Popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele has been accused of being wicked and abusive by former staff.



A Nigerian lady identified as Cassandra Owolabi, who formerly worked for star actress, Funke Akindele, has taken to her social media page to accuse the actress of physical, emotional and financial abuse.



Narrating her story in a lengthy post which she tagged #IsurvivedFunkeAkindele, Cassandra who is a screenwriter, alleged that Funke made her staff work under ‘duress and fear’. She added that the experience has taught her that not all that glitter is gold.

A little update: About a month ago, I posted a lengthy video of my experience working with Funke Akindele. But the video was quickly brought down as a bid to shut me up. Naturally as a content creator, my instinct was to make another one right away but I couldn’t bring myself to it due to the fact that I touched on a really sensitive topic (depression) and some experiences I passed through while working for her which was like opening old wounds and I needed time to heal from that.


I am indeed happy and relieved that I finally got to make another video in which I touched on a few things because truthfully, even if I was given a day I would still not be able to cover all the ills not just me but her staff face daily.



The experience has indeed taught me that not all that glitters is gold, literally! Looking back I just wondered how I endured so much when we were deprived of so many things. For instance, we couldn’t watch TV (literally, the TV in our lodge was taken away weeks after we resumed) and she mustn’t walk in on you watching anything on your laptop (can’t tell you how many times she randomly sent people to come check if we were sleeping or doing anything asides writing). I mean, how do you expect your writers to be 100% productive when you don’t allow them some leisure time? It didn’t take me long to develop bloodshot eyes because there were daysssssssssss when we’d write all through the night, no sleep. We worked under DURESS AND FEAR. It is always about the script, the script is more important than you and your health.

P.S – For the few who asked why my character in the YouTube series ‘HOUSEHELPS’ was replaced, well… Because I chose to leave she asked.

The Infinx Note 7 and the Infinix s5 pro are the latest phones of Infinix and they come with some very exciting features - like the 48MP Al camera, very nice battery capacity (4000mAh for infinix S5 pro and 5000mAh for Infinix note 7), 4G LTE (Band 28A), big display sizes (6.53 inch for infinix S5 pro and 6.95 Inch for Infinix note 7), Large RAM and ROM, good design and color, XOS 6/Andriod 10.

The two devices also have similar prices: on Jumia, the Infinix S5 pro is priced at #78,950 while the Infinix Note 7 is priced at #79,400 - so the prices are quite similar.

They both have IPS LCD panels, the Note 7 has a 6.95 Inches with a 258ppi while the Infinix S5 Pro has a 6.53 inches IPS LCD with a 395ppi. Today. I will be comparing the Samsung A31 and the Samsung A51, and it is going to be an exciting journey... Stay Calm, stay chilled and READ!

For the price, the Samsung A31 is the cheaper device, and as at the time of publishing, it cost about #102,000, and the Samsung A51 cost #128,000, mehn there is a whooping difference right - a difference of #26,000 between the two.

Now, let's start with the Build quality - Both phones have plastic or glastic at the rear but at the front, the Samsung A51 has a corning gorilla glass 3 for a bit of protection while the Samsung A31 has glass at the front.- however, don't be deceived with the corning gorilla glass in the Samsung A51, because if both phones fall down faced down, hmmmmmm you know what will happen.

Both phones have volume and power button at the right, they both have a noise-cancelling mic at the top, dual sim tray with memory card slot, a 3.5mm jack.

The camera arrangement at the rear is identical but with the exception of the LED flashlight of course,

For, the build quality, there is virtually almost the same thing - the only difference is just the corning gorilla glass embedded in the Samsung A51.

For, the display, the display is equally the same - they both come with a Super AMOLED panel - the only difference is that the Samsung A51 is slightly bigger because it comes with a 6.5-inch display, while the Samsung A31 comes with a 6.4-inch display., both smartphones come with the optical fingerprint scanner on the display and they work exactly the way - So, for the display too, there's no real special difference between the two.

Lets talk of the performance now, Samsung A31 comes with a MediaTek hello p65 chipset, while the Samsung A51 comes with an Exynos 9611 chipset.

Talking of Camera, the Samsung A31 comes with a 20MP front-facing camera, while the Samsung A51 has a 32MP front-facing camera - Obviously, the Samsung A51 has the better front-facing camera, for the rear camera, both phones have 48MP main camera and the pictures would look very similar. Unfortunately, Samsung A31 doesn't have night mode, but the Samsung A51 has it, moving to the wide-angle lens: the Samsung A51 has a 12MP camera, while the Samsung A31 has an 8MP Camera, at first glance they may look identical, but when you ZOOM - you will see that the Samsung A51 Camera is better. Both smartphones come with 5MP depth.

In summary, for the display in the Samsung A51, you will get a bigger display level, and also with the Samsung A31, you will still get the same gorgeous display as it is with the Samsung A51 display.

With the Samsung A31(Cheaper price), you will still get all that is in the Samsung A51 except for the Camera, and it's not as if the Samsung A31 camera is bad - NO! but A51 is better in-camera level, but A31 defeats A51 in battery level, so if you are looking for a phone with a cheaper price and features as much as A51 - I think you should consider going for the Samsung A31.

2. Search for WATCHED - Multimedia browser, then click on Install - the app is about 22MB, so it won't take so long to install

3. Once the app is installed, Open it

4. Once it is opened, you will see something written and I quote 'To set up WATCHED, Install a bundle first. Click on + on the top - right corner" on the screen, just click on the sentence

5. You will see another pop up which states that Enter URL - SO, enter 'HUHU.TO' then click on continue.

6. Now, the app is opened, you can also watch movies though, but that is not the point of discussion for now

7. Now, click the 2nd bottom icon - the icon looks like a TV, it is the TV ICON

8. You will see a playlist, HUHU.TO, then you need to click on it, it will load

9. After loading, you will see a list of channels

10. Once it loads, click on the search button at the top right corner, then search for "BEIN SPORTS 11 HD"

10. You will see two stations, you can also star the stations(you will see the star sign beside the station), for easy access when you need to watch another match - so you can click on any of the stations when there is a match to enjoy your match

11. Then, for LA-LIGA, search for 'BEIN SPORTS 12 HD' and you can also star for easy access and you can start enjoying your matches.

Follow the steps below:

1. Go to youtube.com or if you have the youtube app downloaded to your device, click on it.

The above is what the page is supposed to look like.

2. Search for whatever you want to download from youtube

In my example, I am choosing to download 'Simi - Duduke' Video from youtube to my device... So, I have searched for it and I have seen it.

3. Click on the video

So, now I have clicked on the video I want to download, you can see it playing already, so if I just want to watch, i'd just watch and that is all, but we are learning how to download to our device.

4. Click the URL of the page and save it, then add 'ss' before the youtube.com and click enter As seen above, you will add 'ss' before the youtube.com and click enter.... Remember you have saved the URL you copied.

You will then see this

5. Now, start downloading.
Once you click on download, your preferred video starts downloading directly to your device.

However, you can check the resolution from 360p to 720p. It is all your choice..

Wow, the Samsung s20 ultra has been enabled with 5G Capabilities. The device supports both sub-6GHz 5G connectivity and higher-speed, millimeter-wave 5G. The 5G connectivity in the S20 Ultra is enabled by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, which includes a 5G chipset, the Snapdragon X55 Modem-RF System. The Snapdragon 865 will also provide strong performance via an eight-core CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.84 GHz.

However, the iPhone 11pro max and all other previous iPhones do not have the 5G capability at this time

Here's one particular area where Samsung — and other Android phone makers — still have some serious catching up to do. The A13 Bionic chipset in the iPhone 11 Pro Max surpasses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset inside the Galaxy S20 Ultra, just like it beat phones powered by last year's Snapdragon 855 system-on-chip.

Now, rest assured — the S20 Ultra, with its 12GB of RAM compared with the iPhone's 4GB, is no slouch. But Apple's still a step ahead of the Snapdragon contingent, judging from the benchmarks.

In GFXBench's Aztec Ruins high-tier off-screen graphics test, the S20 Ultra pulled a 1,319 result at 20.7 frames per second, compared with 1,657 at 25 fps for Apple's flagship. If maximum performance is a major priority for you, the iPhone might remain the answer.

BATTERY LIFE AND STORAGE

The Samsung galaxy s20 ultra features a significantly big battery of 5000mAh, while the iPhone 11 pro max features a battery of about 3969mAh.

On storage level, the Samsung s20 ultra comes with a 128GB at the initial state and also has an internal storage option of up to about 512GB.... (That's a lot really).

The device will also come with a microSD slot enabling up to 1 TB of additional storage. Buyers of the iPhone 11 Pro Max can choose between variants with 64 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of internal storage.

One feature that they both have in common that most business users admire is that both devices come with a dual sim - which provides business users with two mobile numbers on a phone.

Finally, after a while the Redmi Note 9s is now in Nigeria, However, there is a little clause, on the launch day it was set at N78,900 for 4GB + 64GB and right now, it has increased to N90,500 and for the 6GB +128GB, it was initially set for N88,900 on launch date, but right now(as at the time of publishing) it has become N103,000.

Well, there had been a difference in the price, it is probably owing to lots of things happening in the country now (Coronavirus, Lockdown and all).

As at the time of publishing, the Infinix Note 7 is priced at N76,000 for 4GB + 64GB, Woow, that means there is a price difference of about N12,000 between the two phones right.

So, which one should you go for...?

Well put them side by side by the above specification, the Redmi Note 9s will be brighter than the Infinix Note 7, and obviously, the Infinix Note 7 has the biggest screen size than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s.

The Redmi note 9s comes with a Snapdragon 720G Processor(8nanometer processor) which clearly shows that running applications on the redmi note 9s will be relatively faster than the Infinix Note 7 with MediaTek G70 processor. This shows that the Redmi Note 9s is very fast, even faster for its price tag.

Well, for display also, the Redmi Note 9s might be as well taking the lead...

CAMERA: For the front camera, both smartphones come with 16MP Camera sensor, for the rear, both smartphones come with 48MP Camera, and both smartphones take nice photos really

BATTERY LIFE: The redmi note 9s comes with a 5,020mAh battery while the infinix note 7 comes with a 5,000mAh battery capacity, both phones also have 18W fast charging capability...

Well, the battery life of both seems almost the same, maybe a tie here.


Well, in conclusion, both phones are really nice, but we have a mid-ranger and king budget phone which I am going to be giving the Redmi note 9s because this smartphone has a lot of features which are too good to be included in the phone with such budgeted amount

Infinix Note 7 isn't a bad device, its equally good, and for this year, in the budget category, I am going to give it a 2nd position...

Nigerians on social media have shared reaction to a viral video of a dad who was advising his little daughter to engage in examination malpractice.



In the video, the man who spoke partly in Igbo language, advised his daughter to learn how to sneak in textbooks inside the exam hall, so she could pass in flying colors.



According to him, he did it during his days in school and it worked for him. He advised her not to stress her brain in the exam Hall trying to get answers to questions she hasn’t seen before.



He further assured his daughter that he loves her very much, and that is the reason why he is giving her the best advice.



In their reaction to the video, many Nigerians called out the man for dishing out what they consider as bad advice to the little girl who might eventually consider examination malpractice to be the norm.



Hopefully, the video was made just for amusement purposes.

A COVID-19 taskforce official of the Ogun state government has been suspended after he was caught on camera beating a woman right before her husband.



According to the narration by the woman, she was traveling in the company of her husband to a supermarket in Ogun from Lagos, not aware of the total lockdown implemented in the neighboring state.



They were then asked to pay N15,000 as fine and were made to follow the officials to their office in Sango-Otta, where the assault on the woman took place.



She wrote in a post on Instagram:



This afternoon, on my way to #justritestores in Ojodu to buy a bicycle for my daughter whose 7th birthday is in 2 weeks, we were stopped at the intersection between Lagos and Ogun State (which isn’t properly marked) by #ogunstatetaskforce officials who informed us that there was total lockdown in #ogunstate during weekends and since we were in their territory, we had to get a pass from their local government office( Ifo Local Government office in Ojodu Abiodun) which is about 3 minutes away.


They seized my husband’s ID card and requested that we drive them to the office. We refused to pick them in the car because of the #covid19 situation and they got really upset. I agreed to walk with the official while my husband drove behind us to their office.


When we arrived, we were handed over to the man in the video who told us we would pay a fine of N15000.00 for disobeying the lockdown that was in place. We explained that we didn’t live in Ogun State and weren’t aware of the lockdown and asked to be pardoned so we could go home. I started recording because I saw that my pleas were falling on deaf ears while the officer called a guy to deflate our tires. While recording, the man began to beat me.


I am calling on #ogunstategovernor @dapoabiodunmfr and other government agencies to see what the officials they have put in the office are treating citizens.

The man beat me, kicked me, pushed me and punched me because of N15000.00.



The Ogun state government has however released a statement in that respect, indicating that all the officials involved in the saga, have been suspended.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has again lashed out at Church leaders following the ban on a religious gathering which is yet to be lifted due to the increased number of Coronavirus cases in the country.



In a televised service the founder of Loveworld Ministries a.k.a Christ Embassy presided over, he stated that one can't believe in Jesus and be afraid of touching Coronavirus patients and other viruses.



He reiterated his claim of churches still being shut because some church leaders have insisted that for places of worship to reopen, health guidelines he (Pastor Chris) described as "wicked" must be observed. Some of the guidelines include wearing of gloves to lay hands on the sick and suspension of communion.



Pastor Chris insisted that what church leaders are inadvertently planning is "persecution of Christians" as leaders in the country might currently be mocking Christians.

In what seems to be a surprising development, a Commissioner in Borno state has been captured on camera flogging women.



In the viral video, Borno State Commissioner For Agriculture, Bukar Talba, was seen publicly flogging women and chasing them out of a public gathering.



The details of the video are still unknown, but Dogo M Shettima, Humanitarian, Social Welfare Officer, claimed that those being flogged were not the “real beneficiaries of the food items, so they must be convicted “.



He wrote:
