Presidency is not going to yorubas who are currently presenting opposition for Igbo presidency which will douse tensions.

Like vultures, yorubas want to simply use Igbo flesh to 'nourish' themselves into the presidency, that's why they are advocating SW vs SE candidacy when it should be SE vs SE candidacy on both tickets as was done for them in 1999.

If there is nothing like equity and justice for the SE in 2023, then yorubas should slug it out with the north while we watch akimbo. They should stop running from facing the North by goading the East.

Ofcourse we in the East will celebrate with the winner just like yorubas always do like vultures in previous elections. A shameless unethical strategy they call 'sophistication'.

You are being too emotional as it is with most South Easterners I have met.

In life, you need some tact and diplomacy to win. Nobody hands another one thing for free. You beg, coerce or force what you desire if you are that hungry. Unfortunately, the East lack all of these qualities. You lot have sacrificed diplomacy and reason on the altar of your now outdated Republican ways.

As to your claim that Presidency was allowed to be slugged out between 2 SW candidates in 1999, you lied. The SW candidates that contested that election in Obasanjo and Falae went through a process and triumphed - They both won the primaries.

Recall if your memory serves you, that Ekwueme contested the PDP primaries with Obasanjo while the electoral pact that heralded the alliance of both AD and APP stated that one of Falae (AD) and Onu (APP) must defeat the other to emerge as the two parties joint nominated candidate. I doubt you heard any Yoruba man cry at the time or assume entitlement to ticket ownership even after the role they played singlehandedly forcing the transition to civil rule.

In the same vein in 2021, the ticket again has been zoned to the South (Not SW, SE or SS) based on the gentlemanly rotational agreement. If the East so wants it, they will have to form alliance. You don't demand! Heck, you ultimately lack the will and unity to force it...

Politics is a game of numbers. The one with the numbers or the persuasive ability to attract votes most likely wins.

Sadly, the Land of the rising sun is proudly too Kingly to stoop. In that case, what you see is what you get...

Whichever way UEFA's position is viewed, it lacks merit all over.

While the best solution is to have the Championship seen out, the possibility is slim in the face of this pandemic.

I safely assume that almost everybody agrees that the 2019/20 season is Liverpool's to lose, they could yet throw it away just because this is football and nothing else. Nothing is guaranteed!

But it doesn't end there! The 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions belongs to any of the 9 teams in the top 10. There's that mathematical chance! How does UEFA or the Domestic League determine that?

Worse still is the relegation battle. It's at the most delicate and interesting stage. Teams will argue remaining fixtures favour them to climb the table and stay up. And since EPL for example cannot know if or not this claim is true until the match is played, how do you then condemn such teams to relegation?

It is really difficult and a position had to be taken, but to talk about Merit... Don't go there...

That should count for something. Against "now" older swordsmen in their prime, Jamie would gladly take a back seat!

While I am not holding brief for Joshua as Ruiz rocked him all night, something seemed off right from the beginning;

1. He took a while before coming out of his room
2. He looked sloppy, humble and slow as he walked up to the ring
3. He was throwing weak punches all night like one who had nothing left in him
4. He managed to land one that fell Ruiz but his follow-through was too watery. That's not the AJ I know
5. Took his share of the punch and never recovered. He lost the match at the 3rd round. Even against a more aggressive and athletic Klitscho, he wasn't that bad
6. First time away from home, then this

This takes nothing away from Ruiz. He battled hard and his tactics were spot on.

Match fixing? I know nothing about....

I hope a re-match on home soil takes care of our doubts...
