Fossil fuel is expected to still provide over 50% of world energy for the next 25years at LEAST.

Those using firewood now will need energy but doubt they will make a leap to 'clean energy'.

There will be a huge fall in demand when electric cars are finally used. For now, it is still fossil fuel cars and hybrid. Electric cars are coming but the supply is yet to get to a critical mass.

It will sir, a bulk sale/purchase of 50k units needs to occur for the price to move.

So far, it's yet to register a high or a low. If this continues till 2:30, it will close at #6. This will go on till you guys start selling smiley

Oando is a stock that is purely driven by sentiments rather than fundamentals. This is a stock that has made many rich. With the technical suspension lifted, expect the price to at least double in the short term. I won't be surprised to see Oando releasing another information as regards its financial report in the positive very soon. Note that this is a company run NY cowboys and guy men

Confused now about what you are disputing. I said Dangote Flour cannot sustain its current performance (50% year on year growth in Profit) and you said it can be done! You said we should wait for time to tell which I agree with you.

It can't be done.

Except women go dey use the flour dey roll into attachment grin

Not likely. Demand will be driven by 'developing' countries with huge energy gap! Nigeria is able to consume all our 2mbopd without nothing for export! We have energy deficiency just like other developing countries. The customers will change but the demand will likely be sustained.

My dear no one can accurately predict this. ...perhaps that's why u didn't get the needed response from the others here.
U saw what happened with the delays from some coys with their YE result, particularly the banks.

But in my opinion, Q1 results will most likely start flowing in albeit gradually, in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
...just an opinion though.

Cheers !!

If the developing nations consume all they produce, while the developed nations develop more cleaner energy while still pumping more volumes, there will be not much demand and this will crash price. We will need to see the net demand or net supply. I believe it will tilt to net supply.

Also the developing world will change plants to accommodate electric vehicle manufacturing thereby making fossil engine manufacturing more expensive. This will force those dependent on fossil fuel to power their vehicles to either change to electric or shell out more cash to pay for the fossil engine cars.
