one Nigeria is a huge scam. We are divided by everything including language, dialects, religion, sects, states, sex, etc etc. These problems will never disappear entirely but we would all be better off living in individual countries determined by language or religion. Only the Igbos are fighting for secession now but i believe one day other tribes irked by the non-workability of a united Nigeria may start fighting for same.

I am from one of the so called "northern states" too but i disagree with you. Northern Muslims and even people from my tribe (Igalas) and state (Kogi) are guilty of whatever stereotype we are attached to. Cases like Ese's are actually common all over the northern region. People will only stop the stereotype when we begin to behave properly. To cap the whole matter, even some of us northerners and specifically northern christians are well aware of what our Muslim brothers can do. I wnt give examples but i support the stereotype, until our people change.

Something i was discussing with my friend yesterday! He said dollar rise is a blessing in disguise to Nigerians and i made him understand we are not ready for that yet! Reason why BUBU said he will not devalue Naira because we will surely misuse the opportunity. Imagine everything in market has gone up even garri which one of the foreign tool that i don't know about did they use in making garri! Nigerians we are the architect of our own problem. If you cant see why prices will have to increase then perhaps u should go back to study elementary economics. As long as the palm oil seller buys goods from the market at inflated prices, the price of her palm oil will have to increase. The fall of the Naira has a huge ripple effect on all sectors of the economy and such prices increase. Why do you guys think Zimbabweans were going shopping with bags of cash a few years ago? It was because the zimbabwean dollar lost its value and prices went up, at the end folks were purchasing bags of sugar for about 6 million Zim dollars. I cant be bothered to explain the technicalities.

We agreed I bring her for the vaccine next weekend.

During dinner that day, I decided to raise the discussion. I told my daughter about the cervical cancer vaccine and its benefits on her health. I had wanted to be sure she was still a virgin so I played a fast one on her. I told her being a virgin is a pre-requisite for this vaccine, though this is an erroneous belief by many. That night I got the shocker of my life. I saw the changed reaction on my daughters face. ‘So you are not a virgin!’ I screamed. Immediately, I lost the appetite for food. A bad news it was.
