My sister, that may likely happen if other states adopt and trust same measure(masks). Otherwise they may elect to keep visitors, especially those from Lagos, out of their states.

Mask stops people from spreading it, but doesn't protect the wearer. There were confusions initially about the use of mask. But it is still advisable that people wear it since one may be asymptomatic and still be able to spread it.

I think it protects the wearer, especially, if he/she wears eyeglasses in addition. If your nose, mouth, and eyes are all covered, it's hard to contract it. Except, of cause, you rub your contaminated hands on your facial features.

The use of face mask is a bit more complicated than that. As you said most countries do not have the supply chain to meet demand, and if everyone is wearing, there wont be enough for healthcare workers. I work in a pharmacy in canada and we have not had face mask in some weeks. Canada just started receiving recently and producing.

Let's take Lagos for example with a population of 20 million people and you have to use a mask a day. If 10 million people are using face mask, that is 300 million masks in a month. China has stopped selling, Aba cant produce that number. Remember that is just lagos.

As much as it will reduce the spread, it's a supply chain nightmare and that is why people have been asked to make theirs at home, it may not be so effective, but it's better than none. And for the business minded people, this is a perfect business opportunity, you are sure of a 300million demand in lagos alone for the next few months

That's incorrect. The genome for CoVid 19 has since been sequenced by scientists. So the tests are targeted specifically to detect CoVID 19. Do you think virologists and other expert scientists don't know that there are different types of coronaviruses? Are they quacks? When you, a non-medical expert, could know, is it the experts that wouldn't know? The website where you read the information you reeled out about the types of Coronaviruses, is it not the same experts that put it there?

When they tested people for MERS in 2012, were they testing for all kinds of coronaviruses and recording them as MERS? How much more in 2020!

Kindly provide your source of information regarding the effectiveness and correctness of tests for covid 19, because I haven't read any proof so far, and the medical experts(virologists)that have deliberated deeply on this say otherwise.

Comments and videos on the internet are unfortunatetly heavily censored. I watched a YouTube video a few days back where these diagnostic techniques, and the assumptions surrounding them to deceive and delibrately keep people in the dark, were discussed in depth.Two days later the video was taken down by YouTube. From their findings, it's most likely that the covid 19 that spread in china is different from whats happening in most parts of the rest of the world.
The mainstream media will only let you hear and see what they want to. Fortunately, for people like me, i do my research and i try to keep an open mind and look at dissenting findings, without dismissing them as conspiracy theories , until at least it has been proven beyond any doubt.

Tell me if Covid 19 is not named as the cause of death in there guys, how will the effects of the virus be adequately traced. Some people have underlying health issues but they don't know. When these people have the virus and the end up dying, you're saying their deaths should be attributed to their underlying illness? You're saying people that have Diabetes or HIV or like this case that end up getting the virus and dying should have those underlying health issues recorded as their cause of death?

You have a point, but since those underlying health conditions are the primary cause of death, covid 19 shouldn't be mentioned as the cause, reason why most people without preexisting health wahala recover from covid 19. In this case,as in most cases, coronavirus is the cormobidity, not the other way round. It blows things out of proportion and creates unnecessary panic.

Unfortunately almost all deaths now are linked to covid 19. In UK for example, influenza and pneumonia that kill people in hundreds and thousands every month suddenly recorded an all time low in 5 years since March this year, simply because most of influenza/pneumonia related deaths are now attributed to covid 19 - misrepresentation of facts.

In 2018 there were 228 million cases of malaria, and 405 thousand deaths worldwide. This translates into more than 33 thousand deaths monthly. Still nations' economies were not shut down.

But malaria is not contagious you may argue, oh yes, but there have been the flu, SARS etc that were caused by virus in the past that are equally as deadly, which killed thousands of people in their initial phases and were contained subsequently without causing a pandemic and shutting down economies.

Corona virus has been around for decades and most of the strains are harmless. There's no proof that people that test positive for corona virus actually test positive for covid 19. There are not one and the same.

The hardship that will follow as the aftermath of this global lockdown will be catastrophic.

Wake up people and see that what is happening now was carefully contrived.

Most people in critical conditions in isolation centers, already have underlying critical health conditions caused by other illnesses. Have you asked yourself why your governors that recently tested positive are now negative in a matter of days? Don't be stupid

Besides, I'm not saying this a total hoax, but the fact is that coronovirus has numerous strains that have been around and that are not as deadly as covid 19. And they are using a one-fits-all test for all the different strains, this is the fraud.

Very true. If the virus is what we are told it is, nearly everybody in Nigeria will have contracted it. For example, the state government in Ogun State advised people to stuck up as lock down will be enforced. As a result of this markets were filled up with people pushing themselves to buy here and there with lots of body and fluid contacts. After 4 days of lock down, the govt allowed this people to to go to market again from 7am - 2pm. Same pushing and contacts occurred. To the learned people,is the virus what they said it is?

They have around 40,000 excess winter deaths in the UK (from pneumonia, influenza etc), they had a prolonged cold spell in Feb/March, the numbers of those supposedly dying are not in fact significant. Germany and Italy both have 25,000 influenza excess winter deaths, that's excess on top of the normal average figure, so you're looking at nearer 50,000 flu deaths alone in any one year.

Absolute truth, the way we live our lives in this country and the way the virus transmit would have killed us all here.
