Do you know which religion GEJ's first daughter practice? Or Buhari must announce to the whole world that his daughter is christian? He doesn't owe you or anybody for that matter that explanation. I'm no longer impressed with this man of the people. long ago he was told to decamp to APC so he'll fulfill his gubernatorial ambition but he's been reluctant, now that the reality has dawned upon him, he's done the obvious. this man will go back to pdp if he wins the election.

He really messed up bro. There was no way he could have won that PDP primaries, even with all the "Abuja connection". Sesuwan was ready to do whatever it takes to impose Tarzoor, a very unpopular candidate on the people. Ortom would have ported immediately he left GEJ's cabinet and APC would have willingly given him the ticket without qualms since he is currently the most popular politician in the whole of Benue. He left it late till when the likes of Emmanuel Jime, Akange, Ugba and co who have stood by APC for long have spent their resources on campaigns. This move will bring division among Benue APC certainly. I pray they are able to settle before February for the sake of Benue state. Only Ortom can wrestle power from PDP and bring hope to Benue people.. With Ortom and Gemade's decampment, if APC put their house in order, it is going to be an easy coast to victory for them in Benue come 2015.

you must be naïve to think thesame scenario that played out in 2011 will repeat itself in 2015.. You have failed to realize that this is the first time a divided PDP will be facing a more formidable opposition since 1999. Buhari registered CPC with meager resources and no state governor under his party 3 months to 2011 election and still pulled up to 13million votes just by his name being on the ballot paper, you can only imagine what a will happen in 2015 with the man under a mega party which controls the most populated regions of the country and with limitless resources this time around. GEJ's poor performance after four years is another factor to consider. APC will match PDP money for money, rigging for rigging, campaign for campaign.

It is custom for sitting President to be given the first right of refusal by the party. This is what is what happens in other advanced democracies including America. Did you ever heard of Bill Clinton, George Bush, or Barack Obama contesting against opponents for their second term bit?
This is the system PDP choose to adopt. That was why GEJ was given the first right of refusal and was subsequently endorsed as the party's sole Presidential candidate vis-a-vis his position as the sitting President.

There is nothing like right of refusal in the PDP party constitution. Obasanjo underwent primaries in 2003, Jonathan also underwent primaries in 2011 so when was this famous right of refusal sneaked into PDP constitution? GEJ frustrated Kwankwanso, pushed Atiku out, blackmailed Gov. Babangida Aliyu, intimidated Gov. Lamido's children with EFCC. These are men who colud have given him a good fight in PDP primaries. PDP refused to sell presidential form to interested candidates (Abiola's wife and Tafawa Balewa's son) after collecting their monies, only for thesame PDP to turn around and isseu the forms after considering the legal implication of such an act. Tell me where the right of refusal came in.

The OP should tell us how many percent GEJ scored in "PDP primaries". . How can you compare a man who won a fiercely competed election to a man who was so scared of election that he used his power to silence all his opponents? What happened yesterday shows a party who knows what internal democracy is all about. Does it not occur to you that all the contestants are same party men and all the delegates are now automatically loyal to GMB?
