The most viewed football clash in the whole of world football 'El Clasico' played in Spain between fierce rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid produced some magical and lively moments. It was spectacular this time because it was a small matter of a title decider and Real Madrid came into this game sitting top of the La Liga table, 3points above fierce rivals Barcelona with a game in hand.

It wasn't the vintage Clasico where both teams sit and wait for the other to attack, it was indeed an end to end stuff with both sides attacking after turns and had the goalkeepers to work for their pay.

To celebrate the Rivers State at 50, the State have organized several tournaments including 'Cycling' and 'Beauty Pageant' to spice up the even.
The Cycling competition kicked off today in the early hours of 7am and the route ranges from Azikiwe-Aggrey road-Town-Mile 1,2,3-Agip-Adgeorge-Obiri Ikwerre-Elele-Omagwa-Rukpokwu-Aba Road-Azikiwe.

According to the organizers, it is a 160km race involving cyclcist from all over River state and its neighbouring states.
