Reports making the rounds in South Africa show that the aftermath of a heavy downpour caused a never ending flood that has covered the whole East Coast region in Durban. Part of the affected companies in that region is the South Africa Crude oil refinery, SAPREF.

This week, a new football club was launched in the second tier of the Nigerian League, the Nigerian National League (NNL). The SPORTING LAGOS Club as the name goes was unveiled in Lagos on Sunday by the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Paystack, Shola Akinlade.

Osun State Police command has arrested two ritualists who had female body parts with them. This arrest was made possible after a distress call was put across to them from the hotel manager where the two suspects were lodged. According to the manager, the lady screamed twice in a bid to call for help and after that noise, no sound was head coming from that room.

Part of what fueled the suspicion was the two guys trying to leave the hotel without the girl they came with, and the manager opted that the guys follow them back to their room to confirm the whereabouts of the girl.

A police inspector, Ezekah Akpelu has attempted to kill two ladies from Isiokpo in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State over failure to accept his sexual advances towards them. The ladies who are identified as Jane and Miracle Amos, sustained burn injuries after the policeman Ezekah threw their burning stove on them.

According to eye witness, Mr Ezekah lives in same compound as Jane and Miracle in Rumuokwuta axis in Port Harcourt metropolis, and due to pride of rejection, picked up the stove while the ladies were cooking to pour on his target Jane, which exploded and spread out to Miracle who was close by burning her chest region.

There was controversy on Match day four of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) game that took place between Dakkada FC and Remo Stars in Akwa Ibom. A staff of the club was caught on camera assaulting a member of the referee committee after the game.
This incident has pushed the club, Dakkada FC to take action immediately on the staff who assaulted the match officials after he was identified from the video footage. The statement reads:

The staff has been reported to both the Akwa Ibom Divisional Police force and the League Management Company (LMC)

The identified individual whose details were left out from the public due to security reasons has been banned from all activities related to the Dakadda FC for an initial period of one year pending the outcome of both an ongoing internal review of the incident as well as the outcome of the investigation of the Police.
