Aina is better on the wings than Moses and Chukwueze and is the best crosser of the ball in the SE end of discussion.

Nwabili nearly gaffed there.

Why does VO always go off side it's no longer funny.

has he ever played in any of the mentioned positions?
Hope you know he was in Arsenal for 10 years and played with Eze, Iwobi, before going to Southampton then Burnley.

He played SS , LW, AM for Burnley but predominantly inverted wingers from the right .

I hope Iheanacho on the wings pays off. He certainly has the shooting prowess but can we trust his dribbling to get past markers?
Dude KC will drift inwards to his comfort zone. Can he cross the ball with his right foot 👣❓

Has he got blistering pace and wavey deceptive skills to get past players IMO a big No. I think he is more suited to being a SS or a number 9

This is a good 😊 topic

What is your definition of African football ⚽❓

What I can tell you is there are cultural dynamics as well coaching practices and different emphasis.

In Africa we lay a lot of emphasis on dribbling, skills , athletic ability even physicality. But less on football intelligence and management, end product crosses, free kicks , intelligent disguised passes, etc.

Trent Alexander was actually a midfielder who was called to play RB , that's where is opportunity came from. He seized it with both hands didn't complain that he was midfielder, well the rest is history.

What you will find in the top academies is emphasis on the things we ignore. You really need to be able to cross the ball with both feet by 15 if you want to progress.

It's some of tihre basics not all but a good number of our homegrown players have not mastered. This can be a problem for progression.

I see these handicaps in Zaidu, Chukwueze and to a lesser extent Moses S.

I love African football ⚽ without all the restrictive tactics and team strategies. It is fantastic entertainment, however winning may be a problem.

What do you think.

I've been to most premier League academies as well as championship ones. And these are my observations.

Watching Chavez game right now. The team is truly a poor team (not talking about money pls) tactically. They play like academy kids. Lots of the players lack the basic football intelligence. Unfortunately that's where our boy Nwakali plies his trade. It is what it is. I hope he moves to a team where he can really do what we all know he is capable of.
He has been in Europe🌎 for over 8 years going from one level of mediocrity to another. Nobody has eyes among the duplicity of football ⚽ scouts across Europe.

After 4 seasons in the very lowly Segunda Division. Nobody saw him in Real Madrid, Barcelona or Athletico. ❓

He then descended lower to the lowest team in Portuguese league Chavez, why did Porto, Sporting and Benefica not see him.❓❓

Why don't you want to talk about money 🤑

You know if you are the only person that can see something and nobody else can what does it mean 🤔

Finally, who is we all.

Very funny in bold

What's so unique about KC 🤔 You keep talking about past glories.

Many call HERE call him clinical finisher, top marksman and technically gifted.

The last two seasons he scored 9 goals from 54 games, he had played 19 games in the Championship and he has scored 5 and is joint 38 in the championship scoring tables alongside 24+ other players.

And now tell me how he is better than Tella , be objective and stop saying I'm emotively biased.

Maybe 🤔 I am wrong and KC has improved but KC has no right foot . On the other hand Tella is comfortable with both feet shooting from distance and or close range. Who is faster ? I think Tella.

You will find most Arsenal academy graduates are comfortable with both feet 🐾.

Appraise the individual skill sets of both players without prejudice and tell me your deductions.

Yea, he either is really terrible that he can't even get substitute appearance or he's not ambitious. At least that is what you'd say about our own players. Why hasn't any other big team come for him. He's basically useless for City anyway, and they wouldn't stop him. Liverpool were looking for a DM for a long time and even went to acquire another bench warmer in Bayern. The bayern have been looking for a DM for the longest time, de no see am as option...the best DM England has after Rice. Hey...I'm just using your usual logic.
It's good to establish the facts and the framework for any potential transfer. Then your make an informed decision.

With regards to the bold, tell me just one of any of our players that can get into Manchester city right now ⁉️

It's almost an honour of achievement to get on to the bench of city ,that's how hard it is to get there.

Tell me any of our players that's playing for Real Madrid, City , Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern, that's sitting on the bench please 🥺 and I've said he is poor quality, not ambitious, terrible, etc please just one not two .⁉️⁉️

Kalvin is on £130k a week and contracted to Manchester city. You think City will sell him to any of their direct rivals both domestic league and Champions, and if they do they will want good money 🤑.⁉️⁉️⁉️

You know that Tells plays AM as well and also as an inverted wingers, shoots with ease both feet 🐾 from distance.

Most players with high centre of gravity tend to be slow.

How many through balls was he able to use?

Was he able to get a shot on target or off-target from a counter?

We play fast attacking football under peseiro, relying heavily on the pace of our front three.

For this tournament Iheanacho will have to compete with Chukwueze and Simon for a position on the Right wing or he will be like a super sub in this tournament.
KC cannot play wing he neither has the pace or the technical ability required and 1V1 & 1V2 dominance required. Tella is much better.

See the excuse he's giving. No one is better than Kalvin Philips in that position. Person wey dey glued to the bench for the past 2 seasons. If it is Nwakali or Kelechi now, criteria will change.
There are some teams getting on the bench is a major feat in itself. Teams like, Real Madrid, Manchester City, etc

Nwakali will not smell the U18 and KC will not smell the bench of city Now.

Odegaard was a bench warmer for Real went straight into Arsenal team and dominated from day one, he is the captain of Arsenal.

Or Pogba from Manchester United youth team and occasional bench warmer to midfield general at Juventus immediately on arrival.

Lesson - NO BE ALL BENCH BE BENCH

CIV coach goofed for not inviting Zaha
Big time

I called a friend from Cote De Voire and he explained there were cultural differences which Zaha had not tuned into.

He didn't understand why they had to share rooms, he did not like sharing room with guys openly practicing JuJu, some of the food was not up to scratch.

In Africa even when officials are taking your bonuses you keep QUITE when things are going wrong you keep QUITE, when you get grief from government officials you keep QUITE.

Unfortunately Zaha is vocal and doesn't understand those cultural dynamics.

You can say I'm talking rubbish but you will not hear this in the media.

All this epistles are for your pocket. Kalvin Philip I not playing regularly yet he keeps getting called up. Maguire was a disaster last season but still made the WC squad. How do you justify these?
Maguire no justification but Kalvin Philips doesn't have anybody competing with him in England add to that he is Manchester City none of our players will get into City now.

So in the context of the world class quality around Kalvin Philips it's understandable, he gets selected.

Club and national team are never the same... Your performance at club level will earn you an invitation to the national team, but it is your performance in the national team that will keep you in the national team..
Iheanacho has justified his stay in the national team by every standard..
You may not want to admit it for obvious reasons, but Iheanacho is ne of the most technically gifted player in the team..
Dude are you listening to yourself 🤔

Obvious reasons 😮 Eze, Olise, Zaha, are technically gifted players. Irrespective of the whatever team KC plays in technically gifted is not word I would use to describe him.

Decent finisher good technique but not exceptional yes. Boniface, Ademola, Iwobi, Aina, Chukwueze are technically more gifted than him.

If VO was not performing in club and league he would not be in the SE. His continuous top performance in club have kept him in the SE not just past glories.

This is why comparison is made continuously about players in the HERE and NOW to see who might give the best quality in the national team. Not because he did it before he can do it again.

Consider that Nathan Tella scored 17 goals in the Championship which KC is struggling to get recognition in. I would not say that KC is more technically gifted than Nathan Tella and or clinical add to the mix KC is not match fit after coming back from injury.

Trent is arguably one of the best RB plus midfield players in the world his end product simple stunning.

What is KC 😮 nothing by comparison to Trent.

Exactly... coaches are entitled to their preferences. If JPes preferred Kels ahead of Onyedinma, Akpororo and Iregbogbo, nothing you can do about it.
Within reason and taking in context.

Kalvin Philips is in the best team in the world arguably with world class players that's the context. I asked the question outside of Rice who is a better DM than him in the English team. Quality Options are limited and he is the best among many, irrespective of the limited game time.

KC situation is completely different, he is not match fit after coming straight into the SE from injury. He is not outstanding and off the ball in club and league.

In addition there are better options that are inform, match fit and not coming back from injury.

No point arguing with you
You don’t watch Leicester city play
A striker can drop deep, hold up play and give passes to the inverted wingers on the run
Unfortunately football doesn’t also record the third man in possession before a goal is scored
There’s more to goals than just the goal scorer or the assist.
A goal or assist doesn’t tell the full story about the build up
He does well to help Fatawu, Mavdidi & others on the flanks
There’s really no point arguing about this
Ive been watching Leicester because of Ndidi & Kelechi
They’ve all been playing as a team and deserve to win the championship
Not getting a goal or assist doesn’t tell the full story.
Already your approach turns balanced analytics upside down. You just watch Ndidi and KC, you are too biased to have a balanced appraisal.

When you are striker your job is to score goals, stop being ridiculous.

I've watched Leicester city several times and I don't agree with you one bit.
