Whats the most profitable thing to grow in Lagos, specifically in Ikorodu........preferably something that does not require high maintenance.

I have a plot of land there, and rather than allow it lie fallow and waste again this coming year, i'm thinking of planting something there to keep it occupied and away from the eyes of fraudulent land sellers.

However, i have a full time job in mainland Lagos that keeps me fully occupied, so i'll have to outsource most of the daily running of the farm.
So, i'll really prefer something that will require minimal maintenance and supervision if possible.
Any suggestions?

One aspect of agriculture dat is not too detailed is d marketing aspect, I believe to a large extent dat agriculture is a gud venture to invest in without much loss(if there would b) but wen u don't know where to sell to,then one is kept in between, soybeans is abundant where I'm presently, infact I have a small soybeans farm but where to sell it to, to make gud money is d problem cos it's in abundance here to make reasonable profit

Please i have like two acres thats lying empty and i also have plenty of time as i have nothing doing. I just need seeds and am wondering if i can water it manually since i dont have money for irigation now? And must i use manure? My land is quite fertile. I just want to di sinething wt the time i hav to gain some experience before i get investors.
