Christianity Etc › Why Many Cannot Understand The Bible (sequel 1) by knowingChrist(op): 6:56am On Jan 21, 2022
The bible is written in languages and as such, the grammatical laws of language must be considered or studied and known before even attempting to understand the message.

As mentioned in the preceeding write up, the Holy Ghost helps a person who studies to see these key words and this births the understanding of the actual message in the person. Also mentioned was the fact that many who claim to believe in Jesus lack the knowledge as is the proof of a believer, and many who blatantly reject the gospel is because of their lack of knowledge of grammatical laws which in turn leads to their lack of understanding of the message.

On this write up, we shall discus the difference between "Any" and "Any other". This is important because it's among the most controversial grammatical law applied to writing of the bible as can be seen in Genesis 3:1, and the snake is more subtle than "any" beast of the field (animal) that the Lord God had made.

The word "any" is used to compare two different things while "any other" is used to compare the similar things. For example, we can create a statement comparing two different sex by saying: a man is expected to be physically stronger than "any" woman.

From the example above, a person will deduce that a man is not a woman and a man is expected to be physically stronger than every woman.

Similarly, we can say God is wiser than "any" man, and a listener will understand that God is not a man and God is wiser than all man.

The meaning of these statements are changed if the phrase "any other" is used in the place of the word "any" as it'll mean a man is a woman, and God is a man.

That said, when the bible says the snake is more subtle than "any" animal, the hidden message is that the snake is not an animal and is wiser all animals.

We at KnowingChrist group emphasise the study of the scriptures as opposed to reading. This is bc in study, we get to dissect the scripture accordingly by interpreting every word in context and applying every law as necessary. In reading, a person might be able to recite the bible but cannot understand the actual message.

The bible we know is given by the inspiration of God so we cannot doubt it's message unless a person decides not to believe (and deny) the existence of God and the Authority of Jesus Christ. Yet it's impossible to understand the message without first taking certain steps.

The bible is written in languages and we know languages have laws. Therefore, a person who wishes to study the bible must first learn the grammatical laws of the particular language they decide to study from before they even attempt to understand the message. This gives a proper and holistic understanding of the message, and makes the message real so that even those who had not believed might be convinced. Without this precursory step, many who say they believe in Jesus do not have the knowledge as is the proof of a believer.

The message of the bible was given through objectified visions and written in Hebrew Language to facilitate understanding for the Hebrews. The message was interpreted (by the apostles) with the help of the Holy Spirit, and this interpreted message was translated also with the help of the Holy spirit into modern languages with English Language (and KJV) being the most popular translation of the bible on this day.

A clear understanding of the person and function of the Holy spirit shows that He ministers to every individual in the language they can understand. Having first given the message, the Holy spirit opens a person's understanding to recognize the grammatical laws in the specific language they choose, and this ensures that a person gets the accurate message.

Therefore, an astute student of the scripture must first understand the grammatical laws of English Language before attempting to understand the message of the bible.

An example of an occasion why it's needed to understand the grammatical laws in English language before attempting to understand the bible is seen in Genesis 2:8, And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed - KJV.

The phrase "had formed" is grammatically relevant and is known as Pluperfect. it denotes an event/action happened prior to a specified or implied time. Therefore, the above verse means that Man (Adam) was formed before the garden of Eden was planted, and Adam was put in the garden of Eden after it was planted. This shows the hidden meaning in the verse is that Adam was formed before the garden of Eden, and this was hidden with the Pluperfect "had formed".

There are other grammatically relevant verses in the bible and some of these will be discussed in sequels of this write up. Thank you for reading.

Supporting verse.
Adam just a soul: Genesis 2:7, 1 Corinthians 15:45-49. The bible is very accurate as to what Adam was When he was made, but humans reject this to dwell on the teachings that had been pass down the generations.
Christianity Etc › The General Lie Of The Modern Church by knowingChrist(op): 3:13pm On Dec 29, 2021
Hello everyone, welcome to another session of our revelation of the truth of God as supplied by his grace. We hope you get the wisdom and patience needed to know what is being said

There's a major lie in the church, this lie has been pass down the generations even unto this day. This has made it almost impossible for anyone to come to the realization of the truth of biblical information.

The major lie in the church has to do with the identity of Jesus and that of the ordinary man of the beginning (Adam). It has to do with who was given the ultimate power and authority to rule over everything God has created.

Never did the bible mention that Adam was given any authority other than to name animals, never did the bible tell of any special attribute on Adam, never did it mention that he was anything other than a "soul" when made yet people have claimed differently by claiming Adam was a spirit when made, they also claim that God gave him authority over everything he created.

The first thing we need to know is that the bible is revealing only Jesus, not Adam or Moses, Abraham or anybody else. Everything from start to finish is revealing Jesus. Genesis to Malachi tells about the coming of Christ, Mathew to John talks about the presence of Jesus in this world, while acts of the apostles to revelation talks about the resurrection and return of Jesus.

While it's important to read the bible with this in mind, people have gone astray in trying to understand the bible and have come up with so many demonic teachings, saying things that lead people to more ignorance.

It's written that everything we see and those we do not see was created for Jesus Christ. This information is reiterated through every book of the new testament to stamp it in our mind but somehow people have denied this with utmost conviction.

Since we know that everything was created for Jesus, and only Jesus was given all authority over everything God created, this should birth the realization that when God set out to create, he was going to create man in this own likeness and having his image, and Jesus became that man by the reason of his victory over death but people do not get this realization bc the modern church teaches contrary to this by claiming that Adam was the man given all authority in the beginning and for whom all things were created.

This conviction is both antichrist and anti-biblical. Taking the glory of Christ and giving it to the first Adam is not a teaching of the holy spirit but the modern church has continued to do so till this day.

It's important that we start to reeducated ourselves outside the tenet of the church and truly learn what the bible is saying as we approach the last hour so that we can be able to teach others the truth of God as contained in his word.

God bless you all and we hope you all have a beautiful few hours of the year.

Christianity Etc › Can A Person Lose Their Salvation? by knowingChrist(op): 3:03pm On Dec 22, 2021
There had been conflicting opinion on the particular subjects as there are different factions with different opines. A party says Yes a person can lose their salvation while the other party says it's impossible for person to lose their salvation.

Both parties of this argument have given substantial points so solidify their arguments and this leaves the ordinary man rather confused as to the true teachings about the subject.

We at knowingChrist home have also dabbled into different section of this argument at different times because of lack of concrete revelation on the subject until a new light was shared to us and we are sharing the same light today.

As touching salvation, there's no right answer without the right context. So we can say YES a person can lose their salvation and NO they cant, depending on the context of that question.

If you are asked if a person can lose their salvation, then it's important to stipulate under what conditions a person can either lose or not able to lose their salvation.

Popular coroners of the "once saved always saved" slogan say that salvation cannot be lost because it's by grace and that the saved cannot sin so there's no reason to be unsaved. Other factions have argued that the bible admonishes us to desists from sin so a person who continues in sin can be unsaved.

We must first know and understand the basics of salvation to be able to answer the question? The bible makes it clear that salvation is by grace, the bible also goes ahead to say the saved have become the righteousness by God, so this nullifies the notion that sin can cause a person not to be saved. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Here comes the important part, the writer of Hebrews takes quite an important position when he talked about a certain people who have once been saved then became unsaved through falling away, and says it's impossible to bring such people to salvation a second time Hebrews 6:4-6.

Certain people have argued that these kinds of people were never truly saved the first time but a proper look into the word shows that these kinds of people have been partakers of the Holy Ghost so it's untrue to say they were not saved the first because anyone who has the holy Ghost is saved.

How then can a person become unsaved? It's important to understand that the whole package of salvation rests only on "believe" and not sin, righteousness or works, therefore believe is the only reason a person can be saved or unsaved. It's very possible that a person believes the gospel at a point then turn around to disbelieve the same gospel at another time. This is what is called falling away and it is the reason why a person who was once saved can be unsaved.

A good friend puts it this way: it's possible for a person who was once saved to be unsaved but it's impossible for a believer to be unsaved. This means believing is the reason a person is saved. if a person transitions from a place of believe to disbelieve and vice versa, their reality also changes. in fact, Jesus talked about this in the parable of the sower, he mentions a people who believed at a point but lost the word at another point Luke 8:13.

As mentioned before, Yes a person who once believed can be unsaved by their unbelieve of the same scripture but a person who believes continuously cannot be unsaved. A believer's sin is not inputted to them but if that believer disbelieves the same scriptures which once made them saved, then they are on their own.

God bless you for your time and we hope that this helps answer
Christianity Etc › Are You In The Image Of God? by knowingChrist(op): 10:06am On Dec 21, 2021
Among the most beautiful part of the bible is the saying "let us make man in our own image: after our likeness." Gen 1:26-27. This saying I personally think is the most misinterpreted part of the bible as all of mankind have claimed to be in the image of God because of this.

By grace, certain people have come to the understanding of the basics of the scriptures and have been given the revelation of the truth as pertaining to this particular part and this is why we have decided to share even as it was shared with us.

There are a few rather overly popular false teachings going around in the world. This false teachings I think are borne out of genuine mistake in people's quest to know God.

Some of these teachings include:
1. The assumption that man was originally immortal
2. Adam was a spirit.
2. Adam ( first ) was in the image of God etc.

Sit tight as we try to share this light, and hope each reader receives and pass it along so that more people come to the realization of the truth.

It's written that the first Adam was made a "living Soul" Gen 2:7. While the bible categorically states that the first Adam was just a soul in his original/initial form, people have gone around this to claim that this Adam was beyond a soul in his original form. Yet, the writer of the letter to Corinth went further to help us understand this distinction by reminding us that the first Adam was "MADE" a Soul (that is how he was made). He went ahead to explain the difference between this Adam and Christ whom in his original form was spirit 1 Corinthians 15:45-47.

Despite records plainly written to help us know the truth, people have rather mistakenly claim that the first Adam was originally a spirit and that sin pulled him from being a spirit. People have also assumed that this first Adam was also in the image of God and have also continued to claim that every man is in the image of God.

As the bible authoritatively states that this Adam was not a spirit (at formation) 1 Corinthians 15:45-46, rather he was natural but a living soul. The understanding in this is that this Adam was given a choice (Will) to decide what He will be. He was originally incomplete as a soul still needs a spirit to be complete but he was given the power (in his will) to determine his complete nature, which is "to have life in himself and live or not to have life and die".

In our understanding, we do know that there's no death in God, therefore man choose to be unlike God in his completed form (this means he chose a spirit to dwell in him which is totally different from that of God). Even so, this man was devoid of a spirit before choosing, so there wasn't a time when he was in the image of God as he took upon himself a form which was contrary to God.

The second idea of immortality of the first man before his fall is also something we can easily refute in Christ. A question that comes to mind is this: was Jesus immortal at any time before his death? Rather Jesus experienced life like every other person even though he was without sin. He grew old and hungered just like everyone. This clearly refute the teachings of an immortal man before his sin.

Here lies the distinction, yes there's a man in the image of God but this man was neither the Christ nor the First Adam as these two people had the tendencies to experience things that were alien to God. Hungering, Growing old e.t.c. are experiences God cannot go through.

The man in the image in the image of God is Jesus who was raised from death, a man that cannot grow old and is the same everyday. Therefore, when God was talking about a man that is going to be in his image and after his likeness, he was referring to man in the resurrected Jesus's form. Man in this form had been the plan of God from the beginning. Man to be in the form Jesus now IS was the plan God set out to manifest in creation, and this man is the exact image of God and was the dominion over all that was created Hebrews 1:1-4.

While this might not be clear to all, the Prophet Joel prophesied about this people before the coming of the Christ. An important thing to note in his prophesy is that there had never been a kind of this people Joel 2:1-11. This means from the beginning of time (even unto the first Adam) there had not been this kind of Man (the man that is in the image of God).

It also important to recognize the importance of Will in all of this, Yes God's plan is to make everyone in his image, yet God does not enforce everyone to be in his image. Today, you and i have been given the same choices as was given to the first Adam, the power to choose what image we want to be like and what spirit we carry in our completed nature.

This choice we're meant to make in the gospel, God wants us all to believe (by choice) the gospel, and be male and female people in the image of God, and have his spirit dwell in us to give us the life that's needed for immortality. if a person rejects the gospel (also by choice), what works in them is another spirit, and making them a people that is contrary to the image of God.

Here are the key points:
1. Man's immortality is dependent on the spirit that lives in them.
2. The man in the image of God is that man who takes in the spirit of God and born as a new creation that is having no hitherto records whatsoever.
3. The first Adam was made a soul, we also are originally a soul at birth but are soon possessed by the spirit in the world in our decision and be like the first Adam and bearing his image. 1 Corinthians 15:49
4. A person is disconnected from the first Adam in their decision to accept the gospel and born in God through Christ and be like God as he's made like Jesus.

Thank you for reading, God bless us all as we walk in him to truly understand his word. Also, we will like to use this medium to encourage those who are yet to bear the image of God to Hear the word so that they might be convinced by God of his truth in the gospel and be born anew in the image of God.
