omohayek: Glad to see you've given up your "holier than thou" posturing and revealed yourself as the grand projector you really are!
Either you've never stepped outside of your village, or you're living in an alternative universe from the rest of us, to accuse anyone of "exaggerating the challenges we face" even as you reside in a country which now has the most poor people in the world - even more than India with 6 times the population - and where GDP per capita has declined for 6 years in a row. Nigeria is a sh*thole in which clean drinking water, 24-hour power supply, well-maintained roads and trustworthy policing remain science-fiction fantasies, a failed state only worth defending in the eyes of ignoramuses without a clue just how far behind the rest of the world is leaving them. Keep telling yourself you live in paradise and maybe one day you might even believe your own ridiculous propaganda. Did you really expect kind words from me after your disrespectful submission? You are funny. If you attack me, I reciprocate, I'm not a coward. Even though your argument so far doesn't detract from the valid points I've made. Failed state, the poorest country in the world, etc. Such narratives can only be sold to failures that are looking for excuses to justify their personal shortcomings. I'm a business man that has done well for himself in this same so called failed state, and I've traveled to many countries on business and holidays. I also know there are poor and struggling people even in the most developed countries. Yes, their overall standard of living might be better than what we have here, but most of such countries have come a long way in terms of governance and economic development. They probably passed this phase we are passing currently. But the difference between them and people like you is that they never gave up on their country. You can say and entertain whatever negativity you like about your country, if it gives you satisfaction, but don't try to force it on others. No one is saying here is a paradise, no where is a paradise anyways, but we have potentials for growth and prosperity like other advanced countries whether you believe it or not. |

omohayek: It's your problem if you can't distinguish criticism of your empty rhetoric from "personal attacks". There's nothing "personal" about saying your arguments are nothing more than content-free appeals to "patriotism" that in the face of overwhelming evidence, it's simply a statement of fact. I'm afraid, you're talking nonsense. You are also silent about my second paragraph above, aren't you? Stop exaggerating the challenges we face and stop demarketing our country, please. You lack wisdom. |

omohayek: Look, I'm as much a self believer in African pride as anyone, but all you're doing here is meaningless armchair quarterbacking.
All this talk of "if Europeans ran away from their countries", as if all the white people in the USA, Canada, Australia and the South American countries simply sprang out of thin air - if you'd bothered to read a history book, you'd know that most of their ancestors were driven to flee Europe by the very same impulse that pushes Nigerians abroad today, namely the desire for a better life in a country with real prospects of upward mobility.
As for the imaginary "greener pastures in Nigeria" you're talking about, unless you're single-handedly ready to provide quality jobs, honest government and trustworthy security to the many millions of educated and under-employed Nigerians who remain behind, spare us the empty platitudes, because nobody's buying what you're selling.
As clear as I've tried to be on here in the past about those trying to sell wannabe illegal immigrants on false dreams of streets in London and New York being paved with gold, people like you who try to make a hellish Nigeria out to be some sort of heaven on earth are just as bad. The truth is that this country is horribly misgoverned, with Buhari's utterly lifeless and incompetent tenure having managed to make GEJ's incompetence and graft seem almost ideal by comparison. Nigeria is nowhere near where it could be if those who had a clue were in charge, but the educated and idealistic sorts who could make a difference are heavily outnumbered by the tribalists, religious zealots and fantastists like yourself who always opt for the same tired old crooks and know-nothings, so who can blame those who know better for wanting to take their skills where they'll be put to better use?
It's simply absurd to expect people who have taken the time and trouble to make something of themselves to allow their lives to be wasted begging for scraps in a sh*thole of a country where even paving the road to the main international airport is beyond the government, let alone providing reliable electricity, policemen who fight crime instead of committing it, clean drinking water and other basics which are simply taken for granted almost everywhere else in the world. I don't have the time for endless bickering with those that cant argue without personal attacks. I'm happy you said according to your history book, that white ancestors from Europe fled or tried to flee to other countries due to then harsh conditions. This means that, like in the current case of Nigeria, this is a stage that will pass. That, if we all did not panic, abandon the country and flee, Nigeria will evolve and develop. If you are biased against your country, especially ,due to bad leadership, you can always come up with a million excuses to migrate for a better life. The mindset you keep is a matter of choice. I have chosen to beleive in my country and race, no matter what. |

Africans should have some pride. If your leadership is bad, get involved in politics and improve it. Build businesses and create jobs if you can't get one. Do whatever you can to succeed, live a good life, and develop your own country. There's dignity in labor, especially when you're succeeding against all odds in your place of origin. Don't migrate to Europe and America and become a second class citizen that are treated like slaves. Their weather can even kill you because that's not your natural home, or haven't you heard about blacks dying of cold weather?
If Europeans ran away from their countries while they were still developing, would you guys have anywhere to run to? Have some shame and pride. If you are strong and smart, you can succeed anywhere, Nigeria is no exception. Anyone that's too desperate to run away is either mentally lazy or a weakling, and if you follow their progress very well, even in abroad, they don't go far there. If there's no Europe and Nigeria is the only country there is, won't you work smart and hard to succeed here?
If you are in need of quality education, and you can afford to get it in Europe, by all means go, get it, and return to your country and apply your knowledge here. We should all learn to give back to Nigeria and build it up. If you can't travel to get better education, get busy and make use of your God given brains, the richest people are not the most educated. Education is not synonymous with being smart, but can add to the quality of being smart. So get smart, and quit complaining. There are much greener pastures in Nigeria if you open your eyes to see. |

They are both local brands but differ in quality. in terms of protein, ecofloat has 38% or so minimum protein while miles floating has 40% - 43% minimum protein. we also give guarantee on results. What's the minimum order quantity? As this may be our trial order, we have to do the minimum. |

Today is 18th, nothing yet. My agent continue to tell me to calm down, that he'll call me once goods are available.
Am a bit afraid. It's my first time of international business.
Why do you think there's such delay? .
I was told ship takes a max of 60days to arrive here Apapa traffic gridlock most likely: mine was shipped 18 Dec, arrived on 18 feb after two months, was cleared within 10 days, but loading and trucking didn't happen till yesterday |

HellVictorinho: Life is absurd. You keep making money just to keep making money till you die. If you have children, they will do the same. If you don't die, there will be too many humans. Life is absurd. If you are poor like me,you will have to keep living from hand to mouth till you die unless you experience a breakthrough that will make you to want to have children that will not suffer like you till you die. The stars favor all at different times in their lives, people remain poor endlessly only when they fail to seize the opportunities offered again and again . In other words, they lack the knowledge of how the world works. And, of course, financial literacy is helpful to be able to build on the opportunities acted upon. Everyone has lucky and unlucky days, figure it out through astrology by studying your natal chat and know when to act and when to do nothing. Acquire skills and be prepared, for opportunities must come your way. Last year for instance, even though there was a pandemic and economic crisis, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise for some, because they seized business opportunities that the pandemic created and made millions. |

No one decides to be gay or straight of their own accord, it's natural. Animals, gorrilas for instance, also have gays among them. These innocent people should be left alone please so long as they don't infringe on anyone's right. Besides, they are always in the minority, so what's the fuss about. I'm straight BTW. |

masterP042: If peradventure those people got healed it's either luck or scam.. For u to say that those miracles or powers are real, it should have a procedure and should be replicated. For instance, if u say force is mass times acceleration, it's the same, whether in my village, us, uk or in space. But can your pastor always replicate that power of miracle, anywhere anytime? Isn't it laughable the way Christians try to defend their God. You simply made a common sense statement, and instead of them to reason with you, they attacked and called you names. Fear and indoctrination have subjected their souls to a state of perpetual slavery and deprived them of the ability of logical reasoning. Christianity and other mainstream religions are a curse and a clog in the wheels of advancement for humans |

Those of us that have witnessed such rare natural occurrences are indeed lucky, having disabused our minds of doubts and learned the truth - ghosts, reincarnation, and such.
The unlucky ones may forever remain skeptics because they lack the experiences, and what is worse, they are bold in their ignorance because our evolving sciences cannot yet explain how these natural phenomena happen.
No amount of eye witness accounts will convince any skeptic until they see things for themselves |

donnie: The scriptures are not ficticious. They have been relied on as a veritable source of history for thousands of years. Yes there has been deliberate mistranslations, books taken out etc, but it ain't fictional.
Yes, what many of the traditionalists practice today was gotten from ancient Egypt and that is because they are the ancient Israelites who were in Egypt for centuries and dominated the land before the Exodus. And even after the exodus Israelites, our ancestors migrated to and from Egypt.
Or are you one of those who believe the lies of Hollywood and CNN that those whitish Turks pretending to be Arabs in Egypt are the ancient Egyptians? The true ancient indigenous Egyptians were pushed out to Somalia/ Sudan.
Isrealites were worshipping idols right in Jerusalem, reason they were driven out of their land and taken captive by several nations. And that captivity has not ended, don't be fooled. But we are at the time of the end of our captivity. Please refer me to any documented authentic secular history detailing this so called exodus of Israelites. |
