Joezinho:So you think it's possible for people to be tired of Buhari but not APC? You think that someone with clear eye will go and vote for a party that has totally failed again? Please tell me as outsider why I should support Tinubu? Sell him to me please. I would like to hear from him. |
This is just funny. ![]() People are actually defending the sheer nonsense uttered by tinubu. Recruit 50 MILLION YOUTHS. Do you people know what 50 million is? Somebody here is saying that people love the military, well yeah, maybe 100 thousand people, definitely NOT 50 MILLION YOUTHS! Even the bandits in Africa are not up to 1or 2 million at most! And someone is saying recruit 50 million youths and you're one of those clapping in the crowd. Shame. |
EmmanuelScott1:This people have become spin doctors. Every sensible human being that hears that speech automatically knows that that speech by tinubu exposes his lack of indepth knowledge. Recruit 50 MILLION YOUTHS. What they will eat, CASSAVA ABGADO CORN. Check that statement in-depthly and see the sheer madness in it. Do you Know that even the biggest military on earth is not a quarter of that number? We should recruit half of the entire youth population in the army and their daily meal will be garri and corn. He didn't say anything about processed food oo. He said cassava and corn! Yet his spin doctors are here telling people "what he meant" not "what he said". That people are allowed to get away with saying such nonsenses here is surprising. |
izzou:I disagree with the last bolded, a lot of people who are outside the country may definitely not vote but their narratives are capable of impacting upon people. Afterall the only reason we're here is to impact our own knowledge on other people. There is something called "conditioning". If you repeat a lie several times, it becomes believable. For example, if many known people here start simultaneously saying Buhari is actually a good president and high performing president, at first you might be shocked, but when the narrative is constant and the messengers keep repeating the message and giving examples of how he has increased the arm forces and constructed this or that, you suddenly start questioning your reality. Your mind becomes "conditioned" to believe this outright falsehood that Buhari is a high performing leader and a good president. That is the danger of false rhetorics. Constant repetition begins to make it appear truthful. We are currently experiencing that with people who are now selling a clearly weak and senile man as the most capable man to lead Nigeria, in a country full of capable hands like Peter Obi. |
Itsrm:You are correct. The number one issue with African populace and their government is lack of trust because of gross mismanagement of public funds. But I saw a clip that was circulating yesterday, where Obi said answered yes and no to the question of subsidy removal. He said that what the government was subsidizing was inefficiency , he further called it a scam and I completely agree with him. He agreed with the "sentiment" of subsidy. He believes that fuel should be subsidized but it should be done in an efficient and transparent manner, not one where there are not enough systems of checks and balances that serves as avenues for a few people to steal trillions of naira in a legalized manner. Do you agree with that sentiment? He says subsidy is good but it should be done in a very transparent system. |
seankafor:I live in Nigeria oo. We have roots here. I'm not just concerned about Nigeria alone sha, I want all African countries to sit up. Our democracy doesn't measure up with what it's supposed to be, luckily Nigeria and Ghana are not part of the countries where one person rules for 30 years in the name of democracy and hands over to a family member. We still have hope that a bad government can actually be voted out, that's why you see me happy that many Nigerians are waking up and actually doing something about bad leadership rather than just the normal lamenting. I won't vote but I strongly support the Obi movement. It has really helped in awakening many people to the process of democracy and that alone is a very significant victory for all of us. |
Oasis007:Before you make any post, you post a smiling emoji, but i have to ask, what is really funny about Nigeria's situation right now? Are you laughing about Buhari's incompetence and failure of the security structure on the country? Are you laughing as to how the 2 top candidates are in foreign countries right now or what exactly? Your constant image laundering of the party? |
Wow |
I hope people recognize that they mean propaganda setting. |
BlueRayDick:Reading this just reminded me of this meme and how Atiku hijacked the ticket.
|
LeoDeKing:Seun, lalasticlala, mynd44. Why do you super moderators continue to let hateful and inciteful rhetorics on your platforms? Do something about this guy. He is an agent of hate. |
We keep representing. ![]() |
Dementia has really caught up with the man. |
BlueRayDick:This sole single line that proponents of Tinubu use that "Tinubu built Lagos" has to be the most extreme show of stupidity. First of, there is no governor or administrator that can ever be called a poor performer because of the sheer amount of resources to work with. Lagos pre 1999 was still as it has ever been. The biggest state in Nigeria and city in Africa. Lagos has all the resources that makes it a cosmopolitan area, that is a place where people of all nationalities and tribes settle to make a living. Nobody can ever attribute that to one single person. That is an exhibition of stupidity in the highest order. I see people posting pictures and videos of developed Lagos and I ask myself, do these people really think that without Tinubu, these things wouldn't be possible? Or that he's even the sole reason why those things are there? Has Tinubu been a governor for 19 years? So just like that, every single effort of amnbode, fashola and jakande are all because of Tinubu? That is madness. Lagos pre1999 has always been the hub of African development, if anything, that development has relatively slowed down. Lagos should be better than Cairo or Johannesburg but that is not the case and people are here elevating failure. |
Yes ooo. My people always demand for the very best of leadership. Much better than the docility of nigerians. |
Saw this on Twitter.
|
donstan18:Do you believe that? I think he's around 80 on the dot. |
mikuz:This man is obviously very old. Normally age shouldn't be a factor, you look at Biden and you see him still riding bikes, still jogging. You can tell that he is still physically fit. Some whites may be 85 in age but 60 in body while some people would be 70 in age but 90 in body. Tinubu belongs to the latter. His body is already failing him. He is rumored to have early onset of parkinson's disease. The man is supposed to retire and rest. |
Wikipedia just updated Tinubu's age as 83 years old. Make of that what you will. ![]() https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bola_Tinubu And mind you, his page has a special lock status, which means only the website editors can change this information. This is usually applied to high status individuals.

Just look at it. Following the conversation now, one can see that the people all attacking the guy are Yoruba names. Oyindamola, joezinho, nihilist,. Why am I not surprised? The yoruba people are one of the most tribalistic people in Africa. When that raum guy said they should chase ibos away, he clearly wasn't joking. It has already happened before. He wants history to repeat itself this time, with another people. |
popizaino:Bro bone this shit. The Yorubas chased us from their settlements. At that time, the landlords ganged up to evict all Ghanian tenants had and the federal government provided buses to take Ghanaians back to their country. This is why I connected with what the guy was saying. |
Ibime:Me sef no come understand. And going by what has been revealed here, it is the nihilist guy that clearly has a lot of alternate accounts because he know needs it for all the fights he creates here. Foolish somebody. |
nihilistjnr:Dude you are an idiot. So because I called out your foolishness, that makes me a clone right? Leave my name out of your mothafucking mouth. |
Griffon:You know that there are soo many different groups right? Even some parts of Ibo don't identify with ibo people. |
All of you saying I am someone else are not well. But if it helps you sleep well at night, fine. That's your business. But this is the example of the group mentality being talked about, one person says something and the rest jump on it, no questions asked. Me I don't have time for you guys. Enjoy your group. |
BlueRayDick:I doubt this is practical. But I wish it happens for you guys. In my country, there is less tribal division and that is because there are not too many conflicting tribes. |
nihilistjnr:Alt to who? It's madness that holding all of you. |
Griffon:What do you propose to be the solution? Remember that these things are not being said by a person from the north, if it was a person from the north, you could say, divide the country into north and south, but even the south is divided among itself. This one is double wahala. ![]() |
donjazetl:Bro, I would join those who are calling for you to take a break. You've been fighting on your own for 3 days now. Today suppose be holy day na. . But know that not everyone condemns you. You have actually opened my eyes to some kind of characters that are here and I like your use of words but you have to calm down by fire by force, you are taking on every single person and that is not healthy I swear. Take a break. |
Maximilan:You would not expect his fellow Yoruba folks to call him out, it's bad but sadly this is the reality. My people were kicked out of Lagos in the 80's. So I'm not all too surprised. The Ghana must go mantra was a sad moment for my people but I'm glad it happened, it forced us to sit up and face our own country and we have become much better for it. I just wish people would actually speak out against hate. |
I actually think donjazet is right here. I disagree with some of his views and think he blows too hot a lot of times but on this, he is very right. Immediately I saw izu post about his hardship, my mind just told me that people were going to use this thing against him in the future. People here follow the group mentality a lot and hardly go against the tide. |
