swiz123:I swear down. I think he did that brilliantly. In this situation, he is wrong or simply blind to the truth. This is a situation whereby silence is golden. I think that is the reason other reasonable people here are silent. If you're not sure of something, you keep quiet. |
donjazet:You are indeed a very brilliant fellow notwithstanding the abuses you are receiving. This post was indeed brilliant. I do support most of your positions especially on the American politics section but i do not support your current position. I strongly disagree with you. I think that perhaps you haven't adequately researched on this issue before taking your stand. You also seem to support the status quo of the situation in your country. Many African countries have been yearning for a political revolution to take place. I do think that this is the beginning of that. If Nigeria is successful in this, other countries will follow suit. You will have to be a selfish person who perhaps things are working out for who doesn't see the need for change but that is selfish coming from someone who prides himself on intellectualism (especially in the American politics section). Please watch this clip below and see for yourself all the evidence you need. I really disagree with you on this. Take it from someone who really admires your contributions there. https://mobile.twitter.com/12dddd3356/status/1319328078502498305 |
A mass shooting just happened in Nebraska. |
Could you guys minimize the insults and just exchange words cordially? |
Disstroy, i have seen your post but because of the numerous points you made and the length of your post, I will highlight the points individually and respond to them. But for the time being, let me quickly highlight some points you made and respond to them. First of all, to understand Obama's presidency, you have to understand the very dire situation and circumstances he faced. I see that most of your points is centered on foreign policy. Obama inherited and met a destabilized Middle East and a shambolic economy. The way you are going on about this, one would think that Obama instigated the problems in the Middle East, I see how you have disingenuously left out the role played by George Bush in starting needless wars there and the role played by Regan in arming Libya and later doing an about face. The very funny thing about you conservatives is that you will term democrats weak and soft on crime or terrorism and when the democrats now try to use force, you will turn around to now criticize the forceful strategy, convienetly leaving out the fact that republican presidents have done far worse. How did George Bush Jr come into power? Towards the end of Clinton's tenure, the Islamic fundamentalists in the Middle East (who Regan had armed) started becoming terrorists and even bombed an American embassy, Clinton tried negotiating with them softly, to which republicans started criticizing Clinton as being very weak on terrorists and started pushing for America to use "it's full military might" to confront the terrorists and voted in the candidate who promised to do just that. On the Clinton crime bill which you criticized, again I love how you skip precedence to shape your narrative. During bush's snr reelection campaign, his primary rhetoric was that the democrats were very soft on crime, they kept using the face of black criminals who were pardoned to trigger white fear that democrats were very soft on crime which the democrats responded to by creating that crime bill. Listen the truth is that whatever you think Obama did wrong, the republicans have done much worse. The Republicans are the worse war mongers. The democrats actually advocate cutting the military spending bill which is usually close to one trillion dollars and channeling that money into better health care for Americans, but guess the president that vetoes this and brags about how he has the biggest military spending bill. Yes, I agree that so far, trump hasn't started any war in the Middle East and a part of me wishes it remains so but what happens if he does this during his second tenure, after all, Obama also started his during his second term. What will he do if he suddenly finds himself in Obama's shoe's where suddenly there is a new destabilized country about to get a brand new nuclear weapon? Or Russia suddenly annexes further parts of Eastern Europe and starts making inroads and military incursions into a new territory suddenly?? These were the new challenges then Obama faced then and now we now have hindsight on our side to know that perhaps some of his responses were wrong, but what happens when a new sudden dire situation arises Can we bank on Trump to respond with a diplomatic or cool head? We have seen how he has also terribly handled North Korea, first he was petty and aggressive, trading insults with Kim, then he claimed he wanted peace with them, that failed utterly and North Korea is still amassing nuclear weapons. What happens when they fire one? How will trump react? I'll reply your further points on the media and cancel culture and the rest below. |
Happney65, why the ban? |
basilico:It comes to no one as a surprise that you are one of the most foolish and brainless cultist here. I gave you a full breakdown of how the two parties realigned both geographically and demographically over the last 5 decades, but as expected from the uneducated trump cultists here who watch Fox News via poor Startimes, you couldn't retort with facts, rather going down the road of supposition and assumptions. Answer one simple question. How did southern racist slave states like Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, north and South Carolina, Georgia etc switch from solidly blue to solidly red? How did the more developed slave resisting northern states like New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Chicago, Michigan etc switch from solidly red to solidly blue? Secondly, why do you think the civil rights leaders all align with the Democratic Party? What do you think makes the Democratic Party have a very vast array of diverse leaders and candidates, from black, Latino and Asian backgrounds with more women while the Republican Party is predominantly white men?? Start using your brain, dumb basilico. Stop being a cultist. You say the democrats are only "playing towards" or pandering to minorities, is it not better than the one that outrightly hates the minorities (of which you are one) and sees them as threats? Again, start using your brain and stop being dumb basilico. |
Please can someone tell me how this game is played? |
