Politics / Re- Presidential Yatch. As Long As The President Travels From Bari To Bonny?? by KnowAll(m): 10:58am On Nov 02, 2023
As long as the president takes a holiday journey from Baro port in Niger state to Bonny Island in Ricer once a year in other to encourage Nigerians to travel by boat instead of travelling by road I don’t have a problem with the yatch.

What do u think.
Politics / Re: Rufai Oseni Clashed With APC guest On Arise TV Morning Show. by KnowAll(m): 2:55pm On Oct 30, 2023
It is a cruise by Arise TV. This is the second time this man would have a clash with Rufai.

Clearly Arise TV knew those 2 would have a clash, a man that greeted both Abati and Mrs Ese, but did not recognise Rufai when d interview started.

Arise want a million hits on you tube. Rufai has not asked any serious questions the man started barking like a dog. To me it looks like it was planned.
Politics / Re: Scrap Position Of Governor & Make 109 Senators Take Charge??? by KnowAll(m): 5:53am On Oct 28, 2023
The 2 biggest killers in our democracy the Governors & the Senators are taking out in one swoop they’re by saving the nation a lot resources.

The House of Representatives would in charge of what d current Senators are doing.

There would be no time limit on Senators running their districts as it is with Governors who can run for only 2 terms.

This would enable benevolent administrators continue what they are doing.

Even though there would be no tenure limit there should be a cap on age which would be 80 years and above. Once you attain that age you would not be able to run again.
Politics / Scrap Position Of Governor & Make 109 Senators Take Charge??? by KnowAll(m): 5:30am On Oct 28, 2023
That means allocations would be distributed amongst 109 senatorial districts. This would bring faster development to the grassroots.

The House of Representatives would take up most of d functions of the previous senator.

Senator henceforth would be part time and would only sit for 30 days a year.

Most of the new Senators would be based in their senatorial district doing what state Governors do.

The senator would be elected with a deputy senator so that when d senator is not on seat his deputy can take charge of running the senatorial district.

Since LG administration has collapsed in Nigeria, the best way to achieve accelerated development in the rural areas is to re-jig the current system.

What are your take guys.

Story. Even the elites are looking for how they can mop up the scarce dollars in the system and take them out of the country.
We only hear of Abacha loot. What about the loot of OBJ, IBB, JONATHAN, DEIZANI, BUHARI, SARAKI, TINUBU, ATIKU AND EVEN SAINT OBI plus all state governors past and present. People who have emptied all the treasury totally and hidden Nigeria's wealth in their personal accounts in Switzerland, Panama, etc.

But guess who's to blame: 'greedy' Nigerians trying to protect themselves from government maladministration.

Make una rest abeg.

Everyone who has been Governor since 1999 are culprits of how bad our economy has been ran. Just a few weeks ago we read of how JJ Rawlings could not pay his wife hospital bill in Germany only £10,000.00

Our import volume keeps increasing due to population growth, and greedy Nigerians are hoarding dollars via currency speculation, Nigeria is peculiar in greed, both the politicians and citizens are greedy idiots. CBN must work with banks, and set a limit for domiciliary accounts, others finance solutions applications should be regulated, Nigerians should not be allowed to save money in dollars in Nigeria. The specualation, hoarding of dollars and chronic importation are the problems.

I agree with you. Greed is in over drive now. Just like the P & ID scam some Nigerian officials who have stolen lots of money are undermining the Naira by speculating.

Theirs too has been falling compared to dollar but our has made theirs look stable. Ghana cedi dropped from 12.5 to 12.8 to a dollar few days ago but no one noticed it because ours was screeching as it was falling.

But today it is 11.81 that means it has dropped.

Why is a country who have limited access to us dollars operating a free floating exchange rate. If nig govt fixes the exchange rate, banish Black Market, insist on all purchase and sale of forex must go tru banks

What I noticed when I went to Namibia for one month, they do not allow domiciary accounts. I don’t know where we got that idea from. Y allow dollar accounts in your country, even in d UK they would not allow you to have a dollar account.

Once we scrap dollar accounts I would see the value of Naira surge. But leave it as it is means the same banks that keeping d dollars for you would end up being d ones selling d banked dollars in d black market.

To be sincere when Naira was 1 to 1 in 1976 during Murtala / Obasanjo.’s first coming we were consuming made in Nigeria goods. Even the head of state and this was when obj took over, 504 was the presidential car.

We need to consume what we produce. Innoson cars is there but our Governments both states & federal would go & buy foreign vehicles.

What do you expect when we have very strong appetite for foreign goods and services.

Ban Nigeria from any form of buying and travelling out if the currency will not appreciate

You have said it. Once you close your economy and eat what you produce there is no way your currency will not be strong and stable.

Would they still be supporting Israel lock, stock and barrel. As we know some cities in America has Muslim majority, like Minisota amongst many others.

In the instance that Muslim becomes majority what would happen to the US policy in Isreal.
