They all happily said Obi ... I'm not into politics; this is not a campaign for any party, it's just my personal research lately.
I'm not even a fan of Obi, but apparently if Tinubu win's this election, it is 100 percent rigging. |

Most American's and other western culture do not see tattoo as a bad thing. It is only in Nigeria that tattoo symbolizes hookup.
Meanwhile, a few decades ago, tattoo was part of African culture, it only faded in these our generation because my mom has a tattoo and she married my father as a virgin and she had the tattoo before she got married, she doesn't even know it's called tattoo. |

Thanks for your observation. We intentionally kept the requirements minimal because the role is entry-level and successful applicants will receive training while learning on the job. We already have a senior digital marketer who will guide and support the selected candidate. Thanks once again. michaelodafe: For roles like this, applicants should show two things clearly: content ability and commercial sense.
A better application will mention: - campaigns or pages managed - leads, reach, clicks, or sales influenced - Canva samples or portfolio links - willingness to handle both online marketing and field follow-up
Digital marketing CVs fail when they sound pretty but prove nothing. Show numbers if you have them. |

Car Talk › Re: I Never Knew Owning A Car In Nigeria Was This Expensive Until I Calculated Every by koladata(m): 1:05pm On May 06 |
To be honest, except you are doing transportation business, owning a car in Nigeria is a dumb idea. There are times i spend over 1million in a month. Though i drive a Mecedes but i'm selling that shit off soon , its only good for yahoo boys ridevendor: Honestly…
I used to think people were exaggerating when they complained about maintaining a car in Nigeria.
Until I sat down one day and calculated everything properly.
And I won’t lie… I was shocked.
Let’s Break It Down
This is just an average car owner trying to maintain a decent vehicle.
Not even luxury.
Fuel
Depending on movement: ₦10,000 – ₦30,000+ weekly
And if you move around a lot? Even worse.
Maintenance
This one humbles people fast.
* Oil servicing * Brake pads * Suspension * Tyres * Battery
One small issue can suddenly become:
> ₦80k > ₦150k > ₦300k
Just like that.
Nigerian Roads
This one deserves its own section honestly.
Bad roads damage:
* Tyres * Shock absorbers * Alignment * Underbody
Sometimes it feels like the road is fighting the car personally 😅
Other Hidden Costs
People forget:
* Car wash * Parking * Insurance * Documents * Traffic stress * Unexpected repairs
Everything adds up quickly.
WHAT SURPRISED ME MOST
I finally understood why many people now:
* Use Bolt more * Rent cars occasionally instead * Or delay buying another vehicle entirely
Because owning a car in Nigeria today is almost like managing another responsibility on its own.
THEN I UNDERSTOOD SOMETHING
A lot of people complain about:
* Car rental prices * Transport prices * Driver costs
But after seeing what car owners spend regularly…
I started understanding the business side better.
Especially for operators managing multiple vehicles.
MY HONEST OPINION
At this point, reliability matters more than “forming”.
I’d rather use:
* A well-maintained car * With peace of mind
Than force luxury and end up stranded somewhere.
LET’S DISCUSS
Car owners here:
What shocked you most after buying your car?
* Fuel? * Maintenance? * Nigerian roads? * Spare parts?
Or do you think people are still exaggerating?
FINAL THOUGHT
Owning a car in Nigeria is no longer just about buying the vehicle…
The real challenge starts AFTER purchase.

I think it depends, why not find other route that you wont have to spend the whole 30m on relocation, most countries will give you visa as long as you can prove that the 30m belongs to you.
You will only spend about 5m on relocation while you can keep 25m in Nigeria investing more on what made up the 30m in the first place except the money was a gift. Then use 5 to 10m to relocate and double the income.
With 25m in Nigeria , if you understand the street very well, you can double that money in 1year but it might be very hard to make 50m in one year abroad except you are top tier tech expect(not html css oo) or a medical professional who is already internationally acredited if not, taking abroad exam to fully integrate as a medical person could take up to 2years.
So way your options bro |

This is my point exactly, you don't love her, I've been a man for over a decade, and I know when a man truly loves a woman. Even the footballer on the pitch playing that match you were watching could fake an injury just to be with a woman they truly love. You would have told her something else is keeping you busy and not football. Women don't value football that much so you will have to ease them into believing how important football is to you. lovediehatelive: The best option you just stated there.
However make we no lie, e no easy just like that, person wey I don plan different styles to give am.

You don't really love her, except football is your job, I see no reason why you couldn't not have left the ball. lovediehatelive: Few weeks ago I met a girl and kept contact with her.
Everything was going on smoothly until I asked her to come to my place.
I already prepared my mind for 'NO', and that's what I actually got. I felt it's the usual not wanting to appear cheap so I tried again, she said she was busy.
It was on a Saturday. I lock up and continued with my life. The next day (Sunday) Mancity and Arsenal had match and I wasn't missing it for anything.
If she had accepted to come over, I would have planned my schedules so as to watch the game after that be with her or so.
But since she wasn't positive after second trial I assumed she won't be coming again.
Lo and behold just before the end of 1st half, (after Dounaruma mistake that Harvertz scored) her call came in, and she wanted to come!
Told her I was watching match I'll call her when I'm done.
That was it.
After the game I called but she didn't pick up. Messaged her on WhatsApp but she's not replying.
Since then she's been giving me attitude.
She's supposed to let me know on time, at least a day before, so that I plan my day, not towards evening by 5PM of the same day.
It's not as if I rejected her, I just can't leave my match for her even though I later called.
Has anyone ever experienced such? |

There's already provision for private sector to come in , the only difference is that you have to generate minimum of 100 mega watt lionshare: My point is simple: your data is wrong. And yes, it’ll keep looking like rocket science as long as the government keeps distorting the market with subsidies. There’s no incentive for private capital to step in and build for profit under that kind of system. What’s needed is full deregulation—let tariffs reflect actual costs.
The government simply doesn’t have the capacity, resources, or long-term discipline to run the sector efficiently. Imagine if they were in charge of telecoms—you already know how that would look. They’re generally poor managers. And beyond that, the current reality—the pain of unreliable, epileptic supply—is already more expensive than any market-reflective tariff would be.
Take a simple example: if you’re on Band A and power goes out, running a generator for 48 hours will likely cost you more than paying for two weeks of Band A supply. That’s from direct experience—not even counting the lost productivity, missed opportunities, constant noise, and the higher cost of alternatives. |

See how they ruin this country... one by one
I asked ChatGPT today how much it will cost to build 5k megawatt, it says 5billion dollars, I then asked how much was Nigeria generated revenue for 2025, it says 35 to 50 billion dollars.
Dangote refinery was able to build his own power within a year and they currently have about 540 megawatt, meanwhile the entire country has less than 4k megawatt, is that not counterintuitive |
