But honestly, our experience was extremely frustrating. If you have a bone problem, you’re sent to one department with a new case file. If you later have malaria, headache, or another health issue that i not bone related, you will be sent to another department with another new file. In 2026, your medical records are not synchronized in one database. All they pass around is file file file and lots of mistakes (Omo!)

For example, if one department gives you Pregabalin, another department may prescribe something similar or stronger without seeing the medication history from the same hospital or maybe he choose not to ask for the previous file because of the stress and time it will take them to search for the file. That was essentially what happened with my mother. And that was how she had an induced Delirium mental issue after we took her to the best federal hospital in Nigeria. They mistakenly mix Pregabalin 75 mg +
Dihydrocodeine 30 mg + Tramadol + paracetamol (Antalgex T)... Now chatgpt is saying this is total wrong combination for a 75 year old woman . What do you expect from a hospital that still relies heavily on old filing systems and infrastructure. Omo!
