Multichoice is not paying me anything and if the right things are done in the right proportion we won't be having this convo. christinme224: Maybe you are An Employee of Multichoice or it's agent ... I'm none of the above. Did you hear that a Spanish businessman who invested about #54million dollars in kebbi state for tomato production ran for his life. There are a lot factors affecting businesses and that's what we should be looking into. |
TV/Movies › Re: Tribunal Stops Multichoice From Increasing Tariffs by Klington: 3:39pm On Mar 31, 2022 |
lexy2014: yes cost of business is rising and its important to be sympathetic with these companies. but are salaries increasing as cost of living is increasing? or are consumers immuned from buahris failure? lets look at pure water. any little issue, they go on strike, cause artificial scarcity and increase price. their reason is cost of production. looking at it objectively, what exactly is the cost that goes into production of pure water. they usually say cost of nylon. are they the only ones that use nylon? beverage companies use more expensive materials and more complex and expensive designs on their packaging yet they dont increase prices like pure water. so sometimes, the govt has to wade in with price control to stem some arbitrary price increases which are exploitative I love your analysis but there things you need understand about the price increase. Like the pure water you mentioned, do you know that they use diesel/petrol aside other materials and the price of diesel is about #800/lit. I don't want to start mentioning other factors affecting businesses. Some of the nylons they use among other things are imported and you know how much exchange rate is today. It's not about govt controlling prices because you can't control what you don't have in the first instance. |
