rationalmind: It will sir, a bulk sale/purchase of 50k units needs to occur for the price to move.
So far, it's yet to register a high or a low. If this continues till 2:30, it will close at #6. This will go on till you guys start selling Oando is a stock that is purely driven by sentiments rather than fundamentals. This is a stock that has made many rich. With the technical suspension lifted, expect the price to at least double in the short term. I won't be surprised to see Oando releasing another information as regards its financial report in the positive very soon. Note that this is a company run NY cowboys and guy men |

Note that Skye has the lowest outstanding shares among the tier 2 banks. will most likely be the 1st among wema, unity to surpass N1. |

Mpeace: Diamond of course. With 40% of its total loan book to the oil sector and 52% of its oil sector loans classified as NPLs with most already provided for, the bank is set for lots of re-classifications as the loans begin to perform, less impairment charges and huge write backs of previously provisions. FBNH also falls within this category. Similar to what is also driving Skye bank. Has huge exposure to the oil sector as well. If oil price gets to $80, then Skye will probably get to N2. just my opinion. due diligence advised |

A bull market typically creates opportunity for money to be made in so many companies including dead companies. But we have to be careful and know when to exit, take profits from these dead companies and move on. Amazed to even see some long forgotten insurance companies going on full bid. Stock market na wao. |

Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by kokobaba: 10:46am On Jan 14, 2018 |
personally, I will go with the banks because there will be an improvement in asset quality cos of rise in crude oil price. Most of them have huge exposure to the oil industry, hence most of their loans will be recovered and written back which will boost their profit. investors could see that and that is why most banks are on bid. There is still room for upside in all the banks especially the tier 2 banks capable of doing 100% |

Kashif: Na wa for this market. Due to my previous mistakes, I am not sure now where to put my loose cash. In 2016, I bought UCAP and sold within a week or so because I didn't understand their business.
Took a plunge into Diamond, which only turned green last week. I also have Skye
If I had stayed with UCAP like I was advised, I would have been 120% up at least.
My fingers are itching again, even though I have better control now.
Let me just declare that I am confused on what to buy! Fundamentally sound stocks are looking to be at their fair prices already. There is still room for upside on many stocks. I believe stocks like fbnh, dangote flour, dangote sugar, fcmb, diamond, sterling, transcorp will still appreciate. Even dead stocks like Skye are going on full bid and capable of doing 100%. due diligence advised |

I no understand the guy at all. what I think will help a bank like Skye will be improvement in asset quality due to rise in oil price. moreover, non performing loans to the oil industry will also be recovered. won't be surprised if it touches N1.50 |

PharmAlfred: Traders usually sell today. So I am red on most counter. I could be wrong.
NSE May likely hit 50k before any major reversal. Demand will still outweigh supply today. So I still see most stocks closing on bid. The major key factor currently driving equities presently is the oil price which will definitely affect the economic outlook for 2018. foreign investors look into the future and they could see stability in oil price in 2018. |

Infinitisi: I found this graph on a recent FSDH Securities Report. There is practically a perfect correlation between the All Share Index and Crude Oil Prices. With crude oil prices still rising you can guess the continued direction of the NSE ASI. my brother, you too much. what am doing is just keeping my eye on the oil price. Most of the people here have long been buying stocks and prices have gone above their target. Dem just dey wait...and wait...to see where the madness gets to. Everyday is a new high..so they are riding the wave.
And their sell button is just 1 second away from their fingers. Totally agree with you. Experience they say is the best teacher. Many have learnt from 2008. moreover, history has a way of repeating itself. They are just riding the wave and their sell button is just 0.0001 second away from their fingers |

emmanuelewumi: I
Stock market investment is a knowledge based business, anybody who is not ready to read, study, practice, network and cross fertilise ideas with fellow investors should never venture into the game.
If I may ask what is Liz. Olofin manufacturing or what services are they rendering? Know and understand any company you invest in.
Your share certificate or CSCS statement is not a lottery ticket, but only shows the proportion of your holdings in business. Although the business could be thriving, stagnant or dying. I agree totally with you sir. stock market is not as easy as many people think. it actually involves a lot in terms of continuous study, research, timely information, analyses etc. Far more difficult than opening a shop and selling things |

davide470: Compliments of the Season Guys..
If you don't have a Dangote stock in your portfolio in 2017, and in 2018, you don't plan to have, abeg, what are you doing on the NSE (Pun Intended)
DANGSUGAR 227.63% YtD Return
DANGFLOUR: 185.88 YtD Return
DANGCEM: 32.19% YtD Return
NASCON: 117.65% YtD Return I agree with you. dangote sugar will be one of the best performing stocks in 2018. I told someone the possibility of dangote sugar paying N1 as dividend is far higher than fbnh paying 30k. it presently has all the positive indices in its favour...strong earnings outlook, good dividend expectation, backward integration plan, capital appreciation etc |

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE............ This is my opinion as regards the stock market in 2018. The first half of the year will be bullish while the second half will be bearish because of the forthcoming general elections in 2019. This is just my opinion. |

Toluway: The question which is resonating on my mind- Will those stocks that performed wonderfully well in 2017 also perform well come 2018? fbnh is just starting. hmm, I won't be surprised if the share price is above access and uba in 2018. Alhaji will also do his magic in 2018. The fundamentals are intact presently regarding dangote sugar, nascon, dangote flour. I won't be surprised if dangote sugar gets to N30, nascon N28, dangote flour N22 in 2018. They will always follow like children of the same father. Also watch out for transcorp... it will make so many people rich in 2018 inspite of the high OS. Oando is another magical stock.....presently it has challenges and other issues with SEC. But once the dust around oando settles expect the price to skyrocket like never before. Oando is a stock for the masters of this game and will always make people rich as long as u know how to play your game. This is just my opinion. please do your due diligence |
