***covers nose** Na who mess for here?.. Abeg make una dey respect una sef o.! Why person go chop Ewa agoin and groundnut come dey watch ball.. If I notice any smell again ehn, I go check everybody yansh o! |
Listening to this discourse, I agree we have some very intelligent governors and political leaders in our country, but why do they say something and do something else?! If these people can stand on the principles emanating from their lips right now, then I think our country would have been far better than this. |
mikeansy: so why does Ngige and Rochas Okorocha who are APC members the only South Easterners who qualify as National politicians in your view?Thank you, for Rochas, we already know how popular he is even before he became governor with his rochas foundation. Ngige for some strange reasons command lots of respect in the north and western part of Nigeria. |
chima12: Don't mind him.is tinubu a national politician?what about fashola who deports fellow nigerians,is he a nationalist?how about buhari?even if I agree with you, can you point out an igbo politician that is a "regionalist"? |
mikeansy: Sorry I think you have a lopsided view of what makes someone Nigerian or a National Politician!I can't recall mentioning a political party in my post. For a simple test of my claim, go to a remote village in fulani land, yoruba land, niger delta or anywhere outside the east and ask a common man man to mention eastern politicians he currently knows.. Mind you, I am not from the east. |
I don't think that guy's statement represents the view of the igbos. I don't even know who the hell Arthur Eze is until few days ago. But to be sincere, I personally think igbo politicians are more of local champions in their region. This is not good for the third largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Since the death of the late Chief. Chuba Okadigbo, igbos have failed to offer Nigeria a "national politician". For now, only the likes of Ngige and Rochas are striving hard to show igbos as Nigerians rather than "Ndi igbo". The late ikemba of Nnewi, Odumegwu Ojukwu became a national leader after he was forgiven, he embraced Nigeria and was involved in a couple of elections under different political parties, so I can't understand why some igbos feel that they can make it on their own. |
jerseyboy: Who is the Bishop talking? Too much sence.that is bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah.. Who doesn't know him? |
Goddex: SSS should chase him out of Anambra. Simple!go chase am naw.. Ode! |
Ngige! |
See people wey wan become president of Nigeria.. Smh. |
Abi na scam? |
No pix?! Then it didn't happen! |
God punish dem! |
luvola:na wah to dis people o.. When did you write the test? |
djaxz4sure: i browse wit a phone. I'm currently in a village, i will av to travel before i can use a cafe. That's why my broda, jst wanted to confirm before i spend money on travellingWow.. Then you'd be a little patient for people who have not written to come up here and tell us. Or better still, if you open the link on ur phone and you are able to get to the practice questions, then it means its still up.. You can now go to the closest cafe to continue. |
This is a very dumb post! What has Falana got to do with this?! A woman needed help and called on people. She got help. Some nigerians reason in a very strange manner. |
djaxz4sure: i was wondering if it is still possible for someone to write the online test today.stop wondering man, you have access to the internet to be on nairaland. Why not open the link and check? |
Guys, let's stop all these agurements. We've all applied because we all need the job. We can only encourage each other in here.. Regret mails are normal, receive it, delete it and move on. I've had a couple myself. |
Kolkleen: Baba no be only ratio and percentage ooo. How do pple wtout a little science knowledge solve d velocity questn? I'm sure the pass rate for this test will be a little low unlike BAT.na wah o! That means I didn't answer many questions o.. Me I no see any velocity question o. I answered the numerical question up to the point when 1 had 1minute left, then I just rushed and guessed the remaining answers by ticking random options (afterall no negative marking naw ), for the logic test, I did the same thing. But I couldn't guess to end even in 50secs, I was timed out. |
***yawns** na today? |
caseless: *gives her an onwastic hug in the spirit of onwaness*no dey take style tap current o.. I don't know why I just like that Ngige guy.. He looks like someone who can become a national politician.. Since Okadigbo's death, igbos have failed to offer Nigeria anybody with a nationalistic view of issues. Rochas is trying to be one though. If say I be anambrarian I for vote am. |
Sincere 9gerian: Ghana has also removed fuel subsidy so when will Nigeria do the same? Is Tinubu Punch not aware of that? When will Punch start a marathon of articles on the benefit of removing fuel subsidy, following the Ghana example? I guess they wont because its is not in the political interest of Tinubu?smh.. I wonder how this relates to the topic. |
Unilever sha... The timing for those questions wasn't funny at all considering the scrolling up and down one has to do.. I took time to prepare for the test, yet I didn't answer the number of questions I thought I could.. Anyway, assessment done! Waiting for their reply; good or bad, I go still thank papa God. Some people no even qualify to apply.. |
Hope he did not overuse his "amen quota" of the day.. Abati, over to you. |
donmix: FG is not even talking abt ASUP.... Does it mean we are not in important like our ASUU counterpartYes |
Prince 08: Goodmorning to the Agatu people. Ojukwu saw this many years ago and this led to genocide on the igbos. Even the igbos who were fleeing the north on a train were butchered in Benue. I wish the Benue people the same goodluck that I wish the Plateau people. I rest my case.dummy! |
Wetin be time abeg? |
Kano is a very interesting state.. They vote individuals not parties. Kwakwanso is quite popular but we all should remember that he won only because mohammed Abacha was denied the CPC ticket. Being a good politician and the man of the masses he has capitalized on his victory to bring in some form of development to the state, making him a toast of the people. Shekarau no doubt also has a good number of followers but the fact is that APC has more to gain from Kwankwanso than from Shekarau. Having said that, the duty lies on Buhari to bring the two heavyweights together for the interest of Kano people. As for PDP/GEJ Kano is a no go area for them.. There is nothing on earth they can do to win that state. That's as sure as it can be. |
theoctopus: And the right thing is keeping students at home? Most of you have already politicized the strike even here on NL. So it confirms what Suswam says that the strike is political. Let them keep at it and we will see who loosesMr man, my masters programme is currently on hold so I currently feel the impact of the strike even more than anybody here. During my undergraduate years, I used to kick against ASUU only because I wanted to graduate on time, but having had experience after school and interacted with graduates from foreign and even some private schools in Nigeria I choose to stand with ASUU on this. Running an MSc. Programme in one of the so called "most prestigious universities" in Africa and I don have access to a good lab to do my research, no teaching aids or equipments to carry out practical, we receive lectures under conditions not fit for animals even at MSc level, don't even talk about the hostels.. Our higher education is so poor.. Its a big shame on our country. Some drastic needs to be done. |
Bukkyade: GEJ wasn't elected to stay up late in the night discussing with ASUU to end a politically motivated strike.ASUU should end the strike because Ebele has "offered" them much?! Lol.. I laugh in swahili.. Thesame FG that signed an agreement years back and failed to keep it. Only a fool will take government's offering seriously. I support ASUU to take their time to consider the offer and look for practical ways of squeezing the government's "balls" to ensure that they implement the offer.. You don't call off a strike simply because the president stayed up late to negotiate on behalf of his government. Who send am by the way? He could still have conveyed his message through his ministers and other representatives.. This issue is above sentiments! The right thing must be done. |
theoctopus: Which stup1d agreement. You want government to give them half the nations budget? What yeye agreement are you talking about?was the government high on shekpe when signing the agreement? |
Bukkyade: Initially, I didn't buy into the logic that ASUU is politicizing the strike. But when I listened to GEJ's last presidential media chat, I decided to give it a second thought. GEJ asked if ASUU was altruistic, state universities wouldn't be on strike.Who cares if GEJ stayed up 24hrs to solve a problem?! Isn't that what he is elected and paid to do? If there is anybody ASUU should be concerned about, its our children who are at home instead of school, not a man who feeds on 1billion naira out of our pockets. The right thing must be done without sentiments. Our educational sector is far more important than one man's sleep! |
