Pls I need explicit replies to my predicaments;

1) Does it means that everytime I move out of the country then have used a page on the passport i.e I have to travel 32 times to exaust the 32 pages passport within its stipulated yrs?
How many pages do I use to and fro on a travrl?

2) As regards how herculean the renewal process is, do u suggest going for the 10yrs passport @70k? What do u say about the price? What if the prices of passports soar in coming yrs as we've seen for this?
If we have people that opt for it, kindly state ur reasons.

The usage of ur passport pages depends on the stamps from immigration. Ur passport bears visas and also stamp for visa extension so it depends on how the immigration office both home and abroad helped u with stamps on it.

If you're not a frequent traveller just jejely collect the 32pages passport and don't stress urself

Abeokuta is a nice place, I applied for renewal of passport last two weeks and was asked to come for capturing on 1st of July but when I went to submit my documents last week the man in servicom changed my capturing date bringing it forward. I was not asked for NIN even I didn't write any letter. The officers are very nice and accommodating and ready to help. Will be going for capturing on Tuesday. Hopefully the ppt comes out earlier than schedule

The Port Harcourt immigration office are frustrating.

My interview date was today.

I got there and was asked to submit the file upstairs and go

They said that I can't be interviewed today without any reason.

I don't even understand the whole process anymore.

I don't know whether to regret this online DIY method I used or what.

What was your experience if you did at Port Harcourt office.

This is for renewal not fresh.

And why do they need my old original passport?

You supposed to have submitted your docs a week or some days to your interview date for proper and easy processing of your capturing. But since things are like this I will advice you check back tommorow.

So I planned to share my experience from Abeokuta with you guys.

Yesterday was my capture date, got there with all the required docs and went straight to the servicom desk.

I was told some docs were missing but not to worry the lady there explained what was missing.

1. There are 2 particular forms that you need to get from them and fill (note: I have heard some places would tell you to get this online if they notice you did DIY)

2. You need 2 printout of the payment page

3. You need to go with your old passport if it's renewal.

The most important stuff is, go to the center to submit your documents days ahead of your interview. This would help you from getting delayed.

Abeokuta is cool thou. Quick service and lots of folks willing to help without expecting cash from you.

Lots of passport are also available for collection, saw lots of passport yesterday.

I think there is another office that handles that. Not immigration
