DO YOU AGREE!! Prophet TB Joshua’s Corpse Is Not Supposed To Be Buried In The Ground But Preserved Forever (See Why) Indeed, death is inevitable and a respecter of no man regardless of your personality in the society. The leader and founder of Synagogue, Church of All Nations, a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos state Nigeria, who died on 5 June 2021 after one of his evening services, just one week prior to his 58th birthday, has been laid to rest today Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as Prophet TB Joshua was a charismatic pastor, televangelist, and one of the greatest philanthropists on earth. They shouldn’t have buried him in the ground, but preserve his corpse “CRYONICALLY” or with a different method. Considering the calibre of his person. I believe the SCOAN management can afford it, they’re rich after all. Cryonics method is often used for people who are brain dead. It is the process of being frozen. By freezing the body, it is believed that the person could one day be revived through an advance technology. Cryogenic freezing is the method of being frozen without damaging tissue. In Roman Catholicism, if a body is judged as incorruptible after death, this is most often seen as a sign that the individual is a saint. Canon law allows inspection of the body so that relics can be taken and sent to Rome. You never can tell, TBJ might fall into the incorruptible category. For instance, Elizabeth of Aragon, a Spanish princess turned Portuguese queen turned Roman Catholic saint, has been dead for 680 years, but her hand and presumably, the rest of her body remains impervious to the effects of decomposition. Anyways, may the soul of the dead rest in peace. |

Dear Nigerians, Recently, the Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Chris Ngige was interviewed on Channels TV, and from what he said, the Igbo’s are not being treated fairly in Nigeria as far as Politics is concerned. According to him, Igbo might never be considered to rule this Country or given the opportunity to ever hold any important role in the Government of Nigeria. The Igbos are not happy about this You said Nigeria is for all of us but yet you kept on sidelining the region and yet you want them to stay? The fear that Biafra might emerge if an Igbo man rule The fear of the Nigerian Government is that the breakout request might eventually be granted if Igbo gets into power which might eventually lead to another Civil war that will be deadlier than what was experienced in the year 1967 led by the late Odumegwu Ojukwu. This reason (Igbos might break out of Nigeria) is the main/major reason why the Nigerian Government is not considering the region to Govern the Country. I can continue talking about this issue because it’s becoming annoying already and even as a Yoruba man, I can’t stand it again. The Igbos are feeling Neglected The Igbos are feeling too neglected and this is the reason why they wanted Biafra and instead of them to be considered gradually, the Nigerian political caucus felt it’s better to leave them out of important political appointments. The genesis of “BIAFRA”… The idea of Biafra came to Ojukwu’s mind when he felt the region was neglected while the then Government focus heavily on the North when it comes to appointments in the Army and in the whole Government settings. Ojukwu felt it and he decided to leave Nigeria to create Biafra but was stopped which lead to the Civil war that shocked the entire Nation between July 1967 – January 1970. Thank you for going through this piece. Now, we have a very important question to ask you all |
When Rema came in 2019, the first thing people accused the young boy of was being a Wizkid clone. But it didn’t stop there. It went further (obviously), as some people asserted that Rema may, as a matter of fact, be a fresher and thus, better version of Wizkid. At the time, it was crazy to even say something like that based on a few songs from an EP. You do not become Wizkid by just sounding like the Starboy on two songs. Plus, in the past, a lot of artists have sounded like Wizkid. Some were even able to clone the guy perfectly. But none of them could really do what Wizkid was doing, so they were always going to be in the shadows. It was that same shadow that influencers tried so hard to place Rema. It worked for a while. He got the buzz he wanted, he made two commercially successful EP’s within a year and even won the most decorated Next Rated award at The Headies. He did all of that within the same year (2019) and this has attracted wide appraisals from industry heads. It has also heightened the Wizkid comparisons. But right now, the whole thing just feels forced. Wizkid Is In His Own League Wizkid has dropped some of the best albums that have ever been released in Africa, and Rema, well, we just have to wait and see what the future holds for him. Talent-wise, is there really any new kid on the block that comes close to Wizkid? The 2011 Wizkid that dropped “Superstar” was a beast, and in 2014 when he did “Ayo” Wizkid was on a rampage. His 2017 international strides with “Sounds From The Other Side” are still unmatched. And now, this guy just did one of the best albums of the decade, “Made in Lagos.” Wizkid is setting records on the Billboard, selling out Canada and US venues, setting streaming records on Spotify and disrupting the industry. Even right now, it would be a disrespect to mention artists like Tekno and Reekado Banks in the same sentence as Wizkid. So, who is Rema and why are there all these talks about him being as great as 2011 Wizkid. I’ve even seen people compare his unreleased album to the classic “Superstar.” I think that’s a lot of disrespect. What Are Your Thoughts |

2Face is easily one of the Greatest musicians in Africa ever. Though, there’s like a decade difference between them, Olamide is one of the greats too. When it comes to hits, these guys have been delivering for many many years — and they haven’t stopped. It’s a fact you cannot list the five artists with the most hits in the Nigerian music industry and not add both 2face and Olamide. Monumental. 2Face 2Face — or 2Baba, as he’s referred to as now — has been dropping hits since the early 2000s, when some of the artists that are hot now were not even born yet. He started off as a member of the Plantashun Boyz trio alongside Faze and Blackface. After making a number of hits in the group, he started his solo career, releasing his debut “Face 2 Face” in 2004. He did a number of albums while signed to Kennis Music including his highly regarded classic, “Grass 2 Grace,” released in 2006. Since then, he’s done other albums and countless hits. His last studio album, “Warriors” came last year and he even had a hit, “Opo” with WizKid. A decade and half later, and the man is still making hits! Olamide Everything there is to be said about Olamide has been said, really. The man is a legend. The singer-rapper emerged on the scene in the early 2010s with his Rapsodi album, which had hits like “Eni Duro” and “Omo To Shan” with WizKid. The next year, he left his label and started his own imprint, YBNL, also releasing his second album. Then, for seven years straight, Olamide dropped at least one studio album per year, making numerous hits along the way. His last release, “UY Scuti” came weeks ago. “Rock,” from the LP, is one of his best songs ever. 2Baba VS Olamide African Queen / Melo Melo Implication / Durosoke E Be Like Say / Eni Duro 4 Instance / First Of All Only Me / Triumphant Raindrops / Stupid Love Oya Come Make We Go / Infinity Ihe Neme / Owo Blow Ole / Yemi My Lover If Love Is A Crime / Criteria Opo ft. But if this was to be a hits battle of 20 rounds and this was the list, who wins? |
Like we all know, nobody is immune to being served with jail terms especially when found guilty of any crime. Some of your favourite celebrities have at some point gotten themselves in trouble with the law. For some, their status in society couldn’t save them, while for others, it was more like being at the wrong place at the wrong time. We will be sharing with you five celebrities who have done jail term for the crimes they committed. 1. Sinzu Babalola Falemi popularly known as Sauce Kid and Sinzu was one of the biggest and promising rappers in the early 2010s. His career was one which critics and fans followed with interest because of the style of his sounds. Every song he featured and released at his prime was a monster hit. In 2016, the gist began to spread that Sinzu had been arrested for grand theft and other related offenses. The rapper was accused of stealing bank card numbers and identifying information of their owners. He allegedly stole $15,388 from the unsuspecting victims. In 2018, the rapper was released from prison and went on to sign to a record label deal with Davido’s DMW. 2. Ibinabo Fiberesima For a lot of people who do not know, Ibinabo Fiberesima was a beauty pageant queen. She had won several beauty pageantries before taking part in Miss Nigeria in 1991 where she emerged the first runner up. She went on to become a very popular movie star. Fiberesima’s Nollywood career got a major shake in 2006 when she was arrested for accidentally killing a medical doctor, Giwa Suraj. The actress was charged for manslaughter and reckless driving. In 2016, she was sentenced to five years in prison by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos. She was however granted bail in the sum of N2 million and two sureties in like sum same year by a Court of Appeal in Lagos pending the determination of her appeal at the Supreme Court. 3. Dammy Krane Dammy Krane was one of the promising singers a few years ago. After signing to music icon, 2Face Idibia’s Hypertek Records, it was assumed a new star was born. That wasn’t the case as the singer was always getting himself in trouble and the media was having a full of it. The straw that broke the camel’s back for Dammy Krane’s larger than life character was in 2017 when an American jet company, Tapjets, accused the singer of using five different credit cards that did not belong to him while trying to book a private jet with them. He was arrested and sent to jail for theft, credit card scam, and fraud. He was released from jail in Miami after meeting his bail conditions, set at $7,500, after pleading not guilty to the charges and demanded a trial by jury. 4. Naira Marley One of the biggest singers in Nigeria at the moment is Naira Marley. The singer has in the last two years went from a relatively unknown singer to the biggest singer in Nigeria in weeks. However, this hasn’t come without a lot of drama. In May 2019, Naira Marley was arrested by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over internet fraud. His arraignment for a long time, will go as the most televised and talked about in the Nigerian pop culture tales. The court premises were filled with security details and fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of the singer. He was remanded in prison custody and later got bailed after appearing in court for the second time. 5. Uche Odoputa In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Uche Odoputa was one of the biggest actors in Nollywood. He was a regular face in many critically acclaimed movies. For many, he was going to be of those actors who would evolve with the industry with time. It didn’t take long before it became apparent that Odoputa was no missing in action. He was no longer seen in movie productions. For some maybe he was taking a break or getting involved behind the scenes. That wasn’t the case however as the movie star was cooling off in jail. Odoputa was arrested with cocaine at the international airport in Lagos, in 2007. He was sentenced to eight months in prison. He is however back and better. |
