I believe you don't know anything bc if you do, you'll realize that Dangote has crippled Nigerian economy with his cohorts. They're like a cabal destroying this Nigerian economy with their fraudulent business ideas and showcasing fraud business money while people like you celebrate them.

Dangote is not doing anything for Nigeria, instead he takes from Nigeria and has many governors in his pocket. Has ill gotten assets across the nation by sponsoring people's election for important assets in their states when they win. Buys important assets that we build with heavy international loans cheaply from his uneducated northern brothers in power.

See, you may not have a life nor are you trying to have a life in Nigeria but some of us believe in Nigeria and we believe in good governance and equity. Dangote is toxic for Nigeria and he's not good for us. Have you not been looking at the inverse proportional relationship between Nigeria's economy and Dangote's wealth? The more Dangote became wealthy is the more Nigeria economy became useless and the naira became more useless.

You need to come out of the box. But unfortunately your hate and unlawful agitation has blinded you from seeing the truth. Biafra is a APC (Tinubu inclusive) game. MNK is not a leader but a selfish entity. Every time before the election, Nnamdi Kanu will miraculously appear and order igbo youths to boycott the election and this usually give APC victory bc East is usually more of PDP. Election is close again and they've released him again to work on your mind. He'll tell you again to boycott the election and you'll foolishly accept then APC will have easy victory again. Have you ever seen any reasonable leader tell his people to boycott election especially when they have the power to cause a problem for the ruling party?

Nelson Mandela that we know did not tell his people to boycott election, in fact he was fighting for the people to be able to vote. And since the blacks have been allowed to vote, have not seen that's it's been black president since then? Imagine if he was delusional and tell them not to vote, a white person will automatically win and they'll still be suffering the old problems.

Wake up from your slumber and stop sounding very intelligently ignorant. Do your maths, visit places. Both Dangote and MNK are not good for Nigeria. In fact, I do not like yaya bello for his arrogance but I commend him for standing up against Dangote the bully who bullies everyone in the economy. Did you not see what Dangote did to BUA in Edo state? Had BUA not also been a northern company, Dangote will have used the presidency to oppress him but the man sef na e first go report Dangote. At the end he still won in court bc Dangote's claims was senseless, he just wanted to grab the asset. Dangote is not good, he's greedy and wants to own everything. Avarice has taken over him and he's now a lost man.

Stop supporting evil and disgusting entities bc they're rich. Within 6 yrs that Dangote started that his nonsense refinery, do you know what has happened to our naira? Do you think it's an ordinary coincidence?

Britishcoins:
One thing that I know is that Dangote does not owns Kogi people any apology or compensation... Because he rightfully bought the site of his operations...

They should hold their governor and lawmakers who for years could not fix that terrible state of their drainage system....

I am Igbo youths but I don't think Obi will win this election.. One thing that will happen is that Biafra agitation will surely continue after election and this time around Nigeria will surely split into different countries, that is when development will happen to SE region..

For those of you who carry this election for head, kindly keep ur hands busy with any skills that can put food on ur table.. Stop putting all ur trust on this failed nation..

Once more Biafra freedom is better than Obi presidency... My humble opinion.

You make sense Sir. Many get cheated bc they disobey the law bc their pastor told them that the law is dead. However, the law became alive for them at the moment they fell into sin, for the law was created to checkmate sin. Jesus was actually under the universal laws which automatically translates to Grace. Grace can find you only when you recognize these laws.

If you live under the laws of an authority, you’ll hold the key to salvation. The only authority Jesus recognized is the word of God., the word of God is grace.

It's quite unfortunate that he had to go through this torment.. I wish him quick revovery and would have donated if i had money with me.

However, I'd like to add that it's a pity his family is not saved even though the professed Christ. Many who call on the name of Jesus are not saved today bc they do not yet believe in their heart. For believing entails obeying the commandment of Jesus and this commandment is that we must dwell in peace with all men but his family have not believed in the name they call.

Also, it's sad that this fellow has lost his life and a chance for salvation despite with all this. It'll be painful to his soul to find out that he has condemned himself despite all this. Islam is not religion of truth and it's quite unfortunate that someone Has to pass through fire to buy a lie.

Quite saddening that i reason that he has no place in eternal life despite all this worldly torment. I wish he'll find his path back to Christ and I also wish that his family should be saved. May God help them all.

Takara:
Sunday Remijius, now Abubakar, hails from Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State. Born into a strong Catholic family, the graduate of Economics education, from the Nasarawa State College of Education who loves cooking, was employed at one of the Shoprite offices in Abuja as a Merchandiser.

But his encounter with a colleague led him to Islam. That decision has left him with steel in his leg from one of the several attacks from his family for renouncing his religion. In this interview, he shares his tough journey to Islam, his struggles with his family and his cry for help, among other issues of interest. Excerpts:

How did you become a Muslim?

I accepted Islam through the influence of a colleague while I was working at Shoprite in Apo, Abuja. His name is Ibrahim and his attitude made me to become a Muslim. Shoprite employ people from a state and post them to another state for training. I was posted from Abuja to Kano but I met Ibrahim when he was posted to Abuja from Kano. There were about 23 boys with me then and some cabal used to deduct N2000 each from the salaries of all us unknown to the management. This happened for years. Ibrahim was directly in charge of that ‘deduction project’ when he came but he refused to take the money. When I inquired why, he said his religion does not allow him to touch haram. Coupled with other traits I noticed about him because of his religion, it made me to accept Islam. I reasoned that if his attitude was possible because of his religion, then I want to be part of the religion.

How did your wife receive the news of your conversion?

We were working together at Shoprite then but she was angry when she learnt that I converted. Initially I didn’t want her to know. But one day, she saw me coming out of the mosque we have at the office and was wondering what I went there for. I opened up and told her ‘I’m now a Muslim’. Her name is Helen. She said she can never convert to Islam and called my family who came down to Abuja from Nasarawa State where we lived. This was in 2020. All they thought was that someone converted me. The period coincided with my yearly leave at Shoprite and I took the opportunity to travel to Enugu State with my wife. Meanwhile, because of my conversion, my family left Nasarawa State and relocated home. They said I brought shame to them, especially my father who is a traditional title holder.

How will you describe your experience with your parents as a Muslim?

It was terrible and unimaginable, especially for my father. He finds it hard to believe that I could be a Muslim and want to remain one. But my mother and younger sister, who is the last born in our family, love me so much. After my conversion, if I miss any prayer, I will be very uncomfortable until after I pray and I will happy and very peaceful with myself and everyone around me. I was observing my Maghrib prayer in one instance and reciting Suratul Fatiha aloud when all of a sudden, I felt a terrible blow from behind. When I turned, they were some of my relatives. They hit me with plank, iron and anything they could get. I tried to fight back because I am a very strong person just like Umar in Islam, but they were five of them. They hit me to the extent that I fainted and they wanted to kill me. It was my mother that prevented them by throwing herself on top of me that day. When I regained consciousness, I discovered that I couldn’t stand up anymore and my hands and legs were broken. Initially, I was taken to a local hospital in Enugu where I was bedridden for six months. My hands were okay but my legs became a problem. Anytime I tried to walk, I will feel and hear cracking of bones inside me. I made arrangement to come to Idala Hospital in Kano for specialized treatment on the advice of Ibrahim. It was there that steel was infused into my leg. The treatment cost me my entire savings because I was doing very well at Shoprite with about N200,000 salary when my allowances were added. My office gave me six months but I spend about a year and five weeks without full recovery. It was within this period that I lost my job at Shoprite. I was loved there and the management wanted and was eager to give me back my job, but for my condition.

How much did your operation cost?

About N420,000. I was operated twice. After the first time, my leg became shorter, so I went back and they had to use something to lengthen it a bit. That was when they put the steel in my leg.

During your time of tribulation, did you receive any assistance from the family?

No, except my mother who loves me to a fault. Although she was not happy that I became a Muslim, she offered support when she realized they wanted to take my life.

Did you reach out to the Muslim community in Enugu?

I’m the only Igbo Muslim in my entire local government, apart from those that came for business. There is a mosque where I used to go to pray and the mosque management later involved the police. But my father as a high-ranking personality intimidated the policemen. He said he had to relocate from Nasarawa because of me and here I am again. He told them that I am his first son, and unless I renounce Islam and stop praying, he will never allow me have peace. I told him that I wasn’t the one that chose Islam, rather it was Allah that revealed it to me and he said over his dead body. When we got home, I was told that I’m no longer welcome in the house and on the land which he gave me where I built my house. I have left everything for him. It was the DPO of the station who is also a Muslim that I met where I used to go and observe Jumat that advised me to emulate the Prophet (SAW) and make hijrah by leaving the community. My father warned him not to interfere or it will lead to another crisis. He rejected the intervention of my mother. It was one Hausa man that gave me N50,000, another one gave me N20,000 among other assistance. I had to leave because my wife and her family were also giving me problem. I collected my daughter who is 7 years old now and arranged for her to get to Nasarawa.

How did you come to Ilorin and how have you been surviving?

It was one Hausa man I met in Enugu, who had once sold meat in Ilorin, that advised me to come down to Ilorin maybe because of the relative peace and tolerance here. I was given a place to stay by a good Muslim and one Hausa told me to always come if I want to eat. My place is at the heart of Maraba Motor Park where passengers to Kano, Kaduna and Niger, among other states in the north, board vehicles. I help the drivers to load (for a token) whenever I am not having pain in my leg.

Have you been speaking to your family?

It is only my mother and our last born that still speak to me. There was a time during this fiasco in Enugu that my sister Lovina came to my house and saw me sleeping. My English translated Qur’an which I often read before going to be bed was on the ground and she began to read it. It coincided with the time my father walked in. It was her scream that work me up from the vicious hit from my father.

Since your conversion to Islam, any regrets?

The only regret I have is the persecution from my family. I love my mother so much and my happiest day will be to witness her profession of Islam. That will further inspire many others to follow. But I know most of my family members wouldn’t want that to happen. If I put on jalabiya back there in Enugu, my people will be looking at me as if I don’t know what I am doing. They see my conversation as something abnormal and unusual.

What help do you seek now?

The help I seek is concerning my legs, the metal implant is affecting me. Sometimes I sit down on the ground to pray and hate myself (astaghfirullah). At times, I will cry and pray to Allah to assist me. Sometimes, I wonder if I’m the first person to convert to Islam. Lovina once asked me that if she converts to Islam, will she also pass through the same pain I’m passing through. If I had my way, I would have brought her closer to me. She is a graduate of the Nasarawa State University. I am trying to convince her because I know that In Sha Allah, I will be the source of my family accepting Islam.

How much will the operation cost?

The doctor at Idala said N120,000 and I have tried to raise the money by selling the only phone I have now for N11,000. I don’t have anyone again. I had sold my Mercedes 190 during a stage of the previous operations. I wanted to make arrangement to dispose my remaining motorcycle but learnt my junior ones are using it. I had to forgo the idea because I don’t want anything that would disrupt the happiness of my

With due respect again Mr max, Learn to quote scriptures properly and reflect on them before posting the verse here so you don't end up being an hypocrite.

The verse you quoted (1 Corinthians 4:7) is talking about a people who think they know it better and have become arrogant and claim to be different from others. This explain you and your Jehovah witness more than anyone else.

I saw your reply where you said that only Jehovah witness is worshipping God and every other Christian denomination is a pagan institution. I wanted to reply you but the Holy Spirit held me back but here you are quoting a scripture that hooks you by the neck.

How can you make such comment? Does it not reflect you projecting ur religion as superior and every member of your religion (and yourself) as having superior knowledge?

Lastly, I do not have a problem with learning from anyone. I can learn from both big and small churches, I do not have a problem with that. However, I'm also not lazy to check the scriptures by myself so I don't become trapped by false doctrines.

So far so good, you've been saying many things that are unscriptiral and that's not even the main problem. You've not been showing the humility of Christ when you speak to others. You haven't been choicy with your words.

By this I have concluded that JW have not taught you well. I have judged from you representation that JW make people every arrogant and obnoxious just as all false doctrine makes people rebellious and proud. But my this is not final yet, I'll keep an open mind till I meet another member of your sect and hopeful they give a better representation of your sect.

Take some time Mr max, study and apply the word of God to your life so you might be transformed. God bless you Sir.

Good morning Sir, how are you today? I hope you're well and active.

With due respect Sir, I do not think you took time to read what I wrote and it's quite sad that you're in a conversation where you hear only your own voice.

I never told you the serpent in Genesis is Satan, why would I say such lies? It was Mr Max who said that. What I told you sir is that your opinion of the bible is false bc the bible is one. Every part of the scriptures is saying the same thing.

You do not understand it bc you already assumed that it's incorrect and that blinds you from seeing the truth.

MaobiCarl:
You believe a collection of books is one word. That's your faith and has nothing to do with logic.
Because a critical reading of the Bible books side by side, comparative study unmasked thousands of valid absurdities and contradictions.
Meanwhile you couldn't logically explain or isolate the old testament(Hebrew) without mentioning Greek books to explain how the snake or serpent in genesis turned out to be Satan.
The old testament does not acknowledge that and you can't deny it.
And what am saying is falsehood to u because it goes contrary to your assumptions and believes.

So how do we find out the truth without bias?

This is totally false Sir.

Even though I do not think what Mr Max said is the truth, I do not also subscribe to your totally false comments here.

It's clear that you do not regard the bible so stop sticking your mouth to where they're talking about it. It's not wise to go sit in a place where your enemies are discussing and learn unless you're a mole.

I'd say Mr max is doing better at your Job of being a mole if you were actually a mole. You need to pretend as if you believe and speak things that look like truth but are actually false. That's what he's doing and he fits a better mole than yourself.

The bible is a word, they're saying the same from Genesis to revelation. It's a framework and if you take any part of it out of context, it won't make sense.

The bible is very connected. If you study it with an open mind, you'll see they're saying the same thing.

MaobiCarl:
Bro stop quoting revelation to defend your interpretation in genesis. You're only making yourself silly. Linking the serpent or snake in genesis remains a cooking of Christianity and you're still making it very clear.
The bible is a collection and library of books. Collected by men. Nothing was divine about the collection(study a secular history of the Bible). The Bible was created by the orthodox Church fathers after reaching a consensus as to which books should be read in church or not.
Every book of the Bible is on its own
Christianity Etc › Re: Where Did The Satan In Christianity Come From? by knowingChrist(m): 9:03am On Oct 03, 2022
With due respect Sir, everything you said here is incorrect. Never did the bible use the phrase "original serpent". Your religion chose to edit that part by creating you another bible translations that aligns you towards believing that.

The bible used the phrase "old serpent" and this does not in any way say it's the same serpent that deceived Eve. You're adjusting what the bible said to put out your own ideologies as scriptural truth.

If it's truth that Satan was the person who deceived Eve, the whole of the scriptures would have said it. What John was saying in revelation is totally different from the serpent that deceived Eve...

Even from biblical standards, nothing must be established as the truth unless you have at least two to three witnesses. So you've forcefully accepted and trying to establish your opinions as the truth Eve you can't find two people in the scriptures telling us that the serpent that deceived Eve is Satan.

If you're a true student of Christ, you'll know that your ideology is faulty yet the word of God is never faulty. If they call you a spirit man, does that mean that you're a walking spirit? It just means that your thought process are spiritual, even Jesus who rose from the dead said he's not a spirit (Luke 24:39). Therefore, if they called Satan serpent in Revelation, this means his thought process is certainly serpentine and not all this things you're saying Sir.

Like I said Sir, take some time to revisit this topic and do continue to say what scriptures didn't say. If you make the word of God a lie, it'll mean that you're adding to the Revelation of John bc John didn't say the serpent he called was the serpent that deceived Eve. You only added that.

And for the record, Adam refused to obey God's commandment refused to abide under his authority so he didn't need to be deceived and he wasn't deceived 1 Timothy 2:14.

MaxInDHouse:
Whose words did Apostle John penned down here?

So down the great dragon was hurled, the ORIGINAL SERPENT, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. Revelations 12:9

The serpent that deceived Eve {Genesis 3:1-5, 13} is the "original serpent" here and Jesus is the one revealing these sacred secrets to Apostle John {Revelations 1:1} just as Jesus promised he will do! John 21:20-25

So my friend Max don't argue blindly, i have all the scriptural backings pointing to the fact that the serpent at Genesis is Satan the devil.

May you have PEACE! smiley

Thus, very reasonable. However did Jesus teach you that the serpent in Genesis is Satan? Did any of the disciples of Jesus teach you that? Did you find this teachings from Mathew to Jude?

Don't you think you're assuming bc of John's Revelation? John saw a revelation that needs to be interpreted but you've only taken a statement of this revelation out of context to support your idea of what the serpent in Genesis might be.

I thought you were the person teaching me here that Jesus never countered Moses, That he only elaborated on what Moses had said, why then are you saying what Moses and Jesus didn't say?

MaxInDHouse:
Before Eve was created Adam has been in the garden {Genesis 2:18} so it's Adam that the order not to eat of the forbidden fruit was given and he surely passed it to Eve.

With due respect Mr max, this is a beautiful narrative sir but it cannot stand. Never did anywhere in the scripture says what you said. Are you telling me that if you're saying that Satan Is the serpent then why didn't the whole of Genesis to Jude reiterate it, but you miraculously found the answer in Revelation.

I'm convinced what you say on this topic is incorrect and I'll like you to humbly accept that you're wrong and ask God to teach you the truth.

I'll not tell you that I know better but I'm certain that what you're saying is not the truth bc it's not well distributed across the books of the scripture. Moses didn't say the serpent is Satan and John's Revelation is totally unconnected to what happened in Eden.

One was talking about fall of Adam while one was talking about the Victory of Christ. One was talking about old Adam while the other was talking about New Adam; two different focus. So pls don't mix up scriptural situations to produce something that looks nice but not good for the soul. Thank you

Most creatures has the sense of sight, hearing and making a sound but the ability to speak is a gift given to humans only. So out of all the creatures on planet earth only humans specie is expected to have a form of language because we do communicate.
In the spirit realms there is all these senses as well and angels can use it all, that's why they can speak with humans too. Unlike humans who now has issues dealing with the confusion that started at Babel {Genesis 11:1-9} the angels don't have any problem because they know we're still speaking the same language globally it's a spiritual force that's blurring our senses from understanding one another regarding tongue so when they speak to anyone from any nationality you will hear them speak in your mother tongue.
Now this supernatural creatures also have the power to speak in a multitude of people and open the receptive senses of just one or a few to understand what they're saying whereas the rest will start wondering what is happening.
Well that's exactly what Satan (a fallen angel) did when he used a snake just like a puppet to speak to Eve {Genesis 3:1-5} that's why the Bible later identified the real creature behind the voice Eve heard that day as Satan! Revelations 12:7 undecided

The verse did not say it was a snake. Moses saw something in a vision that was represented as a snake, just as John saw the Holy Spirit in a vision as a snake. You're saying what the bible didn't say.

Also, the bible doesn't say the Satan and not all Christians thinks the snake is Satan. Mist Christians think it's Satan but definitely not all.

What you said is incorrect sir and the popular Christian belief is also incorrect. Let's be humble enough to accept that we do not know certain things so that we might know.

Thank you sir for replying

MaobiCarl:
The verse in no way suggested it was nothing else but snake. Is your Christainity that brought the idea Satan.
Not genesis, not old Judaism and not the old testament.

Like I said Max, you did a good job with the writhing again, your narration was beautiful even though you just took some of the verse out of context but it's fine.

However, my bone of contention with you is in your idea of Satan, you totally assumed everything you said about him and I was just calling ur attention to that..

The bible made it clear that Adam refused to obey God or submit to his authority and he was not deceived but the Christian society reject this biblical truth to project an idea that Adam did not refuse to obey God, he was just deceived.

Yet, the bible makes it every clear that Adam was not deceived nor was there anyone in the Garden of Eden save Adam and Eve. In fact, the bible makes it clear that Garden of Eden was created after Adam was had been created and Adam was made Lord of the Garden.

This is why I said we should endeavor to let our wisdom be within the word of God so we don't create a good narrative that's suits our mind but totally goes against scriptures.

Thank you for replying me sir, God bless you. Amen!

MaxInDHouse:
Satan is a real person but let's leave that for now and concentrate on the topic of discussion.
From God's standpoint Adam and many others who are rebellious have died just like Abraham Isaac and Jacob but God kept the names of all obedient people in a record for their remembrance {Job 14:13-15} as for Adam and others who were rebellious God has disown them {Deuteronomy 32:5} so they will forever routine in their graves {Psalms 9:17} that's why Jesus referred to some people as walking corpse {Luke 9:60} because they have no record with God {Luke 12:21} but as for all those in God's memory book they are all living from God's standpoint because they will be raised from the dead! Luke 20:38

So you automatically assume that the snake is this person called Satan right?

MaobiCarl:
And the snake spoke to eve!

This is a beautiful write up Max and I must say, I learned from it. However, let's remain within the word in our knowledge pls.

I do not know where people usually saw Satan in the bible but I'm sure they are not looking at the bible or relying on the wisdom of God when they speak of the Satan they usually talk about in the Christian society.

Adam was the source of refusal to obey God, he was the beginning of men doing their own thing and being contemptuous to God. Like you said, some men struggled to obey God while others (Adam, Cain etc) totally refused to obey God and submit to his authority and this is why God doesn't say he's their God.

Abraham is the beginning of the covenant for salvation so when God says I'm God of Abraham, he's only saying I'm God who gave the covenant of salvation.

He is NOT the God of the dead but of the living! Luke 20:38

All those who have alienated themselves from God are DEAD spiritually speaking {Matthew 8:22} Satan is the first, followed by Even and Adam, then a host of other angels and humans also joined Satan in the rebellion. All these are God's children, whether human or angels but destruction awaits them all. Job 1:6

From his memory book their names can't be found {Hebrew 11:4-32} that's why he(God) speaks of himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These ones struggled to remain loyal to him until death. Jesus also spoke that this our God is his own God as well {John 20:17compared to Luke 23:46}, because Jesus remained faithful to his God until death! John 19:30

Of course God also have individuals who aren't Jews in his memory book e.g Job {Job 1:1}, but when speaking with Israelites he often mention names familiar to them. You can't expect him to start listing the names of all those in his memory book. That's why he made sure that the good deeds of those he cherished were documented in the Bible so you and i can examine anyone from what was written about Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Whoever lived a virtuous life like these ones are well kept in his mind for resurrection! 2Chronicles 16:9a

But as for Adam, Eve, Cain, Nimrod and other evildoers, they're gone as in GONE FOR GOOD as their names can't be found anywhere in God's memory ~ The Book Of Life! Revelations 20:15

God bless you! smiley
