I rather end my wicked Oga than to end myself because of him.

I love myself so much that I can't harm myself because of another person. If you make me bleed, I end you, if you cause me pains, I destroy you.

Do unto others before they do unto thee.
The consequences will make you wished you had ended yourself. End yourself before you end another person, if you think you're tired of life.

Normally, I do not pay any mind to that statement when I see other guys use it on their fellow guys, but it rings very true I am forced to agree in this case.

So with all the supposed money and influence and power and aura and fame this one has, women's attention is still lacking in his life, because how are you calling women hookers in one breath while admonishing them to be nice and friendly in another? Women who want your money in exchange for sex WILL play nice at you. That they are not saying hi to you only says that that they do not like you or your money.
You’re just expressing pain. There’s no sense in what you wrote.

The point is the insecurity is also a main cause of this hunger. If North does not go to farm, resultant effect is hunger.

A man voluntarily resigning from a job is not a problem.

Even if the speculation that he was asked to resign for doing a poor job is true, the government is entitled to ask a poor performing appointee to resign.

The man, head of NIA - from the North.
Mr Ribadu, NSA - from the North.
Minister of defence - from the North
Minister of State for defence- from the North.
Chief of Army Staff - from the North.

I don't have a problem with them being from the North. However, one would think they would have a better grip of the ongoing security challenges in the North.

But that is not proving to be the case.

The government is right to review their positions and ask the non-performing ones to go.
Perform what on top hunger.
Good luck stopping hungry people from protesting for food. Foolish government!
PoliticsRe: Rice To The Rescue: How Tinubu Plans To Fix Nigeria One Grain At A Time by komzy589(m): 8:28am On Aug 26, 2024
malali:
In a move that is nothing short of revolutionary, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the distinguished architect of modern Lagos and current commander-in-chief of Nigerian politics, has unveiled his masterstroke to solve all of Nigeria’s most pressing issues. No, it’s not a complex economic reform, nor is it a technological breakthrough. It’s rice. Yes, you heard that right. The humble grain that adorns every Nigerian party plate is now the golden key to unlocking Nigeria’s prosperous future.

Insecurity? Rice Will Save the Day!

First on the list is insecurity, a thorn in the side of our great nation. Why bother with expensive defense contracts, military strategies, or peace negotiations? Asiwaju’s solution is far more ingenious. Imagine Boko Haram insurgents and bandits laying down their arms, not because of any fear of retaliation, but because of the irresistible lure of a steaming bowl of jollof rice. “They will abandon their nefarious ways and embrace the warmth of rice diplomacy,” a Tinubu aide reportedly stated, with a seriousness that can only be matched by a plate of smoky, party jollof.

Unemployment? Just Add Rice!

Unemployment, another persistent problem, is about to meet its match. Forget vocational training or job creation schemes. Asiwaju’s rice distribution plan will turn every unemployed youth into an instant entrepreneur. With just a few bags of rice, young Nigerians can set up “rice kiosks” on every street corner. “Who needs skills when you have rice?” is the new mantra. And let’s not forget the ancillary jobs created in the rice distribution chain: the bag carriers, the vendors, and, of course, the eaters.

Healthcare? The Rice Prescription

Nigerians have long suffered from a lack of medical facilities, but that’s no longer a problem in Tinubu’s Nigeria. Hospitals? Clinics? Who needs them when you have rice? Asiwaju’s health policy will see patients being prescribed two cups of rice a day. “A bowl of rice in the morning, and your malaria is gone by evening,” proclaimed an optimistic government health official. And for those suffering from more severe ailments? Not to worry, just up the dosage.

Minimum Wage? Paid in Rice!

The debate over Nigeria’s minimum wage has been contentious, but Tinubu has the perfect solution: pay the minimum wage in rice. “Naira is overrated,” said a spokesperson. “With the fluctuating currency, rice is the only stable measure of wealth. Why demand a pay rise when you can demand a rice rise?”

Inflation? Rice Stabilizes Everything

As the cost of living continues to spiral, Nigerians have been crying out for relief. Enter Tinubu, with his economic theory that rice, being a staple, can stabilize everything. The new financial policy? Peg the value of the naira to a cup of rice. Economists are scratching their heads, but Tinubu’s team insists that when rice prices stabilize, so will the economy. Forget petrol; rice is the new black gold.

Power Outages? The Energy of Rice

NEPA (now euphemistically called “Never Expect Power Always”) has been the bane of every Nigerian’s existence. But what if the solution was as simple as a bag of rice? Asiwaju envisions a future where rice is used not just for consumption but as an energy source. “Rice-powered generators will light up every home,” a policy document declares. It’s unclear exactly how this will work, but if anyone can make it happen, it’s Tinubu.

Traffic Congestion? Rice Lanes to the Rescue

Lagos traffic, a nightmare of biblical proportions, is another problem that rice can apparently solve. The new plan? “Rice lanes” on major highways, where cars powered by rice-based biofuel will glide smoothly to their destinations. And for those who can’t afford biofuel, never fear: you can always barter your way through with a few cups of rice.

Education? Learning Through Rice

The education sector has not been left out. Asiwaju’s vision for Nigerian schools is a curriculum centered around rice studies. Students will learn mathematics by counting grains, geography by studying rice-growing regions, and history by tracing the origins of rice in West Africa. It’s a holistic approach to education that could only come from the fertile mind of Nigeria’s political sage.

The Rice Revolution

In all seriousness—or as much seriousness as this proposal deserves—Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s rice-based solutions are nothing short of groundbreaking. They promise to tackle everything from insecurity to traffic congestion, unemployment to education, all with a simple grain that has nourished generations. Of course, the details are a bit murky, and the logistics a tad ambitious, but when has that ever stopped a Nigerian politician?

So, as the nation waits with bated breath, we can only hope that Tinubu’s rice revolution will be the panacea Nigeria needs. After all, in a country where the absurd often masquerades as reality, who’s to say rice isn’t the answer to all our problems?
So you guys have moved to insulting us now.

casualobserver:
I have been consistent. Check the dates some as far back as February

The title of this thread is exactly why I am against any form of fuel subsidy. We will eventually get back to where we were with inflated consumption numbers and where we end up subsidizing petrol for our neighbours. You cannot have petrol subsidies in a nation that has porous borders when your neighboring countries sell petrol at a rate 2x ours. If Niger, chad, Benin and Cameroun can pay N1200 for petrol then so can we, their citizens are poorer or just as poor as us and they are not rioting because petrol is N1200.
Niger are poorer and are not rioting because their need for petrol is not like ours.
If transportation was the only thing that affected by petrol, the price of other services will not be too shaken.
Tinubu has been in office for over one year and the power situation is still as bad as ever.
Removing fuel subsidy is only good if basic things are in place.
You cannot throw away the bath water and the baby.
So stop this your senseless advocacy for subsidy removal and urge government to put basic infrastructures and amenities in place first.

PDP is already a dead party. But I am certain that at the right time, Wike will be disgraced out of both PDP and APC. It's just a matter of time.
I thought they are the strongest opposition to the ruling party.
Or am I wrong.

Out of 36 states,
PDP has 13 governors, APC 20, LP 1, NNPP 1, APGA 1.
Out of 109 Senators
PDP 37, APC 59, LP 8, SDP 2, NNPP 2.

Look at the numbers.
In my opinion, the PDP is the strongest opposition a Nigerian ruling party has ever had since 1999.
The other small parties like LP, APGA, SDP and NNPP are just playing.
The PDP is the only hope to kick out the ruling party from presidency. Every other party is just a family gathering.

Trying to make sense out of this.

#1. Many Nigerians will not return or will tamper with the money if they receive alert from unknown person.
Why would the sender take that risk?

#2. Even if one decides to return the money, why would he return it to a different account?

#3. Even if one returns the money to a different account, does police not have access to that different account?

#4. What's the essence of transferring the money through an unknown person 1st, when you the money can be transferred direct to the final recipient?

#5. Most Nigerians don't trust the police, so I doubt if they will heed this advice.
I’m still trying to understand what the kidnappers are trying to avoid with this method of collecting the ransom.

Labour party is very dangerous, the only party meant to unseat the evil APC and throw it away to the abyss.

This is to tell you clearly that last election Obi beat the Iragbiji drunkard black blue in all parts of the country , but the satanic APC appointed inec chairman chose to compromised by taking the will of the people and giving it to a complete dûnce with no direction. God punish him eternally.

This is a premonition of what will play out in 2027, the north will massively and unapologetically vote for Peter Obi, and by that time let the idiotic APC appointed fóolish inec president tries his nonsense again, I swear hand go touch am, I trust north.

North are even wiser now. Small little protest, Tinubu sinisterly wanted to eliminate the whole north by killing them all and you think north will forget and forgive. Not again.
Peter Obi has the capacity to take a big chunk of the opposition, likewise PDP.
Unfortunately, if the North doesn’t vote for APC, they will vote for PDP.
Electorates need to be smarter in 2027.
Majority of voters did not vote for Tinubu but he still won fairly because the opposition was not a unified entity.

The only 2 conditions for APC to lose 2027;
PO doesn’t contest in another party other than PDP.
OR
PO doesn’t contest at all.

If any of those 2 conditions don’t happen in 2027 poll, APC will win again.
