Politics20 Sharp Shooters Per Local Government Would Eradicate Bandits??? by KnowAll(op): 11:22am On Aug 20, 2024
Well kitted snipper driven police enclosed in a armoured vechile would put an end to banditry in Nigeria. How come there is no banditry in USA . That is because you have the SWAT team. They would liquidate anyone that holds arms in seconds.

We are not ready to fight banditry in Nigeria. When we are ready make Una wake me up. Because for now we are dancing round the questionhuh

Abi I lie🤔

Yes I agree but what I'm saying is they'll start these ones when they complete the coastal highway to fraud and finish frustrating Dangote
Dangote is not a saint. Emefiele should be giving his freedom as long as he spills the beans of what transpired between the CBN , FG & NNPC with regards to funding of that refinery. Without that I would have no sympathy for Dangote.

You are asking as if you were born yesterday. Years ago when I travelled from Lagos to Abuja by road, some parts of the road weren't motorable. Before you talk about building expensive infrastructure like railways, Nigeria should be able to fix basic infrastructure like federal roads.
They can’t fix the road. The roads would be done in peace meal.

To be precise comprehensive railways road plans.

Maiduguri to Abuja fast train through jos

Sokoto to Abuja fast train through Minna

Kano to Abuja fast train through Kaduna

Then from

Abuja to Lagos through Ibadan

Abuja to Warri through Kogi

Abuja to Poe harcourt through Enugu & Benue

If we can do this projects then we have nothing to worry about.
PoliticsWhy Don’t We Have A Fast Train From Lagos To Abuja??? by KnowAll(op):
Just saw the Dar es salaam to Dodoma fast train on you tube. Beautiful it is a wonder. This kind of project would definitely kill the aviation industry may be that is why we do not have it at the moment. But I think it would be a beautiful investment for Nigeria.

What are your takes guy. 🤔

That stupid idea where some ideoooot would come and sit in the presidency and do nothing for six years because they want some geographical zone to be president would not fly. A good president is good for all Nigerians across boards.

Whether you support it or not, Tinubu is OTP.
Of course if he fails in his first term he does not deserve a second term.? But if he delivers then he deserves a second because his projects and development would speak for him.

What I hate is an enshrined one term tenure in our constitution.

The stupidity idea of a one term presidency enshrined in our constitution is dead on arrival.
PoliticsI Will Never Support A One Term Presidency??? It Does Not Make Sense??? by KnowAll(op):
If you have done well, you have the right to re-contest so ascertain your credibility. A two term president would have motivation to push through the boundaries just to get that second term ticket.

Even though most Executives in Nigeria when they secure a second term they tend to slow down their pace of development but that is no reason to throw the baby and bath tub away.

I believe as in our every day life if you have done well you should be promoted and when you done a very good job as an Executive you deserve a second chance.
PoliticsRe: Why Can’t State Governments Invest In Oil Wells by KnowAll(op): 3:08pm On Aug 13, 2024
mrvitalis:
It takes 500 million dollars to 30 billion to develop a well to production stage
Most states can afford that. El Rufai took a loan of $500 million dollars what did he do with it. If he invested in an oil well on behalf of Kaduna state now he would be getting the returns & the FG would also get some returns so would the 35 other states & Abuja.
PoliticsRe: Why Can’t State Governments Invest In Oil Wells by KnowAll(op): 12:23pm On Aug 13, 2024
Ikaeniyan0:
The oil in Ondo state belong to Nigeria, not Ondo state
If I invest 5.00 Naira on the productivity of something that is lying idle because the FG does not have d money. When it comes to fusion, I would take my 5.00 Naira back plus interest let us assume 2.00 Naira, all other revenues from my ventures would now be passed to the FG for distribution to the 36 states and Abuja.

The question is why are states not doing this kind of investment. Because it does not make sense for oil wells to be lying idle when states can invest in such assets.
PoliticsWhy Can’t State Governments Invest In Oil Wells by KnowAll(op): 11:33am On Aug 13, 2024
Why can’t a state like Ondo State my state in invest in new oil wells. Instead of waiting for the FG to open up new oil wells why not state with the help of International organisations like shell explore opening up new oil wells.

Even though oil is in the exclusive list, states can borrow international funds open up new oil wells and get back their investment plus a top up and the rest be given to the FG for onward distribution to the other states in d federation.

Because it is embarrassing that we have idle oil wells and cannot supply our refineries. Look what Dangote Refinery is going through.

I am sure it would be a win-win for every body. 🤔

Akwa ibom state despite her wealth all you see on their roads are keke and okada plying their beautiful roads. I think they need to empower their people so that they can buy proper vehicles like mini buses & small cars instead of those ugly look moving automobiles.

When I look at the towns cities of Southern African countries I don’t see this ugly keke and okada’s.

There is something seriously wrong with Nigeria.

Sowere - not particularly new being around but has failed 3 times & probably 2 radical for the conservative politician. Being Yoruba E be like say Yoruba has her fair turn, abi I lie.

El Buba- we need hard a talker like him who I see a new kid on the block , perhaps Sowere can run under him as a vice player.

Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim - The Kogi born energy expert, the man knows his onions when it comes to energy or power NEPA. I am still baffled why d government has not invited him as a consultant.

Loud mouth Kenneth Okwonkon - You all know him does not need introduction, not sure atimes when I see him talk on national issues whether he was acting or for real . He is an eloquent propagandist.

Slow frail, nervous Obi- you all know Obi no need to sell him.

Give me new names so that we can support them well before 2027

Thanks

She na spelling we want chop, we need a functional country, can you imagine all those beautiful cities in Nigeria interconnected by rail. That would be el- dorado . In fact I am ready to support any forward thinking Nigerian. El buba from Borno State is another good Nigerian from North East Nigeria. That man is an inspiration. We need many people of such minds throwing their hats in the ring.

Sladem05:
True but I still think it’s irrelevant as to whom have more hotels because that has nothing to do with GDP.

What’s the point of having hotels that are mostly empty and a non-existent tourist industry.

Nigeria is nowhere to be found on that tourist list. The only people visiting Nigeria are those in the diaspora. Otherwise, wtf would want to come to a country like that?

https://www.statista.com/statistics/261740/countries-in-africa-ranked-by-international-tourist-arrivals/

The reality is that the country’s GDP has halved not what you and the economist with 2 brain among eachother have said. IMF puts the GDP at around $250 billion.
The tourist in Nigeria are Nigerians in diaspora and a few millions come home every year with their dollars, pounds and Euros. And most stay in many of these hotels knowing there is no power in the country and any kind of moderate comfort can be got in this hotels.

Is it because you don’t see oyinbo’s trooping to Nigeria that u think there is no tourist in Nigeria. I once traveled to Namibia & d plane was 99% Germans going to Namibia. And I said to my fellow traveler a Black Namibian, your people don’t travel. I said if it was a flight to Nigeria it would be 99% blacks.

You were making sense until you got to the emboldened. After hijacking it, he will use his blokkos to fund his election 😂😂😂 Obi had to practically tour the world to solicit for funds for prosecuting his campaigns. Una think say presidential election na beans.

Listen, any politican who doesn't have the financial capacity and power to prevent politicians from rewriting the results cannot win presidential elections in Nigeria.

Nigeria is a country with selective justice. Wike rewrote the will of the people in Rivers State and he is a minister now. Since Wike did that without consequences, APC will do worse things in 2027.

The only way to stop them is for the opposition to join forces and protect their votes. That's because the Supreme Court is utterly useless - anything that INEC declares during presidential elections, the judges will validate it and give their nonsensical reasons.
Don’t you think that loud mouth actor want to do, hijacker’s the Labour Party with himself not really having the pedigree. He is just a loud mouth pompous critic.

Peter Obi tried and failed in Anambra. We still have the record to show this. Obi's record as state Governor dey as mediocre as that of Tinubu. We also have records to prove that Atiku and Kwawanso are unqualified for the role of presidency. It makes more sense to hire a novice than to hire proven mediocres, don't you think? undecided

I am not even advocating for the OP's choice;what I am vehemently against is the recycling of failures and/or criminals who only grace is granted them by their running to the Nigerian courts for salvation. undecided
The list Obi could have done is make Anambra state a mini Rwanda, good sustainable development. But he did what all those fools are doing.

Sowore was one of those that brought in Buhari. I don't think his judgement is tight.

We have had enough of all these simplistic reasons for being considered a material for the presidency. I remember the same argument was put forward for Buhari. We all were told how Buhari will get rid of corruption and corrupt people. Enough of that bullsh!t

Peter Obi is the right man for this job
Obi gets to the finish line but could not really grab it. Someone else need that momentum from now until 2027 so that by d time we are going for election the whole world would know it is a foregone conclusions.

Who investigated Obi on the Pandora papers. Obi brought Anambra state out of dungeon during his 8 years reign. No governor has outperformed him in Anambra state. We know how Anambra was when he began to rule and how it was when he handed over.
Obi is weak. Can you remember Neville Chamberlain who signed a pact with Germany in 1939 that war would not break out with Britain only for Germany to start the invasion the very next day.

He has never been investigated nor docked on any matter relating to corruption. Peter Obi is Nigeria best bet. Tribalism will kill Nigeria if Nigerians fail to act against it.

Tinubu was almost dragged in the neck to speak to the nation yet a younger more agile would formulate ideas off the cuff without thinking too much about and those idea would fly. Because in most cases they are common senscical
