I000Capacity:@ Old Law of Moses is the national Constitution of God's nation of Israel which He constituted of the people of Israel in the Land of Canaan. @ the Gospel is the national Constitution of the Kingdom of God which is a Kingdom not of this world that is of the Lost sheep of Israel Both Kingdoms belong to God but are under different Covenants/Laws. |

Beautifulday:1. And it is for this reason that I dislike the use of this term "Spirit of prophecy" as a blanket statement. Yes, Abraham had a different spirit of prophecy than did the prophets of Old. Even the so-called prophets that lived in the land of Judah after the death of Jesus Christ, the one who is in fact the last prophet, also had a different spirit of prophecy than that which the Prophets of Old did. Did, you ever wonder why Paul never needed the warnings to that was given him by the many prophets who approached him on his way to Jerusalem? 2. That depends on your meaning of Prophesy but the fact is, what Jesus Christ instead said of the Holy Spirit is that He would shew the followers that belong to Him of things to come, things that are of Him and those things that are of Jesus Christ are not of this earth and are of the Everlasting Kingdom of God, nothing else. |

optm:I doubt in this case that I am the one here who is not grounded in Scripture.John 13:28-29 NKJV.... Again, this is what Jesus Christ, who Himself lived according to the Old Law of Moses, said to His followers whom He called to a different Kingdom and a different Law... 15 “If you love me, you will do what I command.Where, in all of the Gospels, did Jesus Christ ask/command/instruct you to use His name to collect money on behalf of what you call Kingdom work? This here is instead what Jesus Christ said of those who would use His name to collect from the sheep. 7 So Jesus said again, “I assure you, I am the gate for the sheep.A worker is paid by the good shepherd Himself, but a thief comes to steal from the sheep, to kill the fat of the sheep and destroy the flock of God. |

optm:They had a treasury DOES NOT mean the same thing as the Kingdom of God needing your money though. Jesus Christ said those who belong to Him are those who do as He commands. So, you are better off showing me where Jesus Christ instead commands you to have a treasury like the one you described there. 1 Like 1 Share |

Beautifulday:What you are pretty much asking is what the difference is between the "Spirit of Prophesy" which is believed to have been placed by God on those whom He chose as Prophets/messengers whom He then sent out on behalf of the people of Israel(not your churchian idea of prophets), and the Spirit of Truth whom Jesus Christ promised to ask His Father to send to every one of those who are loved by Him? The best approach would be to investigate what the Law says of each one of them then. Are you willing to search through the Law of Moses at least for details regarding the "spirit of Prophecy"? Or is it that you wish for me to do all of the work for you? |

siant:I finally found an old discussion of this sort and decided to go with the response there instead. sholay2011:What most people who claim to believe don't realize is that God's original plan had been to speak directly to the people of Israel Himself. But the people, too afraid, demanded that Moses speak to them on behalf of God instead. 18 During all this time, the people in the valley heard the thundering and saw the lightning on the mountain. They saw smoke rising from the mountain and heard the sound of the trumpet. They were afraid and shook with fear. They stood away from the mountain and watched. It is for this reason that God of Israel, YHWH, set up His system of Prophets. 1. The God of Israel, YHWH, is the one who instituted the Prophet's system as part of His Old Law of Moses The Lord heard this.2. The same God of Israel announced through Daniel that before the end of Last Days — the conclusion of His Judgment against the Nation of Israel(and Judah), He would bring to an end the time of the Prophets and visions. 24 “God has allowed 70 weeks for your people and your holy city, Daniel. The 70 weeks are ordered for these reasons: to stop doing bad things, to stop sinning, to make people pure, to bring the goodness that continues forever, to put a seal on visions and prophets , and to dedicate a very holy place. - Daniel 9 vs 243. The same God of Israel, YHWH, announced through the prophet Joel that before the end of the Last Days, He would pour out His Spirit on all young men and women in the land of Zion. 28 “After this, I will pour out my Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions. Jesus Christ was the last prophet sent by God to the people of Israel as this is noted both in the parable spoken by Jesus Christ Himself. John the Baptist was the last of the Old Covenant prophets sent by the God of Israel. Jesus Christ confirmed this Himself. All the other prophets that came after those two are a result of God pouring out His Spirit on all of the daughters and sons of Zion in the land during the same generation that the disciples lived in. This all took place about 1900 years ago. Paul was aware of this. He knew that the prophets in the land during the last days were not, in fact, prophets like the old — sent by God to the people of Israel. The "Prophets" in the land at the time were not messengers of God like the Old Prophets. They were not holy and righteous men like the Old Prophets that God had previously sent to His people in His Name; these "prophets" at the time were sinners many of whom were due to be cursed by God for their refusal to obey His Law. God didn't send them to any man or woman in the land of Israel. Neither were they to deliver messages to anyone using His name. The "Prophets" in the land at the time were rather a result of God opening up the fountain of communication so He could directly communicate with everyone in the land before His final judgment was pronounced upon them. It is for that reason that Paul refused to heed their warnings, and chose instead to do that which was before Him. |

optm:LOL.... you were on about Tithing and I showed you where the Law on tithing is defined — for the nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan alone — and how it has nothing to do with the Law of the Kingdom of God, now we are on to the Kingdom of God. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Kingdom of God does not need your money at all. Jesus Christ, the King in the Kingdom of God, pretty much hinted at this when He informed you that you would have to sell everything you have and own and give it all away to the poor if you wish to become worthy of Him. 😁 |

optm:That shows you are lying! Even in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20, God of Israel is recorded to have sealed the document as belongings to the nation of Israel which He constituted in the land of Canaan of those who are descendants of the blood like that is Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Meaning no other can pretend to the same. For you to assert that the God of Israel did not mean that which He stated in His Law means you don't believe in Him at all. His name is probably just a means to an end for you as it is for most religious folks out there. |

God of Israel was the direct King of Israel until the people began agitating for a human king to sit on earth as His representative. Read through the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy to learn facts apart from these lies you spew in support of a system that belongs to the AntiChrist abeg! |

What YHWH instituted in the nation of Israel in the land of Canaan is His Taxation system which doubled as a welfare system for ensuring those He installed as administrators in the land were taken care of. Your tithing system in your religion today manned by your many mogs and gods of men has no connection or resemblance to that system whatsoever. Your religious leaders are merely scammers/thieves stealing from people using the name of a God they have no connection — direct or otherwise — to. |

Callistus96:1. Most people don't need another religion to cause these things. They knew their ancestors were evil from when they lived. I mean imagine a child who was sold into slavery or abandoned by his own father and mother. Do you think it would take a religion to convince him of the facts before him? 2. What ancestral world? Join ancestors were? In the ground where all dead end up? 3. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So, these ancestors need to have their consciousness created by your person in order — a delusion so to speak— for them to be of use? |
Religion / Re: Family Tithing In The Diaspora by Kobojunkie: 4:47am On Apr 30 |
optm:1. Um... Jesus Christ did not come to condemned anyone for obeying the Old Law. After all, He too lived His life in submission to the same Old Law which is His Father's Will. He instead condemned those who pretended by word only to obey but lived in outright disobedience of it. Hence the reason why He condemned the religious leaders of His time including their doctrines and traditions. That said, Jesus Christ called His followers to following a different Law which He came to bring to them, and Tithing was not included as a part of the New Law. So, anyone who claims to be of Jesus Christ but pretends to hold onto the old rejects Jesus Christ. Handing money to your gods of men while pretending you do so on behalf of God or Jesus Christ does not cause God to change His mind or Law to accommodate your particular foolishness. Remember God hates the foolish and has nothing to do with them. Even Jesus Christ said the blind will fall into the same ditch their blind leaders will fall into. There is no part in Jesus Christ for such foolishness. |

rexbuton:You don't deserve the money but a pastor man who will now use it to pay off his mortgage or even buy his next private jet is the one who is more deserving of it, abi? For almost 2000 years, Jesus Christ, who never asked anyone for a dime of their money, has never owned a bank account or been shown to have received even a penny from any religious leader, yet Christians(religionists) claim they have given him tons of their wealth by way of their Mogs and Pastors. Caaz, ever considered having your kids, particularly the young boy, host a cooking show to teach his peers how to basic some of the same basic foods he has learned? You can create a channel for him to use on YouTube where he goes over the steps and process from scratch to finish. You can gave him maybe wear a small cute mask or face mask to hide his face from those who might recognize him and stuff. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

This prediction was meant as a warning for Paul but Paul went ahead and allowed it to come to pass anyway. Why was the prophecy of no value to Paul? There is a reason behind that. |
