Current events in Benue politics shows that it will take a miracle or massive rigging for PDP to win. The only positions sure for PDP as it stands is zone C senate (David Mark) and a couple of house of reps from Zone C and Zone B.

It is going to be 50/50 between Seswuam and Gemade. They are both experienced riggers with one (Gemade) having more experience than the other, though Seswuam has the money and power to counter Gemade's experience in rigging. The perfect picture for this contest is Manchester city (Seswuam) vs say Real madrid (Gemade) in UCL.

The only positive of Gemade's decampment is that APC's governorship votes will be protected in zone B. . We all know zone A is and will remain APC stronghold courtesy Sen. Akume, PDP has no chance here at all. Zone C is strictly PDP both for legislative and presidential elections, but can swing to APC for governorship. This is because Sen. David Mark will want nothing to do with Seswuam's candidate. He actually instructed his delegates to vote for Lawani yesterday.

He too agreed but said Akume is scared that if Jime wins and becomes the Governor of Benue State he might Push Akume out of government and the Party. Akume should be more concerned with his upcoming battle with Mike Mku. He feels zone A senate is his birth right so he can relax and choose who flies APC flag for governorship, he better think twice because Mike Mku is no push over. He had better allow the will of the people prevail if not people will vote against him in the senatorial election.

We just know Agbaje to be a "good man".. GEJ was a "good man" four years ago and look how he has crippled our country. Has Agbaje ever held any public post before? Lagos should not be left in the hands of an untested "good man". Ambode has been tested with public office before now and Lagosians attested to the fact that he did very well, he has worked with Fashola before so continuity will not be a problem. Lagos vote wisely! Vote Ambode!

The only way PDP would have been able to retain Benue after Sesuwan's below average performance was to give the ticket to Dr. Samuel Ortom. Benue indegines were willing to overlook Sesuwan's failure and vote for Ortom under PDP, but they have not done that.

I fear Ortom is going to decamp to another party, probably Labour. That will give PDP an upper hand as people will be faced to make a choice between LP and APC while PDP retains her loyal followers. I pray this doesn't happen. Let's have a straight fight between PDP and APC. I bet you, Makurdi boy, Jime will defeat PDP hands down.

Akume can not impose Audu Akange on APC delegates except he is not interested in APC's victory. Akange is not known in Benue.

Smh.. Benue is finished if APC fails to play the game correctly! As it stands now, a very popular APC candidate will floor this very unpopular PDP candidate.

Benue APC had better put her house in order and choose the most popular among it's contenders. Akume should allow the people's choice (from all indications Emmanuel Jime is the APC delegates' choice).

I pray for more confusion in their camp. Amen. PDP must loose woefully in Lagos.
