Was in awka some days back ,its really shameful, my heart bleedse for my state, from amansea to awka is still the same, pothole riddled roads,non-functioning street lights,refuse littering the entire state capital from arroma junction down to Ziks avenue, ,arthur eze,unizik junction,court road,udoka housing estate etc are still the same, no changes at all, the state capital still looks like a glorified village,

That's not how the world works though. The rise of morality had little to do with religion and more the need to survive. In order to survive you need numbers as you're more likely to be killed by animals when alone so you form alliances with other humans and create a mini civilization. In order for the civilization to thrive you'd need to try not to do things that would threaten the civilization like murder, theft etc. societies that didn't figure this out fast enough got obliterated while those that did figure it out survived and that's what we came from.
