PDP is dead and buried
SE was the last region holding the forte in pdp both online and offline.
as soon as they left, pdp became dead.
PDP as the runner-up in the last Presidential election scored the closest score to an eventual winner in any Nigerian Presidential election ever.
PDP as opposition governs 13 States currently, the most any opposition party has ever governed in Nigeria.
PDP as an opposition holds the most seats in the upper chamber than any opposition has ever held before.

Nigerians do not need to turn back any hand. Just have a united opposition. It’s as simple as that. I said this when LP and NNPN were flying out of PDP with greed and selfishness.

garriAndsugar:

why cant Atiku take the blame game? must it be Obi or Wike?
Because Atiku legally won the primary ticket for the opposition party.
Look I don’t care who’s representing the party. All I knew was that a united PDP would have defeated APC.
Atiku was not chosen he was elected by delegates. Wike also bought a primary ticket and lost to Atiku. He should’ve kept to his promise by supporting whoever wins.
Mind you, Atiku is not a saint too. He did this same thing to Jonathan in 2011.
If PDP conducts a primary and Atiku or whoever wins should be fully backed.

on a normal election how many votes can bayelsa deliver? kano can do 7times bayelsa.
If the merger cant remove mamood then expect another blow from APC
Look Mahmoud can only do so much.
Before the 2023 election, I was crying for a merger but LP supporters thought it was a joke.
Those numbers for APC in the presidential election was correct. I told people even before the election.
Anyone who understands numbers should know that the emergence of LP and NNPN did not weaken APC but PDP who are supposed to be the most potent opposition that would have dislodged APC.
Reno is simply saying that if we go into the election like this again, it will be an even easier victory for APC.
PS: Any smart person should know that Reno doesn’t support Tinubu one bit. He’s just upset that we allowed APC back into power after such a disastrous 8years and that’s thanks to Peter Obi and greedy Wike.

If APC use the strategy they used in kogi and Imo election then no merger will work.

No merger will stop APC from rigging, let's tell ourselves the truth and stop deceiving ourselves like Omokri.

For those asking why they didn't rig Bayelsa, the votes in the state is even small and they will only need 25% which APC can get comfortably there.
After taking Kano from NNPP they would win easily
You lie sir.
Your excuse for Bayelsa did not track. APC cannot control everywhere. They need powerful people to do so. They clearly don’t have enough powerful people in Bayelsa as they do in Imo and Kogi, that’s why they lost Bayelsa.
The merger is the only hope to kick APC out. Reno is 100% right.

Did you know Why? His character. If you doubt me, you can send me a DM and i will take you to meet the guy. This is someone that is doing pretty fine for himself but still struggling to get a wife. I only know about men struggling financially having issues getting a wife. I was surprised to see someone doing fine having same issue

I have not even finished reading this post, but the blanket statements are turning me off already.

Is it not getting married out of necessity that pushes people to cheating? I would have expected the post to address how there are many ingredients for a successful marriage. Espousing either of money or love as the most important thing is what will always lead to issues.

So if financial security is guaranteed, there'll be no more problems?

And did you really say (most) broken marriages are caused by finances? What does broken means here? Because they're many couples who are living together and fulfilling their responsibilities to each other, like robots, but there's no love shared between them. And where will you rank infertility, infidelity, abuse, children rebellion, family interference, etc., on the scale of marital issues? What data is backing such claim up here in Nigeria?
Finance is not the only important aspect of marriage but this one is focusing on the importance of money in a marriage, look at the topic. You really attacked this like a woman 🥴

Let me school you Mr man, ACN was a strong opposition to PDP to the extent that they were able to break PDP into two when the Atiku faction decamped to ACN and later merged with PMB CPC to form APC, before the formation of APC ACN started claiming major political stronghold in the SW and NW, NE. PDP was only able to manage SS, SE, and NC until 2014. Tell me today which of the opposition parties is pulling such political strength as at Now Wake up to the reality no opposition party is as strong and formidable like the then ACN undecided
Are you sure you were of age in 2007?
ACN came a distant 3rd in the presidential election that year, behind ANPP and PDP. Look at the attached picture and see the difference.
Why do you think there was a merger in the end?
Save your breath, the opposition was too powerful.
Dude in 2007 how many ACN Gubernatorial candidates won their state election?
Save your breath ACN won only one state.
No political party has ever been as strong as PDP in 2003 and 2007.

Since 1999, the strongest opposition to a ruling party that lost an election is PDP in 2023. No opposition has ever lost an election in general with such lesser margin.
Again look at the attached picture and don’t ever mention ACN again 🥴

Atiku's greed will make it less difficult for APC to turn Nigeria into a one-party state.
APC has no opposition as we speak because PDP is dead and cremated, and LP is not serious
There’s still so much you need to learn in politics.
In 2007, PDP had oppositions. Guess what, the party occupied the top seats in the upper chambers with 31 Governors in 36 States.
In 2023, APC the ruling party Governs 20 States whilst PDP Governs 13. NNPN, LP and APGA Governs 1 State each.
Ask yourself this question
In 2007 and 2023, which opposition is stronger!
You can see that everything you just typed there about APC not having an opposition is gibberish.

This is what PDP should have done pre 2023 elections. If they eventually do, Atiku shouldn’t try getting ticket for himself. It won’t end well.

Also, the merger party shouldn’t try playing nice with APC.
True. Also, that merger should definitely not end with welcoming people like Wike and Obi back to the party. These are desperados that can sellout easily.

Tinubu should be the rightful leader of both PDP and APC because the current PDP under Atiku is as good as dead.

APC has a strong opposition in PDP.

In 2007, when PDP was in power, they governed 31 States out of 36.
In 2023, APC in power governs 20 States, opposition PDP governs 13 States.
NNPP, APGA and LP governs 1 State each.

APC is sweeping over this nation massively like wild fire.

Watch the coming defections to APC from state to state.

Imo and Ebonyi are already in their firm control (that's just Southeast o! A whole Southeast).
Okay, will they sweep Bayelsa and Edo too?
The chances of PDP winning in Imo and Kogi state are very slim and you know why. I don’t need to tell you. Just like the chances of APC winning in Bayelsa and Edo state.
It will be an upset for PDP to win any of those state, but it is not an upset for PDP to win Bayelsa state. Whiles Labour Party winning any of those state cannot even happen.
That’s what I mean by having an open mind in politics.

Opposition is dead in Nigeria.

Naija is officially become a one-party nation.
As a political analyst, try to have an open mind. PDP is not LP.
They are losing in Kogi doesn’t mean they are losing everywhere.
Can you bet your house that they will lose Bayelsa State too?
They are the most competitive opposition Nigeria has ever had.
I can understand if you’re talking about Labour Party, not PDP.

There are some intelligent comments up there. Try to have an open mind even if the tread was created to devalue a man.

You didn’t see the comment about men being wired to always provide. This may tend to reduce their level of empathy because that is now the basis a man is measured with.
I mean think about it. Go back and read the full comment. One of the reasons why most men are working extra-hard to make money is to provide for another adult.
That can have an effect on how he sees that person who’s capable of providing too but chooses to remain a dependent.
If that doesn’t make sense to you then your problem is even bigger than you know.
