Awka on rampage as Cultists take over , kill 9 persons, families in tears ——at least 21 killed since December 2017 (Photos of people shot on display, so viewer’s discretion needed).

Awka South local government area of Anambra state since after the Imo Awka annual cultural celebration of Awka people as cultists have taken over the state capital killing 9 persons in a swoop.

The reasons for the cult killing and counter killings were not immediately ascertained as at press time but lifeless bodies of people alleged to be cult litter different quarters in Awka eliciting tears from families of victims. Most families are sleeping with one eyes open as nobody knows who next shall be victim.

On Saturday night about 7:30 pm one guy was shot at Nkwelle Awka in front of his gate while four were killed on Sunday morning and two shot at Amikwo allegedly.

Four were killed around Eke Awka , three killed around Nkwelle Awka while one was killed around Regina Caeli Hospital Awka even as another was killed by 3 pm on Sunday.
On the Imo Awka festival , two cultists were fighting in front of Isiagu junction ,Amikwo, Awka by 4:30 pm in front of police and other security agents including anti cult team but nothing was done until they dismissed themselves.
But on Sunday Federal SARS has taken over Amikwo Awka and other villages searching for members of the waring cult groups allegedly.

Reports further said that there were cult wars before , during and after Imoka festival but why the sudden joy for taking life by the Awka youths could not be ascertained.
The cult groups fighting are Aye’s and Baggers allegedly but it is snowballing to other groups yet to be named and within weekend 10 boys have been killed in Awka allegedly.

Efforts to speak with the PPRO Anambra state command, SP Mohammed Haruna was unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report even though a police source close to the CP’s office but not authorized to speak to newsmen said the CP is worried over the development and has despatched crack team to sniff out the immediate and remote cause of the rampant killings and all those involved to be brought to book.
It would be recalled that despite the Peace talk between the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Garba between Aiyee fraternity members and Vickings Fraternity members on 31st December at Trig Point Hotel , members of other cult groups have continued to kill each other.
As at December 12 members were killed, one was killed at Umudiana Amikwo, another close to Ogbalingba while others were shot at different parts of Awka.

The traditional institution in Awka and the Town Union leadership have been in crisis over the rightful occupant of the throne and town union but efforts to get Chief Amobi Nwokafor, PhD, President General, Awka Development Union Nigeria (ADUN) on one side or the traditional ruler of Awka , Obi Gibson Nwosu on the other side to comment on the issue was too unsuccessful.

In a very surprising development, it is being reported that Logic has split with wife Jessica Andrea.

According to a report from TMZ on Friday, the two have decided to call it quits, but it is not clear when exactly when the they decided to go this way. The 28-year-old rapper (born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II) and the 25-year-old vlogger and singer began dating in 2013 and got married two years later in 2015. Rumors of Cardi B being pregnant with Offset’s child isn’t anything we haven’t heard before. In fact, over Super Bowl weekend, Cardi’s camp told some nightclub staffers that she was carrying her first child and didn’t want to be around drinks & party atmosphere. However, Cardi has since denied those rumors, as has her alleged baby daddy Offset, but reports are still saying that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is indeed pregnant.

Sources told TMZ that Cardi B is due the first week of July and will be close to 7 months pregnant with Offset’s kid when she takes the stage next month at Coachella. Who knows how she plans to cover her growing baby bump, but it appears she did so TWICE last week at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. She wore a black poofy skirt while she performed, and another maroon poofy skirt when she won & accepted her award (see pics above).

This alleged secret pregnancy won’t slow Cardi down at all though. Sources say Cardi plans to remain in work mode until she delivers. The media outlet was told that Cardi has been spending the past two weeks locked in the studio trying to complete her debut album, which is supposed to be dropping next month sometime. In addition, Cardi is also going on tour with Bruno Mars in September, only 2 months after giving birth to her first child. So it’s safe to say her work ethic isn’t letting up.

TMZ reports that Cardi will make about $100,000 dollars per night on tour, and each Coachella performance, which if you do math is a shit ton of diapers.

In 2011, a little tv show called Game of Thrones premiered on HBO about various factions vying for the crown in a magical realm named Westeros. 7 years later, and it’s a cult phenomenon with fans itching for more episodes. At “The Best of HBO” panel at the INTV Conference in Israel, the HBO team shared their thoughts on the remaining episodes.

HBO continues to be successful, and were celebrating two shows they have on their hands: Big Little Lies and Game of Thrones. HBO’s SVP of Drama, Francesca Orsi recalled a powerful moment during production. She said that following the table read, there was 15 to 20 minutes of applause followed by tears. “It was amazing”, Orsi said regarding the show’s final moments.

The network had also announced spin-offs, and Orsi knew there was no other option. “It feels like corporate malfeasance to not continue it,” she noted. “That’s why it spawned three, four, five spinoffs,” concluding with “we’re going big.” The details around the 9th season, and the future additions to the mythos, are still under wraps. You’ll have to wait for the big conclusion in 2019.

Stephen Hawking has passed away at the age of 76.

British physicist Stephen Hawking, the author of the worldwide best-selling book A Brief History of Time and the subject of the Oscar-nominated film The Theory of Everything, has died at the age of 76.

Hawking’s children, Lucy, Robert and Tim confirmed the news to the BBC in a statement: “He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years. His courage and persistence with his brilliance and humour inspired people across the world. He once said, “It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love.” We will miss him forever.”

Hawking suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and was confined to an electric wheelchair for much of his adult life. Diagnosed at age 21, he unable to move a muscle, and only communicated via a computer-synthesized voice. He was one of the world’s longest survivors of ALS ever, and one of the brightest minds this world has ever known.

“My goal is simple,” he once said. “It is complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.” He spent much of his career searching for a way to reconcile Einstein’s theory of relativity with quantum physics and produce a “Theory of Everything.”

This afternoon,a great scene was created at Onitsha-Enugu express way by a luxurious bus coming back from the North which was carrying people and goods,the bus caught fire which consumed the bus at that sport.

Report says that no injury was sustained by any of the passenger,only the goods was lost as the cause of the fire

Fiery Enugu-based Catholic priest gave his views today on the current agitation for the secession of southeast Nigeria from the rest of the country as the Republic of Biafra.

Addressing a gathering of Igbos in East London, the controversial cleric said that Igbos should be the last people seeking to leave Nigeria. He said: “No Hausa person owns property in Igboland. No Yoruba person owns property in Igboland.
But 60% of businesses in northern Nigeria are owned by Igbos. 40% of businesses in western Nigeria are owned by Igbos.”

Mbaka implied that Igbos had the most to lose by the breakup of the country. He claimed to know about how much Igbos owned across Nigeria because he was regularly being invited to to say blessings at the opening of new businesses by Igbos, especially in northern Nigeria. He said: “Go to Sabon Gari in Kano and see what Igbos own there”. He added that Igbos could complain that they were not enough of them in government, but under former president Goodluck Jonathan, an Igbo was finance minister, Central Bank governor, and so on.

He went on to suggest that those Igbos that have been seduced into agitating for Biafra by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of separatist group Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are “the children of the poor”, who in his view, are not thinking properly about the implications of secession. Mbaka said those people were being deceived by Kanu.

Mbaka then moved on to what could happen in an independent Biafra if it ever came to fruition. He said: “If you think we have trouble in Nigeria now, we will see trouble in Nigeria. No Anambra man would let an Enugu man be president, no Imo man would let an Abakaliki man be president”.

He was very convinced that fault lines between different Igbo communities would come to the fore if Biafra ever became reality.When challenged on talking about politics, Mbaka responded that “politics is part of life” and “I read political science and political philosophy”. He added that decisions made by politics affect everyone.

There were lots of shooting in Isi -gate, Umuahia the capital of Abia State on 4th Sept.

According to residence who were at the scene at the time of the incident, a commercial tricyclist popularly known as keke driver, puts a Biafra flag in front of his tricycle. On reaching a check-point, a Nigeria army stopped him and starting him what the flag is all about. The man on reaction answered the army that it is a Biafra flag, and that he is a Biafran, before everyone knew exactly what going on, the solider slapped the tricyclist and started dragging him away. At a point, the guy couldn't bear the pain any more and started to defend himself but instead of calming the situation down the Nigeria soldier shot him in the leg.

As the incident continued, Nigeria army signaled his base who sent more battalions of soldier to the entire arena of ISI Gate and started shooting live bullets at harmless Biafrans.

According to people who were present live, about two persons were confirmed death while several others sustained different degrees of chronic injuries and others dead.

Family Writers press who visited the scene also gathered some sensitive report from the soldiers on ground who out of joy, were boosting that Buhari has given them order to shoot all the perceived IPOB members.
According to them, Buhari has already deployed soldiers from Kwara State and far North who will use the annoyance of their experience with Boko Haram to deal with Biafrans mercilessly.

Even while on ground, there were combined forces between Nigeria Armed Forces who were shooting live bullets while the Hausa-Fulani's who residence in ISI gate, Umuahia were also firing local made poisonous arrows on armless Biafrans. To put the facts straight, we were also able to pickup a live bullet among the uncountable bullets scattered all over the scene.

Finally, we are placing the world on high notice on the ongoing instigation of violence as masterminded by Arewa cabal. Their aim is just to use the avenue to possibly assassinate the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The world must take note and hold Nigeria responsible.

Today was the end of the road for this thief whom was burnt to death by angry mobs.

This incident took place around 2pm in front of cook-market Onitsha Anambra state, they were 2 with a motorcycle.

They rubbed a passerby of some money which one of the thief ran away with the money but the other one was caught and burnt to death together with his motorcycle before the police could come to take charge of the situation.

UPP primary election turn bloody as Uwakwe Maduabuchi,the chairman of Owerre-Ezukala ward 1 is confirmed dead, eye witness said it was as a result of police brutality.

This incidence took place in Owerre-Ezukala Orumba south LGA of Anambra State, in the early hours of Saturday when the United Progressive Party were conducting the primary election.

This ward chairman was protesting the shortchanging of his ward executives by the National leadership of the party which led to the quarrel between the party members and the security.
