AntiChristian:1. This and Scripture isn't about what it means to me. These words were written, many thousands of years ago, and the meaning that applies is that one intended by the author, not the one I assume or prefer. ![]() 2. Jesus Christ was begotten from the Father. From what we know this took place long before humans came into the picture so to assert the human reproductive model as an explanation is flawed. So, to insist it has to be like my father beget me is ridiculous since my father is not like God, and the model which is my father did not come into being until after Jesus Christ was begotten by His Father. ![]() 3. I don't follow! The English language has undergone so many changes in the last 100 years. So, what use is it for me to hold on to an outdated English translation now? ![]() |
AntiChristian:According to whom? You are making this bold declaration but not sharing with us where the idea itself comes from. Why? Again, what exactly is particularly wrong with the Magi story; you have yet to explain that part to us. ![]() |
Cromagnon:Wait a second.... so laborers who are the cogs behind the wheels of the running of the country do not deserve better pay because you assume they did not go to school and did not apply for jobs as well? Yikes! Who do una these things abeg! ![]() |
Ekulegold:Anything less than 250K na joke given the state of things in that country and the fact that it is bound to get a lot worse. ![]() |
AbuTwins:1. But they cannot submit to Jesus Christ's teachings, ways of salvation, etc., since the story leads us to knowing they were foreigners — not of the blood of Jacob. So, again, why would you assume submission their particular submission has to do with that though? ![]() Also, I do like the fact that you noted from this example that bowing down to worship another being is merely a superficial act on the part of those who do the bowing. We see this in other cases equally recorded in Scripture including the passage below. 45 “King Nebuchadnezzar, you saw a rock cut from a mountain, but no one cut that rock. The rock broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold to pieces. In this way, God showed you what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and you can trust that this is what it means.”Here we have an idol worshipper in the person of Nebuchadnezzar, himself an idol to be worshipped by his people, bowing down to the prophet Daniel. Nebuchadnezzar, even after this act is recorded to have continued worshiping his very own gods. Again, this is to make you see and understand how in Scripture the act of bowing down is merely superficial honor and has not much to do with an act of actual worship of God Himself who can only be worshipped by way of His Law— obedience of the details of commandments that is. ![]() 2. That is as far as your Allah though. You fail to make a point the moment you attempt to suggest what applies as far as your Allah ought also to apply where Scripture is concerned. That is a Fail, a non-starter. ![]() 3. That's the pagan reasoning, sure, but again, what part of scripture says a Pagan cannot worship one who belongs to God of Israel and even offer gifts though? ![]() 4. The only reason the analogies seem illogical is that you keep attempting to subject that which is instead of Scripture to your Islamic — religious — ideals. It never works primarily since the God of Israel — YHWH — has next to nothing in common with the Allah of the Muslims or any other religious entity out there. His, the God of Israel's, Laws are all that His own are required to live by; anything else aside from His Law amounts to Bullsheet. ![]() There is no law, even in the book of Moses, that condemns a foreigner for bowing down to one who belongs to the God of Israel in reverence of Him. There is no law in the book of Moses that condemns the bringing of gifts or honoring of any one of the prophets of God of Israel by a foreigner. There are no laws that pretend that foreigners to the land are to be subjected to the Law of Moses. Your insistence that that which is not of the Law be the case makes your argument all the more ridiculous. ![]() |
AntiChristian:But what exactly is particularly wrong with the Magi story; you have yet to explain that part to us. ![]() |
Threedoorsdown:Explain please! ![]() |
CrossRhodes:Nonsense! Anything less than N250,000 is a joke! ![]() |
meum:WIth inflation at an all-time high, they better demand nothing less than Naira 250,000. This sheet has not hit the fan yet! ![]() |
Threedoorsdown:1. Wrong! He made absolutely no valid point of any kind. ![]() 2. If the people in those states see no reason to agitate for better pay for themselves, then why should NLC be forced to forfeit its chance as a result? ![]() |
blamingthedevil:1. The NLC is working for the NLC. ![]() 2. The workers in those 15 states ought to stand up and fight for their raise. Why attack NLC for agitating for a better pay package for themselves? ![]() 3. Benefit to ordinary Nigerians? Are the NLC members the politicians who were elected by ordinary Nigerians or what? ![]() |
OmoGomesIlorin:LOL... See bending and twisting abeg! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
FreedomfromtheT:I heard rubbish from the mouth of Kumuyi in the video. ![]() |
AntiChristian:1. Seems more to me that you are the one not paying attention at all! Look again at what is written in the particular verse. Right there it mentions that this one-of-a-kind/unique being— Only-Begotten— is a Son. ![]() 2. See the second image. ![]()
|
FreedomfromtheT:You mean what Kumuyi is recorded to have said himself in the video is falsehood? ![]() |
AbuTwins:1. Where do you get these tales by moonlight ideas of yours from? Where in Scripture is this written? ![]() 2. You haven't taken out time to read and digest the contents of Scripture without bias, have you? ![]() The Law of Moses, as the God of Israel made clear even in Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20, applied only to the children of Israel — individuals born of the literal blood of Jacob coursing through their veins — in the nation of Israel and the land of Canaan. God's dealings with his people were according to His Law with them. His mandate of obedience to His Law He gave only to the children of Israel. However, He, God of Israel, dealt differently with those who were not of His people, Israel. This we see well in stories told of events that took place during the time of the captivity of the Nation of Judah. The Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and even the Romans under whom the Judeans served were not subjected to the same law and rules by the God of Israel. ![]() The prophet Daniel is a good case study. In Daniel 2, we read that the God of Israel used Daniel, His prophet, to save the lives of the foreign sorcerers who served the King of Babylon, a move counter to the law which He gave to His people in Exodus 22 vs 18 & Deuteronomy 18 vs 10. God of Israel created a place for Daniel in the courts of King Nebuchadnezzar from where Daniel was then able to use his position to the benefit of other Israelites(Jews in particular) who were captives in the land. ![]() Nebuchadnezzar was an idolator; he not only worshipped idols but had his people worship him as god over them. Nebuchadnezzar ![]() 45 “King Nebuchadnezzar, you saw a rock cut from a mountain, but no one cut that rock. The rock broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold to pieces. In this way, God showed you what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and you can trust that this is what it means.”Yes, an idolater and one who used sorcery and magic bowed down and worshipped Daniel. Does this equally mean that Daniel was, according to you, a colleague? ![]() |
YModulosGodSon:So, what if the news was transmitted back then? The fact is the man did relocate, right? This is all while he continues to urge his followers not to follow the wave. ![]() |
FreedomfromtheT:Yes, this man is a god of men among many gods of men in the nation of Nigeria. His success in indoctrinating his many followers cannot be overlooked. His many morose followers contributed immensely to making Nigeria what it is today. ![]() Heard he relocated to the UK — not Afghanistan or China or Iran —, so you don't forget to forward your greetings over there to him. ![]() |
AntiChristian:I gave you more than five references there from within the Gospels where He did. But seems to me you are only interested in arguing from point of ignorance here. To believe in Jesus Christ means, and this is from all that He said in Scripture, to accept all of Him— His teachings and commandments; it is clear in His Gospel that for one to be saved, one must believe/accept Him — all of Him, not some. ![]() |
AntiChristian:In this particular case, the evidence clearly shows that Paul did not misquote any of the two passages you accuse him of. ![]() |
AbuTwins:1. Because? ![]() 2. The God of Israel makes it mandatory that witches be put to death by Mary or by Jesus Christ or whom? ![]() If it be mandatory that all witches and wizards be put to death as you claim , then why did He save the lies of the witches of Babylon in Daniel 2? ![]() 3. So, it is only right that it go according to your whim and not as God Wills? ![]() 4. Because even in today's world, all people respect God, abi? ![]() It is the lazy minded way you put these things together for me... Why not spend more time actually reading through the book to learn facts from delusions at least. ![]() |
amaridigital:1. This so-called universal mandate is your excuse for his relocation to the UK instead of remaining in Nigeria. why him no relocate to Afghanistan then? ![]() 2. Legitimate Japa! You people and twisting ehn! So, even though the man is reported to have asked people not to bother with Japa but stay the course in Nigeria, you don twist am make e instead mean say him dey warn against illegal Japa. The very fact that you are willing to cook up lies all in defense of your gods of men means you are aware that these men are flawed beings and you are required to prop them up by your power -- even if you have to lie for them --- to keep them seeming holy to you. There is a psychological explanation for that which you do, and it has to do with choosing to live in denial of the facts in front of you. ![]() 3. I am afraid old age gives no man a pass to continue spreading lies using God's name. ![]() |
Timfreds:They change history by turning masses/humans into morons, zombies, essentially of no use to anyone but their own pockets and whims? Your own idea of changing history get serious problem. ![]() |
Saviourk:LOL... Jesus Christ was against Religion beginning with Judaism the very religion that existed during His own time. He cast down all of the religious leaders of his time, their blind followers, as well as their doctrines and traditions which He proclaimed were all lies. Christianity happens to be a religion that was modelled after that very same religion and worse used to trade lies using the name of Jesus Christ. Of course, as one who submits to and obeys Jesus Christ, pointing out everyone of those lies is something I should never shy away from. ![]() |
BlowYourMind:Imagine the evasive one calling me evasive. I even gave you an example of what Kumuyi never says yet you continue tmto insist there is no evidence. Like I said earlier, mindless.... ![]() |
BlowYourMind:There is absolutely no confusion here except the one you assume. Again, Kumuyi's claims regarding even that which concerns being born-again is at variance with that declared by Jesus Christ in His own Gospel and Law in the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom which He, Jesus Christ, is King and Judge over. For example, Kumuyi's doctrine on the topic does not align in any way with that written in John 3 vs 1 - 21. It does not agree with Jesus Christ who said His Father sent Him only to the Lost sheep of Israel ans warned His followers not to give that which is Holy --- the Gospel of the Kingdom of God ---; to the dogs aka the Non-israelites. And this is only one example.. ![]() |
BlowYourMind:All of them beginning from your very beliefs about whi can be born again and who can't including the how, the what, when, where, etc What Kumuyi preaches does not align with Jesus Christ and His Gospel. ![]() |
BlowYourMind:1..Absolutely none of your doctrines are taken from Scripture at all. ![]() 2. Absolutely none of Kumuyi's teachings can be considered direct application of Bible or Scriptural doctrines. They all all instead his ideas -- doctrines and traditions belonging to him formed in such a way as to pretend they are sanctioned by God. ![]() There were no pants, cars, of credit cards, internet, phones, toothbrushes or regular showers during Jesus Christ's time but that has not stopped you lot from using them now has it? ![]() |
BlowYourMind:But Temptation isn't defined as that which will corrupt and supposedly derail from heaven either. Sin is what you described and that is exactly what Kumuyi taught his people regarding use of TV, among other things, until he changed his mind regarding them. ![]() |
BlowYourMind:But that which will corrupt and supposedly derail from heaven is exactly what sin is. So, by your own admission, I clearly didn't lied here, and there is no cup of bitterness but truth offered to you from me. ![]() |
