbage, basil, parsley, strawberries, chilies etc closest to the consumer. This could serve as indoor, office and greenhouse urban/vertical farm units. Will update as Q1 2017 testing starts. Attached are pix, please drop your comments, suggestions below

Typical of Nigerian Police force. A police PRO that cannot distinguish btw pellets wounds and sharpnel wounds originating from shattered glass. Of all three pictures posted you chose only one but ignored the other two that had single shot holes on the chair and the one that exited from the back door(single gun shot exit hole) or have pellets now started having single exit holes? this is just appaling! |
