Nice doing business with you bobo. But for battery performance I'll rate the phone 8/10. I've been pressing this babe since since 5pm after charging. I've downloaded apps tweaked to my taste and still on it. Though it's 1.30am and am on 9%. So battery is fine for now

I do have access to cow dung and goat droppings and neem leaves. Can i add the animal manure and also wet daily with soaked neem leaves after planting. Am not that familiar with lacto bacilus preparations. Am actually starting the nursery on Saturday. Time na money sir. Thanks in anticipation sir
organicfoods:
You can sterilize the soil by heating. .. It does take a lot of efforts though. Now that the sun intensity is high, you can cover the soil with transparent nylon for at least two months.. . The heat generated and trapped will sterilized the soil. You can also spread fresh manure on the soil.. Brewer waste and chicken manure can reach very high temprature during the process of decomposition hence can effectively sterilize the soil. Also you can drench the soil with water rich in emulsified neem solution. Beneficial microbes like lacto bacillus and trichodemia Viride can be used to colonize the soil and knock off disease causing pathogen in the soil.

Pls what organic method can be applied to an infected soil. I posted a similar question on your sack farming thread. How can neem leaves be applied effectively.

Following ur threads has opened my eyes to a lot on organic farming. I did a reading on the use of neem leaves on soil sterilization and fertilization. Reason was an outbreak on our school farm. The soil is quite rich but i think contaminated by now. Can you pls shed more light on the solution to correcting all anomalies in the soil without using chemicals sir. We are planning to plant tomatoes and pepper and cucumbers next week using sacks on the school balcony

I do appreciate your suggestion. Made some calls, but the prices I've heard so far is neck breaking and buying online from aliexpress will take almost a month. If any one can help i would appreciate and also post pics for advice as we progress.
lanre2009:
I think the school should be able to provide you guys with seeds or have the students contribute to buy the seeds.....just my opinion....Cheers!

I just stumbled on your page while on jethros page. Am an agric science teacher and also passionate about farming as well. I know this quote is old but ill very much like to practicalise using sack. I and my students have a mini farm which is actually a small balcony of first floor 6ft by 2ft. We just harvested our tomatoes which were infested by disease. So we think we can try out cucumber and harvest by December. Pls could you help us with some seeds plssssssssssssssssssss.

I can remember I promised to give out free seed to followers of this thread. at least I gave some out to kalusam which he has planted and am glad to see his progress. please if you're interested in getting few sample seeds. indicate. let me use this one as new year gift. please note that the seed must enter ground. by fire by force. by friday next week, I'll dispatch to 3 locations. to abeokuta, ibadan and lagos. choose the location nearest to you and comment here, to get your own free seed. pls, even if you don't have land or space. you can plant in sack bags. I'll upload a picture example soonest.

Considering the economic situation of the country. How much will one spend while in training for 3months. Accommodation feeding, transport, and other miscellaneous expenses. How much do you think one should budget for. I might have to resign from my present job to attend the training. Do send an email to seggy9979@yahoo.co.uk

My tomato seeds finally arrive today after a month of waiting from Singapore, China.

Each packs contain 100 pieces.

If you need packs of tomato seedlings. I am willingly to sell for you as the 20 packs I order is too much for my personal use.

Please feel free to order. I stays in Abuja.
