If you read ma previous comments then i think you should be able to comprehend all i av been saying......na people like you go see a Nigerian take food off airplane in 'takeaway' packs and say they are uncultured, and then see a white man in business class section do the same and say he is been humble or conservative. Because you flew sosoliso once or twice makes you think you have all d experience and you are posh....mschew!
[/s]

Zelinjo: @antoinne, it's amusing to see someone so confident in their ignorance.
Nothing is free.
If you know anything about accounting or business, you would know that before a price is set, a margin has to be agreed upon after taking into consideration all costs.
All costs including the one you're ignorantly calling free. Meaning that if you remove the cost of food, it will result in either higher margin and profits for the company or a reduced ticket price for you.
You sound more local and ignorant than the people you're insulting .
It's not only free. Free ko. Free ni. who is this one ? |

. . . the moment this quiet thread was moved to FP all forms of typical Nigerian xters have latched on!!!!!!
Not surprised though, my earlier comments in pages 2 and 3 have justified that flights on BA stands out as the highest culprits where these Nigerians continually desecrate basic moral judgments |

damiso: I cant stand those too but some people are wombiliki wombia ;D and can chop anything choppable . I think the argument should have been more on the heath issues that could be associated with it rather than the issue of being 'cultured' or not.
Our standards on what count as cultured really really varies. We had one long drawn out argument on family section on whether it was bad manners to cook in the kitchen of someone you met the night before and I thought it was rude. Loads of people did not see anything wrong with it. I hold myself to that standard but I learnt that day 'manners' 'etquette' and 'cultured' are very varied and subjective things that mean different things to different people.
I wont take airline food off the plane but I wont call people who might 'uncultured'. Ori iya mi ooooo una no go kill person |

grandma na person too na
OP and you guys should chill joorr. I wont take airline food off the plane cos I don't really dig a lot of the food but to be honest I don't really see anything wrong with it.
For short haul flights they might be complimentary, but for long haul it is definitely included in your ticket price.
If it was 'free' the quantity and sometimes even quality of food served in First and Business class wont be different from that served in Economy. if it is "included" in price can i ask for it to be taken off me i be ijebu oooooo i ve never seen it in price break down though. its just natural that u get "entertained" on these journeys. if i come ur house u no go gimme/offer me water ni? |
