Well you may perhaps be right. I doubt if the Judge's disposition has anything to do with his sentence. The offence was already established considering the intention to kill not cause grievous harm when the convict stabbed the deceased on the neck. This alone has nailed him to the offence!

We don't need fact-finding proofs to establish his being alive because in less than some weeks hence we shall know the truth about the rooster and bull stories making rounds about his health.

I don't believe this story. The girl didn't show any emotion in her statement about her four siblings being killed after refusing to detonate the bomb.

Nonetheless the courts and lawyers play the role of applying the laws made by the legislature who are representatives of the general public. These representatives have the duty to create and fashion laws to suit the needs and ends of the public that elected them. Legal training is neither a prerequisite for law making but common sense and a sense of responsibility.

That is why when I argued with you about wills, the legislature had in mind the effect of satisfying the wishes of a dying man and not create a legal web of forms and hurdles which could truncate the purpose the legislature had having regards to wills.

I am afraid to let you know that Lawyers are trained in the art of legislative drafting in the same bargain. Consequently, the broad hint is that the legislature has next to nothing to do with your making a will. It's a civil law affairs.
